It's a self fulfilling prophecy. If PS doesn't sell the disc drive and there are no games in the wild anymore, sure nobody will buy them because they cannot get hold of a physical game.

Looks like just eye candy. Good bullet hell games can only be made by very few companies with experience. The patterns don't look good, almost only bullet cancels. The controls look crappy. Format is bad, way to wide. This has to be in tate mode. I hope they prove me wrong with this

From a business standpoint it is understandable, Tomb Raider is a brand for 40 year old (male) gamers, so no growth can be expected. You cannot make a free to play franchise from it since everybody only wants to play Lara and nobody buys cosmetic objects. You cannot sell NFTs...
