Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 504

Been playing Subnautica in VR on PC with the Submersed mod that gives the game full motion controls.

It's amazing to go below the waves in VR, but also pretty frightening in the dark caves far below. Steadily making progress though.

You PSVR2 folks should make a push to get this game to the platform as I have no doubt it would look great on those OLED screens. C'mon Sony!

@LordAinsley I completed RE7 VR on madhouse difficulty and it wasn't too bad apart from in the barn when the 2 giants come down the elevator.

I guess the difficulty in translating a Souls game to VR would be how the bigger and slower type weapons would translate to motion controls. Sekiro might make for a better option where you just have one main weapon but a lot of optional gadgets like bombs and shurikens.

I found the first half of DS3 pretty good, it was in the second half after landing on the ice planet everything went to... necromorph poop.

Could literally feel the pressure of the publisher to insert stuff that had no place there like cover-based shooting, QTE's and whatever else was popular in the shooters of the PS3 era. The final boss was just over-the-top silly and the ending was terrible.

That game needs a remake far more than 1 and 2.

Sony doesn't need to do much at all it seems, when they are selling twice as many consoles as MS with minimal effort.

Gamepass has been stagnating lately too, to the point where Microsoft is looking for new users mainly on PC. The problem is that many PC gamers like me have a 100+ backlog of games already and have no need of a monthly subscription.
