I bought a Switch on Black Friday with Mario Kart and Mario Odyssey, you know, for the family. Going back to Mario is always good. I really like the rumble in the little controllers, the graphics are pretty good for something so small and it doesn’t make a peep of sound, yet...

@JJ2 I think the fail rate on the Xbox 360 was a real turn off for a lot of people. Xbones don’t seem to have that problem.

@Gamer83 Shouldn’t Xbox be making gains on Sony during this time? They have the more powerful console, proven reliability, consumer friendly subscription services that allow access to AAA games... 🤷🏻‍♂️

Sony just keep on rolling with exclusives and key 3rd party partnerships. Their strategy has been brilliant! They seem to be completely unaffected by the loss of personnel in top positions within the company like Andrew House and Adam Boyes.

Kind of a funky chart. FIFA and COD are slipping, and no Ass Cree or GTAV.

If I was buying a PS4 now, i’d want the Pro CUH-7200 model. Can’t quite justify yet,but at some point...

This is a solid take, but I’m not fussed. If anything we were probably just duped into believing Sony was our friend back at the PS4’s launch. Self-identifying with a multi-national corporation is always going to be a hazardous pursuit.

E3 appears to be dead. A lot of analysts have been predicting this, but it’s sad to see it happening. Sony will launch the PS5 in it’s own time and space.

@Flurpsel yeah i’m more or less playing like it’s a Fallout game and i’m using VATS, except it’s called Dead Eye. When you unlock the ability to see animals vital organs it’s even more like VATS. Not that I mind, I actually find it very satisfying.

@purplemonkeyspan the only thing they’ve ever shilled is Amazon, and thankfully they do that any longer. You can take the rest at face value.

Before I got VR I would want phone integration so I could see messages and take calls and stuff like that.

This is cool. I played quite a bit of Ridge Racer: Unbounded.

@ShogunRok I haven’t seen anything of Fallout 76, but Fallout 4 was a quality game. Bethesda are trailblazers when it comes to open world RPGs.

I don’t understand the outrage. Most games I play look like they are running on engines that have be iterated on for the last 10 years or so. Red Dead Redemption 2, Black Ops 4, AC Odyssey...It’s normal.

@Ralizah EA hasn’t done much with its back catalogue for a while, unfortunately.

I’ve been overcoming the shooting by using Dead Eye to mark multiple enemies heads then shooting them all in one go. I don’t know if this is how Rockstart expect people to play, but it makes shootouts quite easy.

Classic N64 would suck balls without Goldeneye and Perfect Dark. As for classic PlayStation, I’d want Worms, Soul Blade, Gran Turismo, Wipeout and Crash Bandicoot of course in there.

@TheArt yeah I get that. But it doesn’t have anything like the nemesis system that is truly groundbreaking, which is a slight disappointment to me. It’s not like they’ve revolutionized the open world genre...

I buckled and bought RDR2. It’s ok, not as groundbreaking as I hoped it would be. Still, i’m a cowboy on a steel horse I ride, i’m wanted dead or alive.

@DLB3 Too far to the left or the right is probably equally bad, but currently, right wing politics is definitely a greater threat to the world, in my opinion. I’m counting the days until Trump is out of office, and praying every day that somehow we manage to get this People’s Vote and turn the tide on Brexit.

It was the PSP remake of Rondo of Blood that I wanted 😃 . I’m not fussed about SOTN.

Would have been interesting if they had included Back to The Future and Sam and Max to see where they were before The Walking Dead. And wasn’t there a Jurassic Park game as well that no one liked?

I don’t care for myself. The devs always seem to make this stuff easy to ignore in AAA games.

I don’t like these companies preying on it’s customers, but at the same time, in order to make these games, you have to ensure you’re going to make your money back.

Final Fantasy 13 is the best Final Fantasy. Lighting, Snow, Vanille and Sazh are the greatest.

Wow that’s a shame. I’m sure there must still be a market out there for what they do. I for one loved their Batman games.

I think the ability to download PS3 games would be the clincher. Sony are still haunted by the cell.
