Too many retro games and ports on here. I feel these takeaway from better games of PS4 generation.

Out of these, i own none. I plan on getting Walking Dead, Star Wars & Job Simulator at some point.

@Eadgar Playstation helped evolve the franchise no doubt. Hopefully that trend continues with XVI.

Is that the PAL version's artwork? 🤣

My lady bought this for me bc she knows im nice with my hands. Also, i really don't mind the campaign being short bc it is a GOOD workout. This is a lot of fun and more "ARCADEY" than I expected.

Still on my 1st playthrough on RE4 on Hardcore. Taking much longer than expected (a good thing).

No wonder Sony is trying to get into more live service games. Makes sense from this perspective.

Its a retro system for sure. Its slow, clunky, and has miserable performance that was barely acceptable even back then. As far as games go, there's a reason games like Demon Souls, Last of Us, and Dead Space are seeing remakes. The real question should be whether gaming reached a creative ceiling that generation.

I'm loving the PSVR2 but it does lack mass appeal.

This game is charming and experimental (especially for its time), but its very primitive on the gameplay side of things. I finished it on Switch its a fun novelty kind of game but its a 6/10 for me personally.

This is Microsoft money doing the talking at this point.

After giving it some thought, I feel Resident Evil ReRemake under the RE Engine is the best possible choice.

@Beerheadgamer82 I think an accurate map marker like GTA would take away from the exploration of the game.

Awesome news. This game is growing on me. I didn't really understand the game loop until I really sat down with it and started exploring. Its clearly "Breath of the Odyssey" but its unique enough.

@Flaming_Kaiser i couldn't agree more. Imagine Returnal on PS4 🤣 The load times and haptic triggers are essential factors to that game.

Theres alot of gamers that can put up with poor performances bc they dont care about the tech specs, and they don't know what they're missing out on. Look at the debates online about not needing a PS5 (bc of its lack of true exclusives) or a "Switch Successor". Not to be condescending, but informed consumers are few and far between.

This game is much more challenging than the original. Its amazing.

I have the platinum. I'm ready. I'm kind of surprised at the price, but i'm definitely not complaining.

@Arnna I can definitely understand that. Not sure what's more daunting: Relearning Sekiro, or starting a New Game 🤣

@Arnna Sekiro is my fav. The movement/traversal, fluid combat/parry system really made it the greatest for me. Also keep in mind hack & slash games is my fav gaming genre. Kind of brought it "closer to home" so to speak.

Im not a DS2 hater tho. Really enjoyed my time with it on PS3. My biggest knock were the enemies were kind of redundant from an artstyle standpoint.

@Arnna not my favorite souls game, but i really did enjoy the DLC on there!

This game is fun & charming with some jank here and there.

@TeapotBuddha if you have a PS3, Ridge Racer 7 is the way to go. Its usually dirt cheap.

An essential PS1 game for sure.

This list is a bit overcrowded and takes away from some actual great games, but its solid nonetheless. Sifu would be my number 1.

I love SUPERMAN, but as a game, it should remain an N64 exclusive.

I'd buy a PS5 Pro day 1. If a PS5 Pro doesn't exist, I'm ok with that too.

@Bricktop33 Its coming to PS5 also. The same thing happened with Deathloop when it debuted on Xbox with new content.

This game was alot of fun. Its not for everyone, but it was definitely a top 10 game for me last year. I don't necessarily disagree with the mixed reviews, but the fun factor made up for its flaws for me personally.

FYI, this was patched recently to remove the Roomscale requirement.

I dabbled with this demo, and I thought it was chill and alot of fun. I burned so many hours accidentally on this.

Arigami was excellent, but its sequel was a complete miss. I was hoping they would bounce back and making something great though. I hope they find work ASAP.

CotM has grown on me alot. I personally would give an 8 as its loaded with content and shows the potential of PSVR2. However, I feel a 7 is fair bc even though I like the climbing, its a certainly polarizing element that I can see turning off alot of gamers. Also, Horizon has to be reviewed as a AAA game, which i feel has a different curve.

I bought this game bc I loved What the Golf and the humor/gameplay on that one. This game is a bit more "barebones" compared to What the Golf, but as a VR experience I think it lives up to my expectation. I had alot of fun with this game and I'm looking forward to more content.

I'm eyeing Before Your Eyes (pun intended), and Humanity.

This is on my Amazon wish list. I'll be purchasing this when I find the time to play it. PSVR2 has been consuming all of my game time.

Honestly, i'm more upset about the possibility of Crash being M$ mascot. Crash Bolts and Nuts anyone?

From a consumer level, I find Linear and Open World games to be incomparable. In 2023, I find Linear games to be more refreshing as there is major oversaturation with Open World games. However, we can't overlook Open World games that are executed in fun and innovative ways.
