They sure as ***** could've fooled me, with that atrocious writing. I think I would prefer if they would come out and say it's AI than to think people actually wrote this thing.
I' ve played every game but since there's no physical release I didn't buy Gaiden. Maybe I'll buy the Japanese version when I go to Tokyo for Christmas.
Not playing it right now, even though I really liked the first one, still have the CE for XBOX360 from when it came out. Since there's no physical edition I won't buy the game, I'll play it for free at some point.
This is really cool. Yoshida seems to be a really down to earth dude. One could only hope this would shut up the people that go "FF16 isn't a Final Fantasy" but alas...we know how that goes.
Cannot wait for this game. Yakuza 7 was awesome and I love that they dialed the craziness up to 11, there are scenes that are so stupid that I couldn't help but laugh my butt off.
This almost makes it look like it was made by people who have absolutely no idea what Silent Hill is, and that can't be right, right? I mean the devs surely played some of the games.
"Interestingly, Sony says a horizontal stand for the PS5 comes included in the box, but goes on to say a vertical stand "compatible with all PS5 models" will be sold separately, for $29.99 / £24.99. So, out of the box, you will only be able to display the new PS5 horizontally."
@ShogunRok @LifeGirl and do not that only the console version was "crap". Played the game on PC when it came out and it was pretty great. Granted it is even better now with 2.0
Good, waste of time and resources to try to turn this into a GAaS, I honestly hope most of them just outright fail. Sucks for the devs that had to work on this though, specially if they were doing against their will, so to speak.
Netflix really going at it with these. I guess Castlevania was fun, and Arcane was really good, but most of the other animated series based on games that they released were a bit subpar. Hope these are good.
Kabukicho is the tamest it could be right now, basically a tourist attraction. This happened after the mayor decided to clean it up around 15 years ago. Before that time, it was waaaay more fun.
@Angelus3K In a way yes. The story is like in Genshin Impact, where it is divided by chapters, you finish those and it finishes that swat of the story, but more are added afterwards with new patches.
As you put it in the headline "Bayonetta Director". This guy hasn't made a good game since Bayo in 2009, so..not really fussed about him leaving. Even Platinum is kind of damaged goods at the moment, they've been more "miss" than "hit" lately.
It became one of my favourite games of all time. I had already sunk close to 90h on early access, I'm already finishing my second playthrough and will probably start a third one after.
@themightyant I couldn't put it better. I know that the aesthetics of the game and the gacha nature puts a lot of people off, but please check the soundtrack on youtube, it is fantastic.
Bought it the moment early access came out on PC. I love the old games and the Forgotten Realms. BG2 is my cozy game, where I play it every year during xmas holidays. BG3 quickly became on of my favorite games of all time. I didn't buy the PS5 version but may double-dib if a physical version is ever released.
@nessisonett Hey mate, I'm curious. Why did you like the second one less? Usually it's the other way around and BG2 is a major improvement upon the first one in all aspects.
It was really good, they showed the games they said they would show. Strong Microsoft sponsorship in the show, and nothing from Sony, which is really odd though.
Geoff already set expectations, this is going to be a really tame show, don't expect anything else besides what was already confirmed to be there. That said, looking forward to more Black Myth, usually I'm skeptic of these games from China because so far not a single one delivered, but people got hands on a few days ago and it seems there will be a demo booth at Gamescon.

Re: Silent Hill: Ascension Was Written by 'Real People', Not AI
They sure as ***** could've fooled me, with that atrocious writing.
I think I would prefer if they would come out and say it's AI than to think people actually wrote this thing.
Re: Bloober Team Says Silent Hill 2 PS5 Is Progressing Smoothly, Working to Attain the Highest Quality
The way this was phrased makes it seem like there's some tension between Blooperteam and Konami.
Re: Zenless Zone Zero Fans Are Aggrieved by Alleged Censorship in Upcoming Gacha Game
Apart from the jelly jiggle I don't see any difference, her tits look the same size.
Re: As Long as Yoko Taro Lives, the NieR Series Will Continue
Nice I guess. Automata was nice, but the first Nier was just fine.
Re: Poll: What Will Win Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2023?
@sketchturner If you think BG3 would win because of "graphics" just shows that you haven't tried or seen any videos of the game.
Re: Baldur's Gate 3 PS5 Physical Version Set to Be Announced This Week
I'm actually going to double dip.
Bought the game on PC the moment it came to early access and I'll buy the physical for PS5.
Re: Here's How PS5 Will Help You Become Na'Vi in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
Really wished this was 3rd person.
Re: A New Trails Game Will Launch in Japan Next Year as the West Continues to Catch Up
I wonder if it will still look like a PS3 game
Re: Honkai: Star Rail Exceeds 1 Million Players on PS5, Dishes Out Crucial Currency
Gatcha aside the game is really nice and it's absolutely gorgeous.
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name?
I' ve played every game but since there's no physical release I didn't buy Gaiden. Maybe I'll buy the Japanese version when I go to Tokyo for Christmas.
Re: Of Course Baldur's Gate 3 Will Be Heavily Censored in Japan
I was going to buy the physical edition while being there for Christmas but it seems I'll pass then.
Re: Sony's India Hero Project Will Reveal New PS5 Games Next Year
@Coolmusic Thanks mate, didn't know about those.
Re: Sony's India Hero Project Will Reveal New PS5 Games Next Year
This is very nice, but if I'm not mistaken we're still to see any games come out of the China Hero Project apart from F.I.S.T.
Re: Are There More Silent Hill Remakes Coming to PS5?
With Blooper team making the remake of the 2nd one and the horrible mess that is Ascension I would prefer that they wouldn't teach them at all.
Re: Thirsty Suitors (PS5) - An Authentic, Entertaining Tale of Self Discovery
Seems fun but it also seems like it was written by an AI that gathered information from Twitter posts.
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Alan Wake 2?
Not playing it right now, even though I really liked the first one, still have the CE for XBOX360 from when it came out.
Since there's no physical edition I won't buy the game, I'll play it for free at some point.

@NinjaSixx The guy who created the whole thing disagrees

Re: Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth's Mature Age Rating Description Is Hilarious
Cannot wait for this game. Yakuza 7 was awesome and I love that they dialed the craziness up to 11, there are scenes that are so stupid that I couldn't help but laugh my butt off.
Re: Silent Hill: Ascension Gets Premiere Trailer, Screaming Begins on PS5, PS4 in October
This almost makes it look like it was made by people who have absolutely no idea what Silent Hill is, and that can't be right, right? I mean the devs surely played some of the games.
Re: Interview: Learning More About Project Mugen, a New PS5, PS4 Game That Looks Too Good to Be True
Looks like Star Rail and Genshin

wow, that is some kind of bs....
Re: Lies of P DLC Under Construction, Just Like Clockwork
The game has a teaser for the DLC/Sequel after the credits, so it was kinda expected.
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Sales Top a Staggering 25 Million as Phantom Liberty Hits 3 Million in a Week

Re: One Million PS5 Users Already Eager to Play Honkai: Star Rail
Gacha part aside, it's a nice JRPG
Re: Bayonetta Director Hideki Kamiya to Leave PlatinumGames

Re: Netflix's Onimusha Anime Looks Legit Good in Action-Packed Debut Trailer
3d...I'm out. This looks quite bad.
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Baldur's Gate 3?
It became one of my favourite games of all time. I had already sunk close to 90h on early access, I'm already finishing my second playthrough and will probably start a third one after.
Re: Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn Is Around 20 Hours Long, Levels and Equipment Don't Carry Over
Nice, that's quite beefy. It's still odd that they release DLC for this almost after 2 years of release. Was hoping they would show us the next Tales.
Re: Final Fantasy 7 Remake Crosses the 7 Million Copies Sold Mark
It only says digitally, so how many in total?
Re: Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty's Stunning CG Trailer Sets the Stage
So this takes place after or during the game? Usually DLC during the main game feel a bit pointless to me, since we know how everything ends up.
Re: Genshin Impact's Acclaimed Composer Leaves HoYoverse to Pursue Musical Dreams
@themightyant I couldn't put it better. I know that the aesthetics of the game and the gacha nature puts a lot of people off, but please check the soundtrack on youtube, it is fantastic.
Re: Lies of P (PS5) - No Fibs Found in This Souls-Like Great
@LiamCroft Hi Liam, how's the dodge in the main game? In the demo it felt really bad compared to FromSoft's games or even Nioh
Re: Poll: Did You Buy Baldur's Gate 3?
Bought it the moment early access came out on PC. I love the old games and the Forgotten Realms. BG2 is my cozy game, where I play it every year during xmas holidays. BG3 quickly became on of my favorite games of all time.

Re: PS Plus Essential, Extra, Premium Price Increases Announced by Sony
20 euros for essential?! These guys been hitting the pipe.
I've been without PS Plus for almost 4 months now and I guess it will continue.
Re: Despite Being on PS Plus Extra, Sea of Stars Tops 100k Sales in One Day
I'm waiting for the Iam8bit physical release. Will get it then if I can nab a copy.
Re: Kiryu Was Always Meant to Return in Like a Dragon 8, Dev Claims
This is why he should've died in 6, instead of the cheap fakeout. It would've been way more powerful.
Re: Poll: Was Gamescom Opening Night Live Any Good?
It was really good, they showed the games they said they would show.
Strong Microsoft sponsorship in the show, and nothing from Sony, which is really odd though.
Re: Anticipated Indie RPG Sea of Stars Releases Physical Edition Early Next Year
How widespread are these releases? It will probably only be a couple thousand copies no? And nothing in Europe.
Re: Poll: What PS5 Game Do You Most Want to See at Gamescom Opening Night Live?
Geoff already set expectations, this is going to be a really tame show, don't expect anything else besides what was already confirmed to be there.

Re: Like a Dragon Gaiden Looks Awesome, Includes Trial Version of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
No physical version sucks. I'll probably wait until they release one, or just import the asian version.
Re: Meet Bunny, The First Descendant's Fastest Combatant on PS5, PS4
I played the beta and it was fine... It's one of those that will probably only be popular in the asian market.
Re: Gamescom Opening Night Live Less About Announcements, More About Big Updates
Was it ever about big announcements? can't recall the last big announcement they did at ONL
Re: Scintillating PS5 RPG Black Myth: Wukong Will Allegedly Feature Heavily at Gamescom
@Blacksmith1985 Their last trailer said "Summer 2024" not August, but it's still a cool window.
