My one disappointment about PS4 is lack of Ratchet and Clank games , they’ve big guilty pleasure of mine so hoping for more on PS5. So hope to see 2/3 this time round

Loading times and companion AI are the two things that need serious work in my opinion

I’m actually disappointed in the Outer worlds personally and I guess this can link in a bit with the article about tedious trophies from the other day.
I must admit I played on Supernova first which probably spoiled the experience for me as it’s very tedious to play. I always like to play on the highest difficulty first though.

It felt like 1/2 my time playing was to direct companions away from fights to keep them alive because they are literally useless , even if you give them really good gear and command them correctly they go down so easy then I had to load a checkpoint back up from probably 10/20 minutes ago to get them back. The eating , drinking sleeping mechanics and then lack of fast travel added to the frustration as you would have to fast travel back to the ship to sleep to then run across the map again back to where you was. The loading times then added to the frustration of all this... it’s got awful loading times.
The story is good though if can get through all this and the game play is okay but I just think this game is getting more praise just because of how bad fallout is.

Would you have ever gone back to these trophies if the servers weren’t going to be turned off ?

I personally did this with ratchet and clank games but I don’t think I will have gone for them otherwise

I don’t know what it was but resistance multiplayer was the solidest multiplayer I ever played. I dont have the best Internet but never lagged never had connection issues nothing and I just remember that strongly about these games.

It would be ludicrous if they did cancel the contract.

As for movie side we could now see the Venom and Spider-Man movies coming together , every cloud

Personally I think they are doing this to keep the cost of PS5 down , they need to make the money elsewhere but when PS5 launches I’d expect we would get 4 again

I worry that with games no longer selling at launch for £40 etc then less money will be made so less invested in developers

@youreyesonly00 You don’t understand what I mean clearly , MGS 5 isn’t just a stealth game , the formula changed and lost its stealth magic for me in doing so. The gameplay was good but I had more fun trying not to be stealthy so to me it wasn’t a stealth game because I played it my way with the other options it let you. Hence my original message I haven’t played a good stealth game on this generation because MGS 5 wasn’t what I expected it to be but I enjoyed it another way.

@youreyesonly00 Metal Gear Solid 5 - an unfinished game lacking in any good stealth missions playing in same areas over an over and nothing like a true MGS game. I spent lot time playing still but it just didn’t do it for me compared to the others. Good game but I don’t consider it a good stealth game.

I haven’t tried dishonered I’ll be honest so thats one I may need look at

I’d thought it be around $450 personally which I think is still a good price

If people hadn’t been made to work on this under poor conditions from what I have read this would have been laughable but this is just really tragic and I feel for people who worked on this and clearly didn’t get the right support , time or anything from the higher ups

I adored the Modern Warfare series on PS3. I would like this to be just as good.That’s when shooters where at there best for me , this generation has been so hit and miss but I’m thankful for that as I have branched out and tried so many other games I may never even have considered before.

I could be wrong but haven’t multiple people said this Thursday they are announcing updates on there games , why would they all be Thursday if it wasn’t this

I can understand Sony doing this personally there was a leak in the place I work and they had to announce plans of making redundancies a month earlier than planned due to media finding out. The higher ups at PlayStation will have definitely known.

I’m really enjoying Dreams can’t wait to see what full games will be built on this. Those bashing the content haven’t clearly looked at some of the WIP projects people are working on. You don’t make full game in a week 😂

I made my first “playable” game this weekend but it’s just a very short platformer called “The adventures of Gingy” if anyone wants to play it please do ! No one has beat my score for it yet 😜

I appreciate this isn’t amazing but for a total amateur I’m super happy with it!

There is a lot of good ideas in this but most of it I really don’t care about. I’m just impressed with technology.

As for streaming only , I can barely watch Netflix so it’s a no from me. The option for downloading or physically owning a game is a must for me and always will be. I’ll be gutted if that ever ends.

I legit thought the enemies who put rc cars down could hack them to make them go away or something 😅 good to know this is a bug now 😂🙈

Never was interested in this game just nothing stood out for me not sure why , warned my friend from buying it after reading plenty previews , they went ahead and got it and was so disappointed

@Knuckles-Fajita or the context is MM is building something unique and one of a kind here which if at full release went wrong could be a disaster after years hard work.

I also voted against early access on that poll but after playing dreams and realising the magnitude of what they are trying to achieve this is 100% the right choice and I will happily pay to access this early to make sure when fully released the full experience runs smoothly.

I actually tried remaking Mexican Mission and Siberia in Dreams beta this is how much I want Timesplitters , I really hope they do something with the IP

PS3 era was so strong for Insomniac all Ratchet and Clank games and then Resistance too.

It’s great to see them expanding over past few years but do wish there was more Ratchet or even Resistance this gen.

They’re still doing fantastic job though as always , guess i’m just bittersweet

For anyone curious about what someone with no experience can make on dreams this is what I managed to build.

Added trees music and mountains made by others rest I made. It needs a lot of work and someone who knows what there doing could improve this so much more but it was relatively easy to make what I did do just time consuming

I’m in the beta and some of stuff people are making is ridiculous, i’m trying to create a little FPS map and created most the stuff myself but it’s no where near as good as other people’s stuff 😂. When I start struggling I take break by looking / playing other people’s stuff.

Fallout on there and no Hitman.. sad times

I bought the early edition despite not having time to play it because I really want to support this game. I absolutely love Hitman games. Managed to do most of first two levels so will make my way to the 3rd in next few days.

I still remember him stoned struggling to manoeuvre in a Trench whilst on a BF1 live stream at E3 😂 and the live stream commentary made it funnier.
So this isn’t the strangest thing I’ve seen with him gaming wise.

I feel the economy is a bit broke in this game. Someone said to me you will struggle for coins so I looted everything everywhere for 2 chapters but then after a certain mission I just had way too much money which didn’t make sense to the story.
Still absolutely love game though it the only thing that “bugged me”
