@nessisonett listen, you're the one who came in here all negative and insisting the story is done. The story clearly isn't done if its getting two DLC's. You don't even know a single slither of information regarding it yet and you're already complaining about it. But I'm the obnoxious one 🙃 how dare I be positive for more of a game I really enjoyed!?

FFIX was my first true love with gaming when it originally arrived. I feel like a remake would bring my whole gaming history full circle and would be a hugely nostalgic and bittersweet moment for me.

@InsaneWade they've done that with VII, why would they do the same with a different game?

Yeah, but you say it like almost every game doesn't initially start with very basic combat and then grow as the game progresses. Final fantasy games of old gave you games where to begin with you would have 1/2 characters who can attack and maybe just about use heal for the first hour or so. It's nothing new at all, so in not worried.

I'll be happy with Spiderman 2, an update on FFVII: Rebirth and Stellar Blade, honestly. I pray nothing more is shown of FFXVI, as so much has been shown already and it's getting into 'Deathloop Meme' territory now.

Interested to learn what TLoU: Factions has to offer too.

If I had to throw a wildcard in and make a bold prediction, I'm going to say a reveal of the next game in the GoW universe...

@zebric21 a couple of comments on here are making me want to revisit it on PS5. I wasn't even aware it came with a 60fps mode...

@DrGonzo I wouldn't say so. Great iconic games deserve to be played through the years. Plus, how difficult would it be for modern gamers to try them out if they had to track down a snes and game cartridge to be able to try it out?

@KundaliniRising333 yeah, I hear you. The town's look absolutely stunning but I feel will be kind of wasted on an action game. While I don't mind the action route so much, I just find it weird that since the end of the PaxEast panel, they've been bringing up showing off RPG elements and there was zero ha!

In regards to how it looks, I'm torn. It all looks great to me EXCEPT from the character models. They honestly look lifeless and are really Plain Jane looking excluding Clive. And those face tattoos look AWFUL!

I did love however that the lure guy seems to be the same voice actor (or atleast sounds the same) as Maechan who tells the lure in FFX! Nice touch.

Let's be honest, Squenix is pretty much a First Party Studio at this point. This way always going to release on time and it looks delightful!

Super excited. Also important to note that when a studio isn't also having to optimize it's games for PS4 it gives them more time to make it better.

Can't see us seeing it this year. Would rather they took time to make it great anyway. Even for 2024 I'm still excited it's finally this close!

She's just dropping teasers that she's on the soundtrack for the remake at this point.

All I see is a doggo and all I hear is wonderful piano tones instantly recognizable to be from a FF title.

@Ambassador_Kong I can understand people not liking it if they were expecting and wanting a more action focused series, but saying Bella Ramsey is a bad actor is absolutely criminal.

I wasn't too pleased with the casting but Bella has been smashing it out of the park in the last few episodes!

Honestly, the only thing I really hate about this game is the voice acting, especially for your own character. It's terrible!

Devastating. She was a great actress. One of those who always seemed to pop up in the TV I was interested in. Then her appearance in The Last of Us just kinda cemented her for me as a favourite. Rest in Peace.
