I've finished the game twice and I'm just going to mop up remaining trophies for the platinum now on my main account. Looking forward to an expansion some time.
@Ravix I bumped into Tim Roth just strolling around Battahl and his eyes were wildly glowing red. Poor Tim got the plague.
Edit* Just got the platinum. I've done everything and now I'm a bit sad. Fantastic game.
I played this on Series S with FPS boost a while back. It looked crisp and was super smooth, even in downtown Boston with many vertibirds exploding out of the sky.
A shame because I really enjoyed Legion. Picked a favourite agent (Clan Kelly cockney girl) and just played almost the entire game with her as the protagonist. Ya get me cuz?
My pawn once had red glowing eyes and kept clutching her head. I wanted to see what happened but it was killing me that she wasn't herself so in the Brine she went.
Reducing the frequency of pawns offering to be hired while in the field
Yes finally! I no longer have to swerve them if I see them coming up the road 😄
I actually disliked Astarion when you first meet him in the game and never had him in my party for a while but he grew on me at camp. I messed up the end of his story quest which made him leave so I had to reload and do it again. Neil Newbon's acting in those scenes is outstanding.
I felt stupidly overpowered on new game plus so I started again on an alt account. The game is still amazing, especially in a life or death fight with a huge beastie at early levels.
@DennisReynolds Finally, somebody said it! It always puzzles me when I see people say it's one of the best performances ever. I honestly thought that Clive was a bore.
I really really dislike the term 'souls like'. I could be reading an article about a new promising sounding game but as soon as 'souls like' is mentioned, I lose all interest.
I'm currently a good few hours into new game plus and I've picked up quite a few quests that I must have missed in my first playthrough. I thought that I was thorough too.
I would love an expansion with new areas, enemies, vocations, treasure chests and of course lots of those gorgeous armour and weapon sets.
89 hours deep and still loving it. I've just been scrapping with a giant golem whilst wolves were running amok, then some goblins decided to join the fray before a griffon swooped down on all of us. Finished them all off and dapped all my pawns. Absolute bedlam and utterly fantastic.
I had a quick go. I like the strangely serene vibe of wandering around a ruined city - loved that about Nier Automata - and the music makes it even better. Combat seems pretty decent although i don't like the scream that Eve makes on a heavy attack. I'll most likely enjoy this when I pick it up cheap in a sale sometime.
I've put around 40 odd hours into it and I've only just passed through the gate into Battahl. The views across the valley here are stunning! Absolutely loving the game myself.
I really enjoy Ubisoft open world games. Sure, they don't do anything new and are mostly full of optional collection checklists but they're just a comfort zone I'm happy to spend hours in.
I don't get why people get so riled up by live service games. If you're not into them, then just don't buy them. There have been plenty of amazing single player games over the past 12 months.

Re: Hands On: Fallout 4 Next-Gen Runs Great on PS5, But Some Old Problems Persist
Playing it and enjoying it all over again. Love turning Nora into a revenge driven kick arse widow.
Re: Dragon's Dogma 2 Success Means Capcom Shareholders Get a Bump
Loved the game. One of the most enjoyable ever to grace my PS5. Here's hoping for an expansion.
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Fallout 4's Next-Gen Version?

No jiggly baps on Isaac.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 525
Deep into Dragon's Dogma 2 on an alt account. Different Arisen, different pawn, same amazing adventures.
Re: It Looks Like Kena: Bridge of Spirits Is Heading to New Platforms
Nice little game this and it's really quite brutal in places.
Re: Future Dragon's Dogma 2 Update Will Nerf Its Coolest Mechanic

Re: Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Heads Back to Medieval Europe on PS5
I hope Bernard returns for some combat training. He turned my Henry into a medieval ninja.
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Final Fantasy 16: The Rising Tide?
Still playing Dragon's Dogma 2 which is 10x the RPG that FFXVI is, in my opinion. I think my pawn has more personality that Jill too.

Game of Sabacc?
**Rodian bartender nods**
Re: Stellar Blade Is a Better Game Than NieR: Automata, Yoko Taro Reckons
Na. Stella Blade doesn't have Cherami Leigh in it.

Re: Feature: Push Square Readers' Top 10 PS5 Games of 2024 So Far
I still haven't finished Infinite Wealth. It's still fantastically zany but i honestly preferred the first game up to yet.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 524
Dragon's Dogma 2
I felt stupidly overpowered on new game plus so I started again on an alt account. The game is still amazing, especially in a life or death fight with a huge beastie at early levels.

Re: Kingdom Come Dev Teases New Game Reveal for Next Week
I'll never forget that quest where Henry got wasted with a priest and pulled a tavern wench. What a guy.
Re: Fallout 4 PS5 Version Out 25th April with New Modes and Content
@pyrrhic_victory I feel the same. Mute protagonists have no personality whatsoever.
Re: Fallout 4 PS5 Version Out 25th April with New Modes and Content
I'm well buying this because I'm one of those rare breed who actually really enjoyed Fallout 4.
Re: Stellar Blade Director Cites Taxi Driver Strike, Retro Sci-Fi as Inspirations

Methinks it's Dragon's Dogma 2, master.

It probably is, Yoshi, I agree.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 523
Dragon's Dogma 2. 135 hours played and still loving it. Honestly, it's one of the best games I've enjoyed playing on PS5.
Re: Poll: How Much Do You Care About 60fps on PS5?
30fps. If it's a game we don't care about, we'll complain about it. It it's a game we love, we'll defend it.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 522
@Ravix Her twisting neck grin creeps me out every time. I dread giving her riddle answers.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 522
Exploring everywhere in Dragon's Dogma 2. The game excels when just going off on a jaunt.
Re: Hands On: Dragon's Dogma 2 Update Improves Frame Rate on PS5 at the Cost of Ray Tracing
I've just left it as is. Perfectly playable. Some of the vista views are absolutely gorgeous. It's a shame that the photo mode is naff.
Re: The Stellar Blade Playable Demo Is Now Available on PS5
I had a quick go. I like the strangely serene vibe of wandering around a ruined city - loved that about Nier Automata - and the music makes it even better. Combat seems pretty decent although i don't like the scream that Eve makes on a heavy attack.

Absolutely loving the game myself.
Re: PS5's Stellar Blade Isn't Out Yet, But There's Already Talk of a Sequel
Hopefully they put a bit more effort into photo mode than Capcom did with Dragon's Dogma 2.
Worst. Photo mode. Ever.

I like his cutscene when we first meet him. Immortal sod.
Re: Dragon's Dogma 2 Players Discover Working Trebuchets, Secret Areas
This game just continues to impress me. My main pawn had to tell off a hired pawn last night because she kept faffing about throwing chickens!
Re: Big Dragon's Dogma 2 Updates Incoming as Capcom Confirms List of PS5 Improvements
All these little brats nowadays. If there's a slight hiccup in performance or a few bugs then they cry that the game is broken or unplayable.
Re: Capcom Responds to Dragon's Dogma 2 Microtransaction, Performance Backlash
The game is a delight to play. I'd just like a hide helmet option please, Capcom.
