@Splat Yeah a lot of people have been losing companions. I lost Piper but I'm certainly not upset. However @AlexStinton lost Nick Valentine and he is now heartbroken!
@get2sammyb I have the same initial feelings as you. I played a decent amount of the game completing the baron quest and playing Gwent and did some side missions but I couldn't get into it. I really couldn't get to grips with the combat system and so ended up deleting it. Since then it has sat on my shelf gathering dust and every now and again I tell myself I'll give it another shot but I can't convince myself it's worth it for all the downloading, installing time and memory it'll take up.
I'll definitely be checking out the Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 beta later this week. After trying it out at EGX it feels much like the first one which is a promising sign.
@DerMeister it's a great genre! Any genre of games is worth a try atleast once cause you never know until you try. The key with rogue likes is to get used to dying and accept it as every death is a learning experience.
It was a bold move taking their much love series into a 3D world but I can't understand why they would want to in the first place. The original was a great multiplayer puzzle platformer in the format it was and then the sequel only improved upon it. To then just remove that format entirely surely loses interest of the fans.
I can see they wanted to try something new but there are so many other things they can experiment with without switching up the entire game format. Fans weren't screaming that they wanted a 3D platformer or that they had had enough of 2D platforming.
I think developers lose focus when creating games these days, and often don't listen to the actual recipient of the product as is the case here.
@iDangerMouse_ To be honest the others that I considered were Witcher 3, but I couldn't get into the combat system; Just Cause 3 and Rainbow Six Siege, but they only came out recently so I haven't played them enough to say they were better than any of these five.
I think Naughty Dog are hiding the real reason for delay, they have decided to go back on their decision to kill off Nathan Drake. They decided it would cost too much money just to kill him off.
@DerMeister Thanks, I am genuinely surprised at how good a response I've had from this article. It's awesome.
@Frank90 that's fair enough everyone is entitled to their own opinion. There are plenty more of these article coming over the next few days, maybe one will suit your tastes better.
@chiptoon Batman is great, just the batmobile is overused a lot. I wouldn't say its as good as Arkham Asylum or Arkham City but it is a good end to the trilogy.
@Melucine Fair enough some games just aren't for everyone, for instance I don't particularly like the Witcher 3 even though it is a really well designed and polished game. It is the same with Rocket League, some people just won't like it even though it is well designed and polished.
@Melucine you have to remember that the PS3 didn't have as big a fan base as PS4 now has because the Xbox 360 was so similar in specs. Also Rocket League was on PS Plus so a lot more people got it who wouldn't have got it otherwise.
@DominicanGlory @Dodoo Bloodborne is the one title that I haven't tried but wish I had, unfortunately not having much free time was a big cause of that
@BAMozzy yeah it was a good game to finish the trilogy and it was definitely overlooked by many because of some very minor issues.
@xMEADx I really enjoy a big variety of games and I'm sure others do too. I get tired of playing the same genre for hours on end so I like to mix it up a bit.
The Witcher 3 was definitely a big contender for me, I picked it up on launch and loved the visuals and the huge amount of content and the open world but I just couldn't get into it like other titles. I'm not saying it's bad, I just couldn't get used to the combat system as I don't think it suited my play style.
As for Bloodborne, it's one game that just slipped through the net this year and i've had @get2sammyb on my back nagging me to play it. I will hopefully pick it up over the christmas holidays.
@BetweenTheTrees hey I'm having trouble getting the underground undercover trophy and I've seen many people saying it's bugged. Could you let me know how you did it?
Mine is just a portable copy of The Binding of Isaac Rebirth but it was worth every penny. Plus I've now got Nuclear Throne on it too, can't argue with that! Happy Birthday little one, you're still young!
@get2sammyb I've been trying so hard to get away from this game and play something else but it's got my on a hook and with the sparrow racing, I'm being reeled back in.

Re: Guide: How to Solve the Puzzles in The Witness
@sinalefa that's a shame really cause it's such a well designed and presented puzzle game
Re: Guide: How to Solve the Puzzles in The Witness
@Quintumply @sketchturner Thanks guys, its tricky not to reveal all when writing a guide for this game.
Re: Soapbox: The Witness on PS4 Is a Special Kind of Brilliant
YES! Just earned the platinum for The Witness!
Re: Soapbox: The Witness on PS4 Is a Special Kind of Brilliant
@get2sammyb Glad you like it. It's as much fun seeing/helping others solve the puzzles as it is doing them.
I'm still stuck on the final challenge, almost had it this morning but accidentally hit pause

Re: Pixel Piracy Hops Aboard HMS PlayStation 4
@Phillendon isn't that the same with most games though, having to do tutorials and get used to the controls
Re: Pixel Piracy Hops Aboard HMS PlayStation 4
I'll certainly give this a go
Re: In the Mood for an RPG? Loads of Discounts Critical Hit the EU PlayStation Store
@get2sammyb It might be time for me to pick up Bloodborne.
Re: Review: Infinifactory (PS4)
@themcnoisy It has a great concept and it can be very enjoyable, it's just poor in execution.
@get2sammyb a picture or a short video makes it a lot easier to explain what this game is.

Re: Store Update: 12th January 2016 (Europe)
@MinerWilly I've still just got the 500GB and with Destiny, The Witcher 3 and GTA V it's definitely full.
Re: Store Update: 12th January 2016 (Europe)
@MinerWilly that sucks! I have similar issues with my PS4 memory being full all the time.
Re: Store Update: 12th January 2016 (Europe)

@get2sammyb no probs. I was really surprised at how fun and addictive this game was.

Re: PS4 Owners Have Terribad Music Taste
@get2sammyb I have to say that list from PushSquare Towers is pretty epic, just needs some Backstreet Boys and it'll be perfect 😉😆

I got Just Cause 3, Terraria and Tearaway all for PS4, the backlog continues to grow!

The Last of Us 2 anyone?

This was my favourite new game announcement at the show. It looks mysterious, creative and exciting. I can't wait to see more.
