Re: PS5 Brute Force Fixes Cyberpunk 2077's PS4 Technical Problems

DonJorginho

@JohnnyShoulder Exactly, aside from handful of soft crashes I've encountered nothing that has ruined my profuse enjoyment for this title, it is everything I wanted and more, I went on to play it at 7pm yesterday and by 4am this morning I didn't even notice how long I'd been playing and it all flew by, the world and it's characters, the soundtrack and the atmosphere of the game, the combat, the freedom of choice, the sidequests, the sheer magnitude of Night City. It's all so magnificent and enthralling it's all I think about atm, I feel sorry for those on base consoles experiencing inexcusable issues but I must say I feel that even on those broken versions of the game you can still sense some of that amazement this game brings.

If this is how much I adore this game now, I can't imagine how much my adoration for this game will grow once I play this with a full next gen patch or on PC.

@oldschool1987 Pipe down, happily look through my post history and you'll find plenty of me criticising them, the fact that you're labelling anyone that isn't hating on CDPR or the game as someone on their payroll literally proves my point so I thank you!

I'm on no-ones payroll and believe me CDPR have messed up with the base last gen console ports and with their shady marketing around it, I'm just saying how every single post on here, regardless of what it's about, always contains hateful comments towards CDPR and the game, it's very childish.

Re: PS5 Brute Force Fixes Cyberpunk 2077's PS4 Technical Problems

DonJorginho

Game runs like a dream on PS5, resolution could be bumped up but I've had no bugs aside from some minor animation glitches in the first few hours and some software crashes which are infrequent.

This site just keeps throwing dirt on this game whenever it can, I don't blame you for it, it generates clicks which is what you want, especially when it comes from such a enraged community of PS4 users who received a broken game on day one. Which CDPR is beginning to fix up now.

Re: Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered Adds 60FPS, Ray Tracing Option on PS5

DonJorginho

@vapidwolf The people that need to calm down are the hate brigade for this game, I'm just saying how I can't even go on a story about a completely different game without getting bombarded with hate on Cyberpunk.

It's insane how this site seems to be all together in a fight against CDPR and Cyberpunk, for what? Because it was hyped and isn't a first party Sony title? CDPR are doing all they can with this game to fix it, doesn't excuse the state it released in, but the hate is getting childish.

Re: How to Make Cyberpunk 2077 Look Better on PS5, PS4

DonJorginho

@AJDarkstar It's one of the best games I've played, like ever! They've exceeded my hype for this game.

Shame almost everyone here craps on the game, look at the latest post concerning Spider-Man Remastered, people are still bringing up the game for no reason but to diss it.

Most people spreading talk of it being "broken" haven't even played a second of it, on the PS5 it is outstanding aside from some weird TAA.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 354

DonJorginho

@xRetrox I'm talking about the relentless hate I see for this game within every subsection on this site.

The game has issues on last gen, inexcusable issues, CDPR truly messed up and should be criticised and held responsible for greedy marketing tactics which saw them lie to their loyal customer base whilst taking all their money happily, knowing that they would have a terrible experience.

I'm talking about the game itself, about people hating on the game for the game it is, I'm also talking about those playing on PS5 acting like it's broken due to a couple crashes, it is fine and not a mess.

I apologise if you thought I was gloating or seeking attention as I'm not, I just hate how quickly gaming fans turn on things, it shows how fickle they can be, that isn't aimed at last gen users though as they have been royally bent over by CDPR.

Re: How to Make Cyberpunk 2077 Look Better on PS5, PS4

DonJorginho

@AFCC All about opinions.

The driving isn't perfect but is just as good as Legion, the gunplay feels more than good enough, even better than the likes of GTA and RDR did. The side missions I've played have been great, not Witcher 3 levels but better than any Ubisoft or Bethesda sidequest. Player choice seems more than good enough as I had a completely different start to a certain mission than other playthroughs all because the choices I made.

It doesn't feel as artificial as other open world's in some ways and some of the things that are absent like haircuts, car customisation, train system and more that are baffling but they don't take away from this being an amazing game.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 354

DonJorginho

I'm playing the excellent Cyberpunk 2077, going off this site and its users you'd think it was a disaster and a game that doesn't even work on any platform that lacks any quality.

It's one of, if not the best game of 2020 and a few minor crashes on the PS5 won't sour my experience, Skyrim is a broken mess to this day yet people say it's the greatest game ever made, and I agree it's one of the best RPGs! So why does Cyberpunk get judged harshly?

I smell hypocrisy.

Re: Returnal on PS5 Will Use DualSense Features and 3D Audio to Immerse You in an Alien World

DonJorginho

@kyleforrester87 What can I say? 2020 will do things to any man.

Seriously though, this game looks interesting but screams budget title to me and doesn't seem like it's worth £70, I'm still so excited for titles like Ratchet II, Horizon II, GOW Ragnarok, Stray, Deathloop and many more first party Sony titles and timed exclusives, just Returnal doesn't scream £70 must buy top tier title.

I'm hoping this game ends up amazing and I end up buying it and adoring it.

I can wait for a sale though! Valhalla, Destiny 2, Cyberpunk, Demon's Souls, FIFA 21 (yes FIFA) and Borderlands 3 will keep me busy for a long old time!

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Launch Day Isn't Going Smoothly for Every PS4 Player

DonJorginho

@Bobskie77 you're true when you talk about it running better, but Ubisoft are about 4 times the size of staff compared to CDPR and is a smaller sized project. Night City is the best open world ever seen in terms of pure density and verticality.

Legion as a game is average compared to Cyberpunk, Watch Dogs 2 was much better, I'd say the real gem of this year for Ubisoft was AC Valhalla, now that game was great.

Fallout 4 ran like ***** due to Bethesda being the kings of bugs, and if CDPR keep going this way they'll take the crown.

CDPR shouldn't have released the game this broken, they were shady with their marketing processes and should offer refunds to PS4 and XB1 users, but I think the game is so good and for me personally has ran smoothly on my PS5, only one soft crash and a few minor funny bugs in 7 hours of play.

Re: Talking Point: Did The Game Awards 2020 Meet Your Expectations?

DonJorginho

Atrocious, I'm not one to complain about progressive stuff normally but the amount of stuff that was force fed to us was insane, I don't care about a black trans band or latinx gaming (which is a stupid name btw) I care about games!

The announcements were woeful, the biggest ones were two Bioware games and Bioware haven't been good since Mass Effect 2.

Sony dropped the ball too, telling us to tune in only to show 30 seconds of their worst launch window exclusive in Returnal.

Best part of the whole show was seeing that Disco Elysium was coming to PS5 and that we are finally getting a spiritual successor to Dead Space.

The rest was tragic seeing as Geoff kept saying it was a big announcement year, my bum cheeks it was Geoff!

Elden Ring is dead and Silent Hill/MGS projects never existed.

Re: Poll: Is Cyberpunk 2077's Poor PS4 Performance Acceptable?

DonJorginho

I'm going to choose the selfish option, as someone with a PS5 I sympathize with those on a PS4 or a XB1 but I'd be lying if I said I would've taken a stripped back game and vision if it meant the game worked on the XB1 and PS4.

This is a near next gen title in terms of ambition. I'd have hated it restricting it's potential for ancient hardware.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Launch Day Isn't Going Smoothly for Every PS4 Player

DonJorginho

Top user is a well known troll, don't see why we're seeing his tweets here.

This is a next gen game running on proper ancient tech that was outdated before it came out, people should be thankful it works! If you don't like it just wait till you get a PS5.

Besides CDPR are great at bug fixes, in a few months this should be much better.

Re: Poll: Are You Buying Cyberpunk 2077?

DonJorginho

@ApostateMage oh yeah when I'm this hyped for a title performance isn't a big issue for me! And Street Kid looks so good. I saw the start of it and it's amazing!

I'm personally gonna dedicate my first playthrough to the Nomad lifepath, just feel like for the first time playing this behemoth of a title it'll be fitting to have my entrance into Night City be a grand reveal when I enter for the first time from The Badlands.

I'm gonna go with a Male V for my first playthrough and for my second I'm thinking a ruthless Corpo playthrough as a female V.

I'll just say I've watched loads of leaked gameplay streams and it's met the hype for me! The verticality of the world is no joke and the gunplay is really good!
