This is the game that is most making me want a PS5 at the moment. I can hold off for now, but as soon as another must-have game comes out on it I won't be able to resist!
Yeah this is very weird, it's either a very basic oversight or an active decision to be anti-user friendly when the infrastructure is clearly there. I'm used to these sorts of things being a lifelong nintendo fan, but it doesn't make them any less frustrating!
For anyone who hasn't played Celeste - this game is an absolute masterpiece and worth any price it's given, at 6 quid it's a steal! Get it!
I've been interested in many of those games: Obra Dinn, Kentucky Route Zero, Tetris Effect and Spelunky 2, but I'm a bit short on money at the moment so will have to resist the temptation!
@OneManDroid I'm holding out for this too, but we need to remember that if they did implement it, then you'd only be able to use it with the PS4 version. So on the PS5, you'd have to use it via backwards compatibility. Which is a bit of a shame tbh
Started playing Sekiro last week and am absolutely loving it. Combat is incredibly tight and exciting, and it's just such a satisfying game to play. I just beat the blazing bull and am in Ashina Castle, so still quite early on, but I'm having a blast. I'm absolutely going to get Bloodborne after I've finished this!
Wow this looks so good! I can't afford a PS5 at launch as I'm just a poor student, but as soon as I have enough money saved up I'm getting one, and this is the first game I'm going to get with it. Just looks incredible
I seem to be one of the few people who thought Holland looked great as young Drake in the promo photo a few days back, and Wahlberg looks alright here too, but like you said, the accent is the worrying part! I'm getting more confidence about this movie though, which is worrying considering the horrific track record of video game movies!
Anything PS5 related reaching the top of trending is insane, and this is just the reveal of the user interface! I still wish sony would be more communicative - long gaps of silence are always frustrating, but results like this make me think they might know what they're doing!
Still playing astrobot on PSVR, and it still brings me an unbelievable amount of joy. I'm on world 4 currently, but keep on swapping between doing a few levels and then doing a few challenges to keep things fresh! Can't wait to see what the rest of the game has in store for me!
Besides that, I bought crypt of the necrodancer and mark of the ninja for £2 each on a sale, and I'm enjoying both of them, but neither are blowing me away, probably just not my sorts of games!
I recently bought Astrobot on PSVR, and whilst I haven't had a lot of time to play games lately, the small amount of this game that I've played I have LOVED. I just finished world 2, and the minecart level made my jaw drop the entire way through. The game looks gorgeous, is so inventive, plays so well and gives me the most 'pure joy' I've had from any game in a longgg time!
As much as I love Nintendo, they deserve all the flack they're getting for these Mario releases. But what's sad is that everyone, including me, will buy them because they want nostalgia or to experience them for the first time (I'm the latter). N sane trilogy and reignited trilogy have FAR more work put into them, and were released at a much cheaper price than the mario 3d all stars. Nintendo really put in the minimum amount of effort this time
@BowTiesAreCool I've just invested in a good pair of headphones because the earphones that come with the VR headset were terrible! Can't wait to try them out!
The single player campaign really interests me, but all of the post-game stuff looks horrendous. I think I'll get it when the price has been slashed a bit
I finished the Last of us Part 2 late last night, and it was phenomenal. Loved every second of it, and I won't be able to stop thinking about its story for months. Because of that, I'm not really in the mood to play any games, so will either read or watch television and just let this game sink in!
@OMG_Waffles I think I might go for it, I've heard nothing but amazing things about it! I'm tossing between it and Resident Evil 4 though, I've always wanted to try 4 just because it's been a classic for so long!
Shame about RE 3 remake, but I've got enough resident evil games to keep me preoccupied before the price goes down!
@Jaxx420 I finally jumped on it a couple of months ago, and it's the best gaming purchase I've made in a long time. It's been said a hundred times by now, but it really does have to be experienced to understand how amazing it is! You won't regret it!
This is going to be the next game I buy on PSVR, I've only heard good things about it! Surprised you guys haven't reviewed it at all, any plans for a review at any point?
I played this a couple of months ago in VR. My first VR game, first resident evil game (first horror game full stop actually!) and I was going in completely blind. I completely fell in love with this game. The VR was so immersive, I was absolutely terrified, but even then I just found this game to be an absolute joy to play, and is my favourite game I've played this year! I'm now considering getting a few more resident evil games and trying them out!
I finally started playing the last of us part 2 yesterday, and planned to play just for an hour. And accidentally played 5 hours. I'm absolutely loving this game so far, and I can't wait to play more!
I finished off Resident Evil 7 last night on VR, which was absolutely phenomenal, I had no idea I was going to adore it as much as I did! Best game I've played this year for sure.
I just invested in some move controllers to go with my PSVR, so I tested them out with London Heist and was blown away! I got them with Iron Man VR, which I'm going to start at some point today - I can't wait!
@OneManDroid Did you get the true ending of Ritual of the Night? There's an "ending" halfway through that does just "end", but there's a lot more to the true ending and definitely felt like a satisfactory conclusion to me
I just think, with every new entry, they're steadily going to lose more and more members of the fanbase. I haven't played a Kingdom Hearts game, although my brother has played them all, and from what I understand, KH3 was meant to be the definitive and ultimate conclusion to all of the games so far, but now they're just continuing it, making it more and more confusing. It's completely daunting to me, since I have limited time and don't want to have to play 14 different main title games, spin offs and mobile games to even understand the plot. I feel like a soft reboot is sorely needed
I've invested in a PSVR, and still absolutely blown away by it. I started playing Resident Evil 7 on it yesterday, which is not only my first resident evil game, but my first horror video game, and I'm experiencing it all in VR! It's an absolutely terrifying experience so far, but really incredible, I can't wait to play more!
It's a tricky balancing act between pushing forward and not abandoning your old console's player base overnight. I'm more on Sony's side here, as I think if they commit to next gen exclusives they'll be far more impressive and catch people's attention a lot more than the half-step Xbox seems to be doing. It'll be interesting to see if this sways people to switch to xbox/playstation though.
@No_Cartridge Yeah, it doesn't sound like it's going to be for me - games as a service do nothing for me, and I find it frequently to be an excuse to release games lacking in any meaningful content. It's such a shame, because I love marvel, and if they made a cinematic game like some of Sony's exclusives e.g. God of War, this could've been a masterpiece. As it stands, I think I'm going to give this a miss
This should be one of the most hyped up games of the past 5 years considering how many people love Marvel at the moment, but it feels like no one can care less. This could still be amazing, but everything I hear about it just makes me groan. Maybe they'll change my opinion around with this though!
Great article, really enjoyed reading it! I love seeing all the backstage stuff for E3. Despite it dying down these past few years, it used to be so incredible, it was the most hyped up event on the year, and seeing all the work that goes into that is awesome!
I'm very tempted to replay this in time for the sequel - just reading the beginning of this article has made me remember the huge number of great moments in this game
I've decided I'm going to give this a go, and none of the negative reviews are swaying me in the slightest. I might not enjoy it, but Platinum games always seem to make quality experiences imo!

@SoulChimera I'm really enjoying it, if it keeps up on being this good it'll be my game of the year easily!

7/15, but nearly all of them were guesses except for Knack and Marvel Ultimate Alliance!

Re: Mini Review: The Walking Dead Onslaught - One for the Undead Fans
@LiamCroft Shame! Both for us and for you guys having to play the worse walking dead game on PSVR!
Re: Mini Review: The Walking Dead Onslaught - One for the Undead Fans
Surprised we never got a review for Saints and Sinners! Could that be coming soon or has the time passed?
Re: That PS5 Placeholder Box Art Turned Out to Be the Real Thing
Not a huge fan of the Demon's souls one - it's far too busy for my liking. Ah well, the game inside is what matters at the end of the day!

@Col_McCafferty ooh that sounds very interesting, I'll give that a listen later!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 337
@Col_McCafferty I can't stop listening to the soundtrack, I've had it on repeat since finishing the game, it's so good!
