@Zriggin1 !"Microsoft is giving us a new Doom game....Sony is giving us...this monstrosity....I think this really shows how lacking Sony first party quality is when it comes to anything that isn't an over the shoulder walking dad simulator"
You make a strong point here. You should ask Sony to spend 69 billion USD to buy a publisher so that they can "make" a game like Doom.
@Godot25 who said that? Seriously. The argument is against people who haven't even played it and are actively hating on it, not anyone who gave it a try and for whatever reason didn't enjoy it.
If I had even a tiny interest in watching these "olympics", it'd now be completely gone. Not that this will change anything. Most people have no moral compass so they'll be more than fine.
@PuppetMaster I played Dragon's Crown and got second hand embarrassment from the Sorceress' boob physics. It's as if it were designed by a 13 year old.
It's not just the nudity the problem, but how it's portrayed. In Conan Exiles there was plenty of nudity but it felt pretty natural.
@kailun I feel ya, man. Every time I visit the Porsche threads and complain about the prices. They're unacceptable. Why won't they lower them so that I can buy one?
@CrashBandicoat I don't know. I've heard that it was the easiest From game because of the open world setting. So, essentially you could level up your character, especially with the help of others (right?)
But since it's DLC maybe they tried something different, i.e. to make it exceptionally difficult.
@CrashBandicoat it's worth keeping in mind that this game sold far more than the rest of From games. So, it's inevitable that a whole lot of them won't like it because it's simply not for them. I'm one of those people who can't stand very difficult games. But I'm informed enough to avoid buying such games. Others get caught up in the hype.
@savarunl it could cost 100 times that and it still wouldn't change anything. It's optional. End of story. Again, if the base game is barebones (like the features that you mentioned that have been removed) and you need all the extra to enjoy it, then I'm right with you. Otherwise, it's complaining for the sake of complaining.
@Ilyn you're right. That's a big problem with Steam, because I've read several negative reviews of certain games and they seemed to have enjoyed it, but thought there was room for improvement and some positive ones were full of (very valid) complaints. It's hard to get a sense of how enjoyable the game is.
@savarunl I never understood this argument. You don't need to get them all to enjoy the game. I've played Sims before (Sims 2 and 3, I think) and I'd usually buy one expansion, maybe two. If the base game offers enough content, then all the extra content is completely optional.
@sonicmeerkat when you give a great game a 1/10 for one issue, then yes, it's review bombing. If you give it a 6/10, then it's not. It's one thing to point out something annoying about the game and a whole different thing to give it the lowest score possible.
@Dobbos zero motion sickness. Just to give you some context, games in which you have to walk give me migraines. Even Astro Bot gave me motion sickness. But on rails shooters, like Pistol Whip, and Beat the Beats never did.
Rhythm games on PSVR2 are the absolute best. Beat Saber has become one of my most played games, Pistol Whip is incredibly satisfying and I just lost a kilo of sweat playing Beat the Beats. Synth Riders is also great.
Needless to say, I'm really looking forward to this one
@Flaming_Kaiser Oh, I definitely agree with that. I just don't think that it's games like Sly Cooper that made Sony big. They definitely helped to some extent, but not nearly as much as games like Uncharted.
Didn't several games report that they reached that figure after a month or less? Games that got way less attention than Stellar Blade. Like Lies of Pie or Lords of the Fallen.
@ATaco These games didn't sell particularly well. As opposed to the success to Uncharted, God of War, The Last of Us, Gran Turismo, Spider-man and some other ones.
It's also worth keeping in mind that the data come from a niche part of ps4/5 owners.

Re: Preview: Ignore The Haters, Concord Is a Good PS5 Shooter We Can't Wait to Play More Of
@Lup yes, because all the first party games are defended by push square staff and people commenting here.
R.I.P., facts.

Re: Preview: Ignore The Haters, Concord Is a Good PS5 Shooter We Can't Wait to Play More Of
@DennisReynolds I see this argument all the time, yet plenty of first party games haven't received good scores here. It's like selective memory.

Re: Re-Enactment Group Not Satisfied with Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Shadows Flag Apology
Ah, yes. Internet rage over important matters. Makes sense.
Re: Forgotten PS2 Launch RPG Summoner Resurrected for PS5, PS4
@WiiWareWave see I don't mind games like Super Mario Bros (2 or 3), but games from the ps1 and ps2 generations look really ugly to me.
Re: Nudity Confirmed for Dragon Age: The Veilguard: 'This is a Mature RPG'
@PuppetMaster lolZ. Sure, buddy.

Re: Poland's Prime Minister Lidia Sobieska Appeals for Four More Years in Tekken 8 on PS5
@KahnArtizt07 that would be hilarious to watch. A lot like Mr. Satan from Dragon Ball fighting against pretty much anyone.
Re: Forgotten PS2 Launch RPG Summoner Resurrected for PS5, PS4
Loved it when I played it back in the day, but I'm sure it's too outdated now to enjoy.
Re: PS Stars Is Back Online in Europe, Asia, Australia So Far
@ChrisDeku same here (UK account).
Edit: it's finally working (on ios). Didn't reinstall it or anything.
Re: Bleach: Rebirth of Souls Announced for PS5, PS4, and Yes, It's an Arena Fighter
At this point, I'll take any Bleach content. The ps3 game was pretty great. Was hoping for something similar to that, but alas. Still I'm excited

@AhmadSumadi just internet things
Re: Remain Chill, Playable Mrs. Freeze Will Soon Join Suicide Squad's Rogues' Gallery

@Ilyn I always wonder when it comes to such reviews if they mean it or just want attention/trying to be funny.

Re: UK Sales Charts: Elden Ring Appears in the Top 10 Not Once But Twice
@Faruko not really. Nintendo games tend to do particularly well when it comes to physical copies.
Re: The Obligatory Helldivers 2 Isn't As Popular As It Was Headlines Have Started to Emerge
@riceNpea I have the same pet peeve. I've tried to correct them several times in the past, but it got nowhere, so eventually I gave up.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 535
My ps premium subscription is ending soon, so I need to find a game to play and beat before that happens. Decisions, decisions...
Re: Metal: Hellsinger VR Brings Its Heavy Rhythm Action to PSVR2 This Fall
@WhiteRabbit same here! It's hard to imagine anyone not liking it. Especially considering the variety of levels

@Maubari there is something hilarious here alright.

Re: Dr Disrespect Admits Messages to Minor 'Leaned Too Much in the Direction' of Impropriety
@Monstermash40 I've seen that clip and he's absolutely right (esp. the last part)
Re: Dr Disrespect Admits Messages to Minor 'Leaned Too Much in the Direction' of Impropriety
Why anyone pays attention to such people is truly beyond me. Same with famous actors, singers, etc.
Re: PS5 Fan Favourite Stellar Blade Sold Over 1 Million Copies, Dev Estimates
@UltimateOtaku91 yeah, I very much doubt it sold much on ps4 and the xboxes.
Re: PS5 Fan Favourite Stellar Blade Sold Over 1 Million Copies, Dev Estimates
@trev666 it depends on the budget. I think it's actually pretty good. Just not as great as we thought.
Re: Rumour: Sony's Still Working on PS3 Emulation for PS5
I have hundreds of ps3 that I'm hoping to play one day. Maybe on ps6. I don't mind. I can wait.
Re: PS5 Fan Favourite Stellar Blade Sold Over 1 Million Copies, Dev Estimates
@Bettyswollocks not really. Not everything that launches on xbx1 and PC automatically performs better.

@ThorsHammer I see PSVR2, I press like
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 534
@breakneck haha. It's one of the things I don't mind, but the combat so far leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe it gets better...
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 534
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin
Can't say I'm loving it, though :/
Re: Sony Is Allegedly Pulling PSVR2 Funding, Report Claims
@Slippship I get the impression that they were making at least some PSVR2 games, but they didn't turn out great and had them cancelled.
Re: Sony Is Allegedly Pulling PSVR2 Funding, Report Claims
The criticism is definitely valid, but I'm still greatly enjoying mine. So many third party games that are simply brilliant.
Re: Square Enix's Forgotten PS1 Fighting Force Franchise Beats the Count on PS5, PS4
Another one that has a very, very special place in my heart.
I played it to death when I was young and vividly remember a male character having 300+ IQ (which made me believe that it went that high...)
Re: Classic PS1 Platformer Tomba! 2 Will Follow the First Game to PS5, PS4
My heart can only take so much! Once again, this is a dream come true (last time was when it was available on psvita).
