Sony acknowledged a problem? That doesn't sound like them. Remember in the distant past (by which I mean earlier this week) the problem with randomly banned accounts?
The good thing about postponing release is that it might not be under baked... Unless they release it because they just couldn't make it good and didn't want to cancel it altogether. I'll wait for the reviews and a discount (not paying 80€ for a game, especially from the DLC specialists)
3 years since the PS5 was released and their system is still fully broken. Sony really is the worse when it comes to software. It feels as if they are still firefighting the mess they created when they rushed the PS5 release when the XSX was announced.
@PixelDragon You are wasting way to much time trying to convince people brainwashed by the Church of Digitalism™. Common sense won't make them change their mind, and so many stupid articles about digital overtaking physical comfort them in their little digital world. I'm not even sure they'll change their mind when 2nd hand market and competition don't exist anymore and games cost over 150€/$ not including DLCs.
I really hope it's like CP2077. A total wreck at launch that gets patched eventually. This way we'll have some fun news, the game will cost 20€ barely 6 weeks after release and be great a year after launch.
I was never interested in dreams. Same thing with Mario maker. I just don't get the appeal of browsing thousands of bad games made by people as creative as I am (understand not at all) in hope of finding something entertaining for more than 5 minutes.
This is a minor mistake that is barely worth mentioning.
If I had to whine like this every time an American film or series butchered my native language, you'd never hear the end of it. It's just a lack of culture, no big deal.
@get2sammyb I have to agree with other comments. Your articles are great but this title is just a nasty clickbait. Still looking forward to whatever you'll write next.
While I have no doubt the game is great and better than slogs full of macro transactions and DLCs (not included in the overpriced season pass) like AC Valhalla, what kind of director would say "you know what? My game is not worth the pricetag, you should wait for a discount."
I've played free mobile games over 10 years ago that looked and played much better than this.
some people were excited about this when the publisher only releases stinky turds. This reminds me of Balan wonderworld. Everyone was excited even though the first trailer looked like absolute crap.
Sony is about as good as Bethesda when it comes to firmware. My Sony TV crashed about once every hour after an update, and it took over 6 months for them to patch it properly and release a stable firmware.
Also everything was such a mess when the ps5 was released. They also destroyed their own website and made it much much worse.
So the console has the same pricetagw but you need to buy the stand if you want it vertical. They managed to further increase the price when a console is suppose to get cheaper over time.
The CEO and COO probably descended into madness when they realised how screwed they were after accepting the contract, they probably believed they were Gollum, the lord of the precious.
Hopefully they will do things in the right order: 1: Start developing the game for a few years 2: Do some trailers and teasing staring Chris Pratt or whatever
I don't see a problem with a game coming on 2 disks. It's better than the Activision way with 70MB of data on a Blu Ray just to download the entire game. A complete edition should always contain the entire game, even if it has several disks.
I usually imagine every name with a thick Japanese accent and the deepest voice possible. It would be something like "Kaito Shitu!". It does make everything better... or maybe I've been watching too many anime lately.
I borrowed HFW. It wasn't as good as the first one, but I wasn't disappointed since they tried something a bit new with the story. I'll wait for the complete edition to get much cheaper, so I can play the DLC.
I'd love to have a summary of what happened behind the scenes. I'm sure none of it made sense and Microsoft accepted absolutely anything to calm Sony's tantrum.
Sex sells. Hopefully they won't have an idiot who give it a 6/10 just to lower the score when everyone else agrees it is worth at least 9-10 like TotK.
Did anyone seriously expect Ubisoft to sell a complete game? Even their overpriced ultimate versions are usually incomplete (looking at you AC Valhalla)
I'd like to know the stupid amount of pre-orders, which are useless for digital version. I'll never understand why people are so eager not to own a game by buying it digitally.
They might want to stop making cross gen games before releasing a hypothetical PS5 Pro. I really don't see the point of releasing a boosted version when even Sony isn't taking full advantage of the normal PS5. Nobody expect consoles to be as powerful as a high end pc anyway.
Sales coming after a price increase always reminds me of a comics in which 1$ lemonade doesn't sell, but it sells instantly when the sign says: "80% off! Was 5$, now 1$ only"
It's insane it took over a quarter of a century for Hollywood to figure out that hiring the right people (aka people who love the game), a good enough director (not Uwe boll or Paul ws Anderson) and having a sufficient budget were key to a good videogame adaptation movie or series.
They never gave it the right budget in the past, because everything failed, because everything they made sucked. I'm glad they broke that circle
@HeeHo If people never bought any from those scalpers, nothing would ever be scalped ever again.
It's the same with macro-transactions, pre-orders on games so unfinished you can't call it a pre-alpha version. People who buy and encourage these trends are the real problem.

Re: Kratos Voice Actor Underfire for Roasting New Call of Duty Campaign
There has been more unfinished junk released and layoffs than great games. Not sure it can be considered as "achievements"

OK folks, that more than 30 comments. Time to wrap up this comment section.
Re: Skull and Bones Finally, Actually, Really Has a Release Date on PS5

Re: Bethesda Rolls the Dice on Paid Mods in Skyrim Again
Since Bethesda games are riddled with bugs and are only fixed by mods, so they could manage to sell bug fixes. I'd love to see that.
Re: Sony Reversing PSN Account Bans, Still Hasn't Offered an Explanation
Sony is the worst when it comes to communication. A simple "we are aware of it and working on a fix" goes a long way.
Re: GTA 6 Trailer Tops 50 Million Views in 10 Hours, Despite Leak
Rockstar is big enough to track and sue the leakers. If they get caught, Rockstar will probably make an example out of them.

Hopefully he would also spend some of this hypothetical huge budget on printing the game physically.
Re: Stunning PS5 Open Worlder Star Wars Outlaws Has Seemingly Been Delayed
I'm amazed developers and publishers can still find new ways to describe reasons for a delay in the stupidest way.
Can't they just say "It's not ready yet, please be patient so we aren't forced to release an alpha version as the final version."
Re: Rumour: There's a Chance Dragon Quest X Offline Could Be Coming West
Wait, it wasn't already planned for western release? For some reason I assumed it was since the announcement of DQX offline.
I miss my MMO days, but I can't stand playing online anymore, so this is the perfect game for me
Re: The First PS5 Slim Has Been Spotted, Release Date Likely Imminent
Modern Warfare 3 PS5 bundle? I bet Microsoft would love to buy Sony and sell Spider-Man 3/Horizon Now Allowed West Xbox bundles.

Re: Netflix Aims to Be PlayStation's Next Big Rival, And It Wants Grand Theft Auto

You probably meant "console gaming". Because you'd most likely need to add Valve, Epic, Unity, nVidia and AMD to the list of exceptions.
Re: Ubisoft Exec Says Physical Sales Slowing, But They're Not Going Away
I'll accept full digital if the base price for AAA games drops to 20€/$. If not, I'll only buy a console if I can hack it and get all games for free

Re: PS5, PS4's Sizzling Summer Sale Adds Over 2,000 Discounts
Usually, the prices on Amazon tend to match the sales. I might pickup God of war ragnarok someday if it drops low enough.
Re: Deals: Top PS5 Products Reduced to Black Friday-Level Prices in Sony Summer Sale (UK)

Re: The Fantasy 6 Remake Talk Has Started Again
It depends on the type of remake.
If it was for a Chono trigger remake, I'd say shut up and take my money for a full on remake AND a HD2D.
