@ShogunRok I would have loved to have heard from people from Insomiac, Sony Santa Monica and Quantic Dream the way we heard from the Ubisoft devs. I honestly find game devs to be pretty cool guys; Jens Matthies of Wolfenstein 2 really stole my heart this year and made me want to play his game even more.
I didn't watch the Sony press conference, but I was left scratching my head when I saw "Shadow of The Colossus for PS4" as the main headline coming from the conference. Sony must have seen a backlash coming with such a thin set of announcements to make at E3.
I agree with a lot of others. If it wasn't for Forza I would have no interest in the X brand, and I hope Gran Turismo will fill that void on PlayStation.
@get2sammyb The more they add the better. I'm glad they're bringing Wipeout back, but I've already played the hell out of all these tracks already, so it's kind of a bittersweet return.
So they really are making another one of these. I doubt they can pull it off as well as the original Call of Duty or Medal of Honor did. Plus, how long has it been since Saving Private Ryan?
Given that Broken Age, Grim Fandango and Day of the Tentacle quickly came to Plus, it's quite tempting to wait to play this one for free. No guarantees mind you.
I'm never sure how realistic to be in these posts. I want to just say Horizon, but is Salt and Sanctuary even realistic? How about Project CARS? Who knows? It's just a guessing game based on the type of games they've given before.
Absolutely amazing. But I'm still going to start a race by going full pelt, on the inside, into the first corner, and bump into the AI cars to guide me round, and put me at the top of the pack.
I always liked the idea of PS Now and Remote Play, but hated any kind of lag. I've been having a lot better luck with Remote Play recently so I would give Now another chance, though not on my Vita because they're cutting that service.
I need to finish Persona 4. The dungeon crawling got to be a drag for me with them all feeling the same. Hopefully the dungeons are more different from one another in Persona 5.
@kyleforrester87 Really! That's some BS. I guess for some reviewers any Zelda game is a magical experience. I hated it; no overworld, crap controls etc. OOT and TP are both 10s for me.
The best Zelda, Mario and GTA games are clearly deserving of tens. It's borne out in how these games received by the public. There have been sub-par entries like Skyward Sword, Sunshine and the PSP GTA games, but these games aren't rated so highly, so it's not like they get a free pass.
If making it an exclusive meant handing over millions of dollars to Activision then I think it's better they didn't. Paying for exclusivity is money for nothing if the game's being made anyway.
@FaultyDroid You can transfer your save from 360 or PS3 as well, I think. I know that for a friend of mine the better graphics and higher player count in the PS4 version was a big motivation for buying a PS4.
No. However disappointing the Switch is, i'm still more likely to buy that for something completely new. I don't need to refine my PS4 experience especially when I have no plans to buy a new tv. The pro is not for me.
@get2sammyb agreed. As much as you rightly laud all the fantastic games on PS4, there hasn't been anything of the stature or significance of those two PS3 games.

Re: Feature: All the E3 2017 Press Conferences Rated and Reviewed
If you could mix the games of Sony with the human touch of Ubisoft then I think you would have a clear winner.
Re: E3 2017: Sony Actually Went and Made Knack Good
Knack's pretty cool you guys. Always was.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2 Delayed Until Spring 2018
God dammit! Still gonna keep both my preorders though. Can't wait to get the PS5 version with double the player count as well.
Re: Review: Polybius (PS4)
Is the gameplay easier than TxK?
Re: Look, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Probably Isn't a PS4 Exclusive
Who cares if XBONERS can buy it for their console or not? I don't see the problem.
Re: Crash Bandicoot's Got a New Idle Animation on PS4, and It's Pretty Great
OK, now I'm in.

Re: May 2017 PlayStation Plus Games Announced
Boo! In the last sale I bought Aliennation, but also came close to buying Abzu!
Re: Sonic Forces' Classic Gameplay Doesn't Exactly Inspire Confidence
It looks a little better than Sonic 4, but not much. And the music is woeful.

Re: Review: The Disney Afternoon Collection (PS4)
@SomeDonkus be careful arguing about review scores, or else they might scrap them like Eurogamer, which would suck.
Re: Feature: 41 PS2 Classics That Must Come to PS4
All these games would be good. I recently picked up Ape Escape 2 from PSN and I was really surprised how the graphics popped, as well as the trophies
Re: Gran Turismo Sport PS4 Beta Codes Start Doing the Rounds in Europe
Nope.
Re: Nioh Is Koei Tecmo's Most Successful Western Release
I wonder if it's top grossing though. Some people love buying those costumes for DOA.
Re: WipEout Omega Collection's Anti-Grav League Opens 6th June
I'm looking forward to this, but I've already played these tracks a lot.
Re: April PlayStation Plus Games Revealed
The PS3 games look better than PS4 games. Pity there's not backwards compatibility.
Re: Video: Does Yooka-Laylee Delight on the PS4?
That does look good. I hope there's an interesting enough story and for a variety of levels including a snow level.

I'm never sure how realistic to be in these posts. I want to just say Horizon, but is Salt and Sanctuary even realistic? How about Project CARS? Who knows? It's just a guessing game based on the type of games they've given before.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 161
I'm getting my PS2 collectathon on with Ape Escape 2. Those PS2 games look pretty snazzy on the PS4, and ya know, trophees

Re: JonTron's Yooka-Laylee Cameo to Be Patched Out by Playtonic
I can understand why Playtonic wouldn't want to be associated with him after what he said.
Re: Review: Toukiden 2 (PS4)
@Enuo Cool. Will check the demo.
Re: Review: Toukiden 2 (PS4)
If the hud is so cluttered on the PS4, I wonder what it's like on the Vita... unplayable?
Re: Review: Journey (PlayStation 3)
I love this game. Sammy might think that Sleeping Dogs is a better game than GTA5, but he knows what he's talking about regarding Journey

@adf86 they say it's because he tweeted a sexist joke.

@adf86 maybe he's going to GiantBomb

How about more Resistance instead?

Re: Store Update: 21st February 2017 (Europe)
@get2sammyb alright I look forward to the forma.8 review. It looks a bit like PixelJunk Shooter, but let's see.
Re: Store Update: 21st February 2017 (Europe)
@get2sammyb Thanks! Do you know if Gem Smashers is the Game Boy Advanced game?
Re: Store Update: 21st February 2017 (Europe)
Do you have a review coming for forma.8?

@Vix yes it's probably worth getting for the visuals alone.

Journey is always a great game to go back to.
Re: Video: There's One Thing That Still Worries Us About Horizon: Zero Dawn

Re: DiRT 4 Gets Muddy on PS4 in June 2017
@get2sammyb I never thought DriveClub would still be my go to driving game in 2017.
Re: Site News: Welcome to the New Push Square
@solocapers it's better than eurogamer, which is no mean feat.
