I'm not surprised by this trend. The teenagers I know that used to ask for AAA games for Xmas now ask for Steam and Riot point.

@JaxonH really!? I might give it another go. I love Mario games but the lack of control and the auto-jumping was incredibly jarring to me. I was expecting a more typical runner like Cobalt style.

Well done @themcnoisy I would have liked to have voted but this year I mostly played older games. Uncharted 4 I bought but I only made it through about half of it. It's a great game but it really brings me down when the characters complain that I don't use stealth. Not my game of the year.

I played it over the free weekend. It's COD, but with mechs as kills streak rewards. This type of game peaked a good while ago and is now stagnant.

I can't say I'm to fussed about the Switch as long as Sony keep bringing decent games to the Vita. The PSX conference gave me confidence they still see a future for the Vita.

@TheGZeus the crafting, water puzzles and stealth mechanics are tedious. A pet peeve for me is that I don't like games that make it clear that they want you to take each enemy out silently when it's more fun to fight them head on. I had the same problem with Uncharted 4. The high watermark for Naughty Dog is still Uncharted 2 IMO.

@Neolit It's a great game, but some parts of it are annoying and towards the end the combat gets old. I wouldn't say it's peerless.

I feel like moments like this were achieved two generations ago in Resident Evil 4. Sure Naughty Dog has refined the formula, but it's not like they've rewritten the book on game design. Graphical fidelity helps all games because it's primarily a visual medium.

I usually use my teenage cousins as barometers for this kind of stuff. Mostly they care about Skyrim and FF15 this year. I think Watch Dogs took too much of a hammering to stay relevant. Titanfall shot itself in the foot by launching as an Xbox exclusive when PS4 was the much more popular console, and people have been burning out on COD for a while.

Great game but I do think MW2 is even better. Hopefully it will get the same treatment one day.

I need to get LBP 3. LBP 1-2 were so good, I don't why I haven't got LBP 3 yet. I guess it's because it wasn't made by MM, but that doesn't mean it won't still be good.

Agreed. Vita is my handheld of choice. On a plane, I wouldn't trade it for anything. When the Switch comes out I see that changing. Though you make a good point about what the Vita has proven in that games like Uncharted, AC and KillZone are best kept to a home console. Could well be the same for many of the games Nintendo was showcasing in the trailer.

Nah. I want a new laptop and phone before I get a new console. I'm also interested to see how Breath of the Wild turns out because I've been hankering to play a new Zelda, which means I'll need a U or NX.

I like Killzone games. Killzone 2 was the best except being a midget. The enemy AI is some of the best I've seen, and it's really fun to play on the hardest difficulty.

I'm also a closet Move fan. RE5, Resistence 3, Killzone 3, Bioshock: Infinite and many more games I played from start to finish with Move and the Nunchuck thing and no shell. I really liked that setup ever since RE4 on the Wii.

I wish GT could get back on track. DriveClub is good, but it's no driving sim.

Is this the basketball game with the Spike Lee story mode? If so, I might give it a whirl. I'll definitely play Gone Home just to see what the hype was about.PS3 and Vita are looking grim.

Does what you did in the base game effect this dlc, or is it a seperate thing?

I nominated the top 2 so I'm pretty pleased with the result. In the correct order as well both great games, which I've completed numerous times, but for me the scavenging and crafting gets tiresome in TLOU. Can't wait to play Uncharted 4!

@BowTiesAreCool Nothing's wrong with Aidan Pearce, or the game. They're just a bit bland when people expected a lot more. The hacking is basic, and you climb towers to open up the map and get side missions like AC. It's a decent open world game, but it came out at a time when people were getting frustrated with the genre.

Would be cool if Sony brought this to Vita.

@BLPs That's what I mean.For quite a while now, I've been thinking that my next big investment will be a new PC. It seems to be easier than ever, and Steam offers everything PSN does. Microsoft seem to be thinking the same thing because Xbox exclusives are turning into PC games as well. I see PS4K as kind of a cash grab before the market gets to far away from console gaming.

Also, where's my Neo Vita, Sony!?
