I've had a nasty drift on my PS4 controller after just a few months (I'm a grand master in unluckiness), but it only took a few minutes with the support to arrange repairs. It's still a pain to wait for the replacement to arrive.

@SonuvLiberty I'm pretty sure it depends on how many zeros are on the paycheck. It would be a really bad joke to see them work together after their ugly divorce, but I'd be interested in Snake Stranding.

Hopefully they'll pull a No man's sky and eventually make this game as great as it was advertised. At least, fix it soon so they can stop offering refunds and get it back on the ps store.

@Judal27 Thanks for the info. It makes it even stranger not to include both characters in the remaster if it's minor differences. Who knows, maybe Gestalt will be the PS5 version or sold as a dlc.

@SilenceCZ I thought they were 2 completely different games but I looked it up and it seems they are just 2 flavours of the same game. Not sure if you need to play both to understand the convoluted storyline.

One correction though, Japan had both games. Gestalt on Xbox360 and Replicant on PS3

It's probably too early, but is there any word of a NieR Gestalt remaster? It feels a bit weird to play all those game in anti-chronological order.

In the next AC, they will sell bug fixes as microtransactions. Crashes will be intentional and you will need to buy credits that will drain overtime to prevent crashes and resume crashing when it is depleted.

@themightyant I call the macrotransactions. I also call them the plague of modern gaming that started with free to play/pay to win and are now pay to play AND pay to win.

Will it have modern BioWare features, like T-posing through cutscenes, constant crashes, game breaking bugs, corrupted saves and destroying your PS4?

They own Funimation/Wakanim and recently bought Crunchyroll. Sony's anime branch is gigantic, so I'm not surprised.

@get2sammyb Thanks for the explanation, it was crystal clear. I just find the "micro" part very confusing and probably a commercial stunt to exploit the many flaws in our brains.

What is the definition of microtransactions exactly? Because some cheap cosmetics are sold as DLCs. And some transaction that are neither DLC nor season pass are definitely not "micro".

@LiamCroft They would still keep their jobs. EA is a lot more robust than other studios. But sure, you could also wish for all illnesses to magically vanish and for world piece, but you know it's not going to happen and you'd sound like a beauty pageant winner. It doesn't mean I'm in favour of war or illnesses. Any blackhat hacker should be hanged by their sensitive parts.

@si2525 that's not impossible but the proble applied everywhere. Shortages because of panick shoppers (aka as*holes), spam because of idiots clicking on every link in their mailboxes, phishing because of idiots who can't think... I could go on forever. The human race is its own problem, and some create more problems by taking advantage of widespread stupidity for their own little gain and don't care about how much damage they deal because they are pieces of sh*t. There wouldn't be any scammers/scalpers without idiots, but there wouldn't be this many shortages without scalpers, so I truly hope karma or whatever BS you believe in catches up and pays them back for what they did with extreme prejudice.

@costa69gr 50 minutes to late. Goldeney 007 is clearly the only Bond game that matters. Sadly Rare doesn't know how to make good videogames from what I've heard.

@djlard Rest mode is the most likely answer. I had the same thing on the Witcher 3 and a few other games. A friend never uses rest mode and I suspend games several times a day whenever I take a break and rarely reboot my PS4 pro out of convinience. He never had a crash and I had quite a few.

In this day and age, I'd expect a remake of previous games. It could be the exact same story but made officially canon again

I bet you'll repawn before even dying on PS6.
