apart from that? i can remember young peter getting stuck in a pipe when biking through NYC on that FNSM side mission and one wall of a building not loading for an entire cut scene so looking really bad and ruining the chance for photo mode shenanigans.

Bungie was one of the worst acquisitions ever made, buying a studio with no exclusivity incentives is bad for business and prioritising GaaS just as they seem dead and buried, and on top of that, they're now being used to judge what is and isn't good enough to be released for Sony.

It would be one thing if Bungie were any good at GaaS titles, but they're not, as someone who has sunk over 1000 hours into Destiny 2 I can confirm I am only around due to nostalgia for the first game and to keep the friendships I have made in-game, and many people feel the same. To have them judging other studios is laughable at best, they are constantly making their own massive missteps and losing players month on month, how can they decide whether a game lives or dies? Deciding whether or not years of hard work have been for nothing?

An awful decision and whoever made it needs to be removed from their post. I feel for all those ND devs.

After replaying TLOU 1 remake and part 2 back to back, the gore on show here seemed very tame.

TLOU II has a certain realistic brutality and shock factor to it's violence that no game has yet matched, every kill made me take a second to realise what I'd done.

I don't know if you've realised but apart from yourself, everyone here is talking about the GAME and the GAME alone, no-one is condoning anything from whom shall not be named, and I'm sure no-one on here ever will.

PushSquare is easily one of the safest internet forums around, you can assure the moment any conversation detracts from the game itself and becomes sour towards the LGBTQ+ community, mods will instantly take action as they should.

I got a Series X to partner my PS5 as I wanted to play old games via backwards compatibility with FPS boost, auto hdr and quick resume, none of which Sony are planning to do as they don't like legacy games.

A wait this long for what looks like God Of War 1.5 in terms of reusing assets, no major shift in graphical fidelity and it being a cross gen title.

Especially given the way Sony and SSM have handled communication this year.

It will be a sh*tshow given this was initially announced as a 2021 game and I'd be willing to bet it went through some development hell.

Sony did something similar with TLOU Remastered when TLOU II was around the corner, maybe we'll get some Ragnarok news or a standalone State Of Play date announced at this week's SoP!

Avatar is a smart move, casuals are going to lap up the sequel coming this year and it's already generating huge amounts of hype with its teaser, so why not capitalise with what seems to be a truly next gen title from a developer that will guarantee a safe and steady launch at worst.
