Re: What Would the Super League Mean for FIFA 22?

DonJorginho

@tomassi I completely get where you're coming from, I want the 50+1 rule, I want tougher restrictions on ownership laws here, all I'm saying is football would have went this way with or without Roman as someone else would have tried what he did and succeeded like he did. I just feel protective as a Chelsea fan is all mate!

And great club! Really sad that you lot couldn't carry on the great form for the first half of the season, Ralph is a top top manager.

Re: What Would the Super League Mean for FIFA 22?

DonJorginho

@tomassi Do your research buddy, it is wrong that we signed up but we were pressured to out of fear of being left behind as we literally had mere hours to either sign on with the Elite or be left behind with imminent revenue losses, I get why they did it despite not being happy with it.

Roman is one of the greatest owners for his passion for the game, yes he bought his success but what clubs don't these days? He has a passion for the game which you can see in how he runs the club, he isn't a hero for this, not at all, but he was the driving force behind the other clubs withdrawing, so I will commend him for that.

I wonder what team you support? Probably I can guess which would lead to such a butthurt response.

Re: What Would the Super League Mean for FIFA 22?

DonJorginho

Despite the disappointment of us joining the ESL in the first place, I am beyond relieved and proud of Roman for deciding to go against this unethical sport (to be fair we were given mere hours to make a decision to join this with no consultation and did it out of fear of being left behind.), by being the first to pull out he started the domino effect which has helped save Football as we know it.

Re: Reaction: Days Gone Was PS4's Black Sheep, But a Darn Good Open World Game

DonJorginho

One of the most underrated games of the last generation, whilst it wasn't perfect, what this game does right it does SO right.

It was the first open world game where achieving the platinum never felt like a chore, and although the narrative wasn't always up to the standard of the likes of God Of War and The Last Of Us Part II, the characters of Days Gone shone through and I'm sure a sequel would've provided one of the best AAA titles in Playstation's history.

No game for the a long time will make me feel as excited yet terrified when a horde of around 250+ strong came charging at me during my first playthrough of the game.

I feel for Bend not getting the chance they rightly deserved to get a sequel greenlit, but I'm sure they'll take the lessons learnt from Days Gone and be ten times better for it when developing their new title.

Re: Promising PS5 FPS Deathloop Delayed Until 14th September

DonJorginho

What a sh*tshow of a launch, to delay a game for a large amount of time a month from launch is just messy communication.

So now we are stuck with no good first party titles till June and then have to pray that Deathloop and HFW are ready by the time Q4 rolls round.

To think Deathloop was meant to come out day one for PS5 aswell, terrible communication all round, hope it turns out as good as I expect it to be.

Re: UK Sales Charts: Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales Takes Third in Slow Week for PlayStation

DonJorginho

@TrueAssassin86x That's what I mean, unless you're a global franchise like Minecraft, GTA or COD or a literal gaming icon like Mario your games won't sell long term.

Miles is selling really well and I'm glad as it is a great game! I just don't get the point bringing in the other exclusives as we know why they fall out the top ten quickly. Most people who want them buy them at launch and that is the majority of sales you'll get.

Re: UK Sales Charts: Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales Takes Third in Slow Week for PlayStation

DonJorginho

@TrueAssassin86x The reason why those exclusives you listed aren't here is because the majority are 2+ years old. You're talking about Spidey when Spider-Man 2018 isn't here, does that mean it doesn't have "legs" like you say? No it means that it is an old game, only games like Mario Kart, Minecraft or GTA V survive 4+ years on from release.

Miles Morales is a recent release and is the biggest PS5 launch game, that is why it is selling still, and if you follow the sales, the numbers of sales for Miles Morales heavily follows the same numbers of new PS5 sales in the country, for example Miles is 60% down compared to last week due to PS5 sales in the UK decreasing.

All those games you listed were great and sold like hotcakes during their release periods, your " having legs" argument makes no sense mate.

Re: Dying Light 2 Targets 2021 Launch in Poorly Thought-Out Update

DonJorginho

Liam you're completely off with this article.

Naughty Dog, CDPR or Rockstar have never come out publicly in video format like this to say they treat their staff like s*it, so why did you expect a smaller studio in Techland to do the same? If you stay silent for teams like Naughty Dog but go mad at Techland that just shows me you have a little teeny bias.

They handled the angry tweets with humour, they joke with their fanbase a lot and are very open, this was very up the alley of Techland if you've been following them like I hope a good Games journalist would do.

Could they have shown more gameplay? Yes. Could they have maybe addressed the allegations in a dream world situation? Yes. But no studios do that in this public format and for good reason, I think CDPR may have sent a statement to Jason S regarding crunch and rectifying it but that's the only high profile situation, Naughty Dog are still pretty quiet on crunch when they seem to be the second biggest offender behind CDPR within the AAA space.

I just feel like this article comes off as needlessly negative and childish, news pieces from a journalist should be unbiased, if you care so much about the lack of addressing for the mistreatment allegations then write an opinion piece on it, simple as mate.

I expect better from you as you're a talented writer when you don't allow your negativity to spill like this.

Re: Returnal Story Trailer Reveals More Roguelike Goodness

DonJorginho

I've already made my points clear on pricing so won't beat that dead horse any longer.

However I am ever so slightly concerned over how shoddy the framerate looks at times in this footage like it has in all previous trailers, hoping this month of time they have left is enough to polish things up for all day one users so they can have a great experience!

Re: Denuvo Anti-Cheat Technology Available to PS5 Developers

DonJorginho

Denuvo massively hampers the performance of games, great move Jim and the Playstation team! /s

Get ready to see Denuvo implemented in games only to be removed after 3-6 months once the sales start drying up.

Either way this is a bad move from Playstation, guess the financial incentive was too good to turn down for Jimbo.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (PS4) - The Single Biggest Disappointment of the PS4 Generation

DonJorginho

3/10 seems a bit harsh and like something you'd do to look edgy and attract clicks as that will get headlines from other sites saying "site gives Cyberpunk 3/10 and labels it biggest disappointment of the generation!".

I'd say 5/10 is fair as it is a broken mess and a disappointment but the core game is good, you're telling me this is a worse game than Anthem, any Madden title, Metal Gear Survive, Aliens Colonial Marines or Andromeda? Give me a break guys!

I agree with most of the review though.

Re: Sony Removes Cyberpunk 2077 from PS Store, Pledges Refunds for All PS Store Purchases

DonJorginho

@nessisonett before I had about a crash every hour and a half, not the best but bearable, but once I started the final main questline the game's quality took a nosedive, constant crashes, constant animations glitching, key audio cutting out, it was a really sour end to my playthrough as I was loving it and had dedicated 43 hours into it! But I've decided the game just isn't up to scratch in terms of performance, quality and polish wise, so I've requested a refund and as said earlier will save the other endings, lifepaths and other content for the next gen patch!

Re: Sony Removes Cyberpunk 2077 from PS Store, Pledges Refunds for All PS Store Purchases

DonJorginho

As much as I'm loving my time with this game on PS5, CDPR deserve this kinda ball busting over lying to their fans, delivering a broken product for most last gen users, hiding the game from the masses and reviewers up till launch day in certain countries, then acting like they're doing god's work with refunds when they really just put pressure on Sony as they knew they would be rejecting refunds so CDPR could say "hey it isn't our fault guys it's Sony!" So Sony have responded by saying "f©c* your game and come back to us when it's ready", my favourite game company man, gotta love Sony! 💙

Re: Cyberpunk 2077's Multiplayer and DLC Not the Focus, As CDPR Preps Rescue Mission

DonJorginho

@theheadofabroom

This news was given by CD Projekt head, Adam Kicinski, during an investor briefing. During this he explained that CD Projekt Red chose to partner with Saber Interactive for this new version of The Witcher 3 so that it doesn’t interfere with the development of Cyberpunk 2077. Speaking of, Cyberpunk 2077 will also be coming to next-gen consoles, but that version will be developed in-house by CD Projekt Red.

“Regarding The Witcher 3 and its next-gen version: this project is developed outside, with our proven partner who had delivered the 4K version of The Witcher 3 and The Witcher 3 for Switch, so they already know our technology very well. We asked them to prepare the next-gen port, and as I said during my presentation, we expect a full next-gen experience, with great next-gen features, but it doesn’t interfere with the next-gen development of CP, which is being done internally by the CP team, and we’re confirming that CP will be released in the next-gen version.”

Re: PS5 Brute Force Fixes Cyberpunk 2077's PS4 Technical Problems

DonJorginho

@JohnnyShoulder Exactly, aside from handful of soft crashes I've encountered nothing that has ruined my profuse enjoyment for this title, it is everything I wanted and more, I went on to play it at 7pm yesterday and by 4am this morning I didn't even notice how long I'd been playing and it all flew by, the world and it's characters, the soundtrack and the atmosphere of the game, the combat, the freedom of choice, the sidequests, the sheer magnitude of Night City. It's all so magnificent and enthralling it's all I think about atm, I feel sorry for those on base consoles experiencing inexcusable issues but I must say I feel that even on those broken versions of the game you can still sense some of that amazement this game brings.

If this is how much I adore this game now, I can't imagine how much my adoration for this game will grow once I play this with a full next gen patch or on PC.

Re: Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered Adds 60FPS, Ray Tracing Option on PS5

DonJorginho

@oldschool1987 Pipe down, happily look through my post history and you'll find plenty of me criticising them, the fact that you're labelling anyone that isn't hating on CDPR or the game as someone on their payroll literally proves my point so I thank you!

I'm on no-ones payroll and believe me CDPR have messed up with the base last gen console ports and with their shady marketing around it, I'm just saying how every single post on here, regardless of what it's about, always contains hateful comments towards CDPR and the game, it's very childish.
