This update has broken online. Multiple users reporting errors. Games think they don’t have plus when trying play but they do. Basically all online play is broken which requires plus on PS5. Not sure if PS4 also

8 for me. I’m disappointed in lack of next-gen features. Feels like I’m playing a PS4 game (although a very good one). Had a taste of what next-gen souls game could be with Demon’s Souls but that lacked some features as well. Might be why Elden Ring is cheaper than most PS5 games?

Also disappointed with repeat boss fights. Especially when just doing the side content. Must faced Ulcerated Tree Spirit in at least 6 locations now and it’s got graphic glitches each time and bugged out on me twice. Where the boss would just stop fighting. Most sides bosses are pretty boring and simple to beat to be honest and repeat across the map. The good side ones are the ones that trigger trophies or are part of quest lines.

Everything else love about game. Main bosses are great and good challenge. Plenty option on how tackle fight and much easier to change build. Despite open world still pretty easy to summon or join other players. Music always great and environments as well. Environment’s could been pushed more though

@LiamCroft is the day one patch available yet?

Just wondering if the issues are prior to this release. I saw DF post they arent doing analysis video until after the patch

This game really needs a new game plus.

Id like to start again with my existing character, inventory , gear etc instead of fresh new save

I'm sure this happened during the live gameplay part of the stream but they quickly turned the camera away when it happened

I also noticed Traffic still just sits behind parked cars instead of driving around. At least there was more on the road now. After patches, the PS4 version had too many dead roads.

This is most likely to help the deal pass

Also games like Call of Duty make money from Add on content / DLC / Micro-transactions etc whatever people want to call it. Subscriptions and retail sales (even if they all come to PlayStation) barely make any money in comparison.
So they want these games on as many platforms as possible to make as much money from them.

I also think we will start seeing PlayStation's multiplayer games added on day one to PC for the same reason.

More and more multiplayer games will see this type of paid content added and PlayStation will follow. The rare instances of earning additional content in games through gameplay (Like Ghost Of Tsushima Legends) will become even rarer.

Looks like history is repeating itself with another cancelled Battlefront 3.

Sometimes the leaks are hours before the official post. I've followed him since the first post he made about Plus ha.

Also just to note @ShogunRok there is a surprise of 12 games leaving PS Now next week instead of just GTA 3. EA is removing 7 PS3 games which I think were Codemasters.

Then Undertale, GhostRunner, Hotline Miami 2 and totally Reliable Delivery Service are also leaving with GTA 3.

It’s just Call of Duty bunch IPs they haven’t done something with but Microsoft might. And Spyro and Crash.

I can live with that, after years buying cod annually. I stopped couple years ago after getting bored them. Not played one since. Curious to see what the studios made up of ex cod, halo,destiny , Mass effect etc devs will come up with. Might bring life back into FPS for me as right now non interest me.

@Chaosbros oh yes not knocking it at all. It was probably just £30 tbh I’ve never spent over £40 on Plus I buy it in deals on bulk. I’m been harsh just because I haven’t played them yet, that only reason said it’s okay.

I only played 1 of the games I claimed (ignoring the ones I own already)

I have about 10? that I claimed that I will play eventually. I played a lot more from PS Now this year instead.

I rated it okay. It gave me good selection to play I just haven’t found the time for them yet.

Can’t really pick a month as not played enough of them to vote for one

Horizon Zero Dawn on 31% Given to everyone during Play At Home, on PS now and I think it was once a Plus Game? (play at home probably lowered this one a lot)

Uncharted 4 35 % on PS Plus Collection - This one surprised me, expected higher

God Of War 49% on PS plus Collection and on PS Now

Quick glance at trophies , about 25% completed Days Gone Story vs Ghost Of Tsushima (PS4 only) which is at 50%

(That’s what my trophy list says anyway)

Ghost Of Tsushima was received well critically. Days Gone wasn’t.

So PlayStation reason must be one of the two or both. I was really looking forward to a sequel as well, was gutted when news broke it was cancelled.

Both are great games for me and both should be getting a sequel

Warframe has PS5 version and still getting regular updates

@theheadofabroom yes I’ve been following the fan project for years, TimeSplitters Rewind, but that’s pc only and still looks long way away.

So hoping we get a console remaster from Free Radical Design. I actually saw FRD PS2 dev kit in a museum yesterday which was pretty cool ha!

My predictions:
Free Radical Design announce TimeSplitters Trilogy Remastered

A First Party PS5 exclusive game to be announced for 2022 (don’t know who or what but we currently don’t have one)

Ratchet and Clank is 20 years old in November. Original Trilogy Remastered or a new shorter game like Quests for Booty will launch in November.

Project Spartacus will launch in April 22 for PlayStation, PC, Mobile and Sony TV’s

This was one of the 34 Easter Eggs in the Play Has No Limits advert. A wall was covered in posters of this costume

Third tier sound like it’s has some plus benefits from PS3 days returning. (Demos and ps once classics etc) which is good to me

I think it will be plus game eventually but it would be better if multiplayer was out before and creators had time to tweak their games for multiplayer

I’m tempted to try out these new tools. I did manage to make my own platformer , with menu, level select etc but it was far from polished.

I gave up trying to create more as I felt I hit a wall but these tools might help. I just need to find the time to revisit it.

@Americansamurai1 what would you want to see on a PS5 version?

Personally all I want from this game is multiplayer and increase the thermostat but then would levels becomes unplayable on PS4 and split the community if they did that ? (Not sure fully how they would work)

@harchibald hopefully they add multiplayer then include it as plus game once a selection of mp levels are available

This was the game I was going to miss in Feb and get later with Elden Ring and Horizon been my Feb purchases. Looks like I can get all 3 in Feb again. Can’t wait to play them all

I hope Dreams gets a multiplayer update in 2022. I was hoping we’d see it release this year.

I’d just love to play through tons short coop games online and try projects like this out as well.

Just to add to the issues.

You also can’t get the Platinum on Vice City. Just looked at trophy list and no one has it because the godfather rank trophy doesn’t work.

I first played the game when it was remastered on PS4 and was really enjoying the game at first.

I then encountered a game breaking progress bug that repeated regardless of which save I used. So I had to start again. I then discovered this was a known bug in the original game so was left annoyed that it hadn't been fixed as part of the original game or remaster.

Then when I managed to get through the main quest line the Thieves Guild bugged out on me but luckily I had more saves this time, one of which worked.

I think if I wasn't getting issues playing this game it would be much higher rated but because the issues I had I just found the game good. It also felt a bit dated for a newcomer

I’d love to see this come to next gen but just remaster the story and forget about the online please 🙏

It’s confusing why some titles do and don’t get these upgrades.

@Bleachedsmiles I’ve not played a ps plus game for months tbh. There is some that I have claimed and will eventually play.

Ps now though has lot games I still want to play through. I might not even get Battlefield now because I’m unsure about it and will happily play Mafia instead. I haven’t played that one out of the 3

Asking question like this now doesn’t sound like a game launching in a few weeks to me…I’m expecting a delay.

I was really surprised to see how much was removed / missing or whatever it is vs previous battlefield games.

No because we already have two other Marvel games not by PS Studio coming out and probably few more yet to be announced.

I understand the digital copy but not when a steel book is included with it.

What if someone wanted Horizon Collectors edition but owns a PS5 digital.

Really should be two versions of that a physical and a digital one. Just remove the steel case and make it slightly cheaper for the digital

It was good to get a date for SIFU and Horizon and I enjoyed the Death Stranding breakdown along with the Lego Star Wars and Lost Judgment trailers.

So was an ok show for me

It should be so easy to set up automatic reporting which will collect the sales numbers and email it to the relevant people. Strictly for the Digital stuff anyway..

I can’t understand why this would take over a month to report. The size of studio shouldn’t effect time required to fetch the data either. It could be done in one big go for all studios.

@BoldAndBrash absolutely I’d love them to also work on their own game but they have a catalogue of so many great games they could bring back to life.

9 for me it’s a great game but I think it was missing a few key characters that should have been included in the story and although the return of arena was welcome it was the most boring one for me

I can’t really fault much else with it

Hope they add cross play for legends mode.

I hope PlayStation find a way to make it more accessible to improve PS4 games on PS5 for developers.

I think that’s it’s weakest point personally.
