Re: Gamers Will Happily Pay $70 for PS5 Games, Argues Analyst

For $70, if its a game I am anticipating I will probably pay it (already did on my Demon Souls pre-order), but if its a game I am more on the fence about I will just wait for a price drop where before I may have made a more impulse buy. Been getting kind of screwed with buggy Day 1 games lately anyway.

Even in the egdiest years of my teenage angst wI would never even think to send death threats to someone who worked on something I ended up not liking.

You want to ***** on the game thats fine, while I enjoyed it, I can see why it was a letdown for some; but in the end its just a game if someone gets this worked up over something ultimately so trivial they really need to seek mental help.

Only just started but I have to say I find this to be the most utterly charming games ive played. The feeling harkens back to me as a kid playing the original Legend of Zelda for the first time.

Horizon and Persona 5 are not just my favorite titles of the year but easily top 10 all time (personally). Lost Legacy and Death of the Outsider while short were as good as any main game in their respective series. Really going to take a lot to top 2017 IMO.

As I've stated on other articles I almost exclusive play Single Player Games (exceptions for Soulsbourne types) so this largely doesn't effect me. That being said its nice to see the gaming community band together to say enough is enough, the only question is if it will work; it only takes on person to plop down $15K in lootboxes (which IS apparently a thing) to make up for a lot of lost sales.

Re: Hardware Review: PSVR Review - Should You Buy PlayStation VR?

I quite literally just had this conversation with a friend... and I am a little drunk so apologies if this reads as a ramble.

I want a PSVR in the worst way; been talking about getting one for a year, but still hesitant to pull the trigger. I am afraid it will end up being a dust collector. Its one thing if its a 3DS that cost me $100, but were talking a $400 investment.

The library right now has some interesting titles (dying to try Thumper) but overall seems weak of anything that will hold my attention. And I worry about motion sickness. I am pretty tolerant in real life but hate to find out after the fact it makes me sick.

But on the other hand its been a while since I've had a new gadget...

I liked the concept of the first one, but found the combat parts to be really tedious and the controls had a noticeable delay which caused me to quit this one early; sadly doesn't sound like combat improved much.
