I'm gonna have to agree with the Sense controller issues. I prefer playing Tetris with a D-PAD, but by far that is my ONLY issue and an adjustment i'm willing to make for this great game.
Team Ninja must have alot of employees. I feel like they always have something new out. Happy to see they hit the mark with this one. I will definitely check this out.
Day 1 purchase. I'm excited for this game as I think Final Fantasy is in desperate need for a refresh. Every game after FFX has had a fragmented fanbase with XII, XIII, and XV getting some things right, but overall being inconsistent.
For all the hate it gets i think XIII had a really good turn based system. I think its fine that they leave it behind bc we can get that fix elsewhere like Octopath, I Am Setsuna type games.
I had a wild experience with this game. I realized I was actually terrible at it without VR. I completed the game and all, but with low scores. With PSVR 2, I S-Ranked the entire first stage and all its levels in one try. Looking forward to playing this some more.
I had no issues. You just have to adjust visual settings everytime u wear it unless you magically adjust the headset the same way everytime. If you're eyes aren't 1 foot apart, this has to be pure laziness.
@Arnna Very true. I remember alot of twin stick shooters getting 6, 6.5, or 7...and while i think those score were fair (didn't push the medium forward), it clearly doesn't represent fun factor.
I'm having alot of fun with this game, but I think a 7/10 is a VERY fair score that I can agree with. I'd say this is 1 notch above a "tech demo" as there is alot of content on here.
I feel the storytelling is surprisingly good for a VR spinoff. While the gameplay loop itself is kind of paced awkwardly, i do enjoy the climbing (admittedly it won't be for everyone), combat & exploration.
I've upgraded quite a few PS4 games that I got with PS+ subscription (Dead by Daylight for example). Admittedly that was earlier in the PS5 cycle, but there's a chance.
I would be more open to this if Microsoft was a competent gaming publisher, but they have proven time & time again that they don't know how to manage or innovate their stable of IP's.

Re: Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge - Enhanced Edition (PSVR2) - An Inconsistent Adventure
Interesting. Alot of youtubers seem to like this game. Maybe its just brand recognition? I downloaded the demo to see for myself. We'll see.
Re: Resident Evil Village (PSVR2) - An Even More Intense Version of a PS5 Great
I got DESTROYED in Hardcore mode 🤣
Re: The Legend of Dragoon (PS1) - A Flawed But Charismatic Classic
I'm happy this exists. I found 1 of the discs in my old bedroom @ mom's house. Lord knows where the other 3 are LOL.

So is this a sequel to Lords of the Fallen?
Re: Code Vein (PS4) - A Friendlier, Fashion-Conscious Japanese RPG in the Vein of Dark Souls
Played this on Gamepass a while back. I'd give it a 6/10. Its above average & serviceable. Wasn't crazy about it though.
Re: Rumour: Shin Megami Tensei 5 to Be Announced for PS5, PS4 in May, But There's No Real Evidence
I hope this is true. This game has been stuck on trash hardware for too long. I own this on Switch, but it performs abysmally on there.

Re: Poll: Help Us Rank the Yakuza / Like a Dragon Games
No Yakuza Dead Souls? Its not a great game, but admittedly I had some "dumb" fun with it.
Re: Mini Review: Kayak VR: Mirage (PSVR2) - An Immersive Yet Thin Experience
Yo, I just want to say I'm very grateful for the staff covering all these PSVR 2 games.
Re: Mini Review: Thumper (PSVR2) - A Return to the Music Visualiser from Hell
I had a wild experience with this game. I realized I was actually terrible at it without VR. I completed the game and all, but with low scores. With PSVR 2, I S-Ranked the entire first stage and all its levels in one try. Looking forward to playing this some more.
Re: Poll: Help Us Rank the Yakuza / Like a Dragon Games
0/5 are the best in the series.
3 is easily the low point.
Re: Preview: Humanity Is a Surrealist Spin on Lemmings in Intriguing PS5, PS4 Demo
@Ashcrapper Definitely a must buy for PSVR2 owners. The trailer doesn't do it justice. The PSVR2 demo definitely sold me to it.
Re: Do You Want Dead Space 2 and 3 Remakes? Time to Tell EA
Dead Space 2 is the best Dead Space, so i definitely feel a REMAKE is needed to keep it technically up to par with the amazing DS1 remake
However, Dead Space 3 NEEDS a well thought out remake that isn't a 1 to 1 remake. So a reimagining if you will.
Re: PSVR2 Early Adopters Are Struggling to Find the Sweet Spot
@Mikey856 Its good that some people still read instruction manuals & follow directions 🤣 Thats how its done 👍
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Octopath Traveler 2?
@Neonix Its a good game to me, but its definitely not GREAT. I feel its a bit overrated myself.

Re: Poll: Are You Playing Octopath Traveler 2?
I'm gonna have to get this on Switch. Ill never play this if i get it on PS5.

Re: Legendary Game Designer Shinji Mikami Leaving Tango Gameworks
Wow. Not surprised. This seems to always happen at Microsoft. What is Tango without its visionary?
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Atomic Heart?
Honestly, this game look like an oddball game I would enjoy through & through. I plan on checking this out later on life.

I just tried Midnight Suns on PS+ Premium Trials & wow! Definitely buying that soon.
Re: Danganronpa Influenced Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE Could Skip PS5, PS4
Times like this i miss the PS VITA. Even if this was out on PS5, I'd get the Switch version. Playing visual novels on a big screen is just wrong.
Re: Capcom's Classic Life and Death Puzzler Ghost Trick Is Coming to PS4
As much as i prefer buying games on Playstation, i prefer a game like this on Switch for portability.
Re: Poll: What's Your Favourite God of War Ragnarok Weapon?
@Thenewguy Ha! This is a requirement on Give me GoW difficulty. Voted for the spear as well. Very versatile and fast.
Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Essential Games for February 2023?
I had MAFIA's remake for a while now. I'm excited to play Olli Ollli World. I spent alot of time with the 1st 2 Olli Olli games on PS VITA.

Re: Mafia: Definitive Edition - This Is How You Do a Remake
Its a good "fake" open world game due to its strong storytelling.
Re: Hogwarts Legacy (PS5) - A Harry Potter Dream Come True
@HeroYoshiko If only things were that simple.
Re: Actress Ella Balinska Has Seen Your PS5 Forspoken Memes, And She Ain't Fussed
She's beautiful
Also, no one cares about what those NPC's on Twitter think about anything. I'm glad she doesn't indulge in that crap.
Re: Dragon Age: Dreadwolf Gameplay Leak Shows Action Combat, Grey Warden HQ
Purist will probably cry foul as this is nothing like Origins, but this sounds pretty good so far.
