I find Ubisoft a sad case, akin to a dementia-patient. Once every 10 years or so, they wake up and deliver a fun game like Rayman Legends. But then their eyes glaze over, they slump back in their armchair, and push out another Assassin's Creed turd.

Sony have undoubtedly listened to gamers, and they will announce the following:

1) PS5-Pro price slashed to £200
2) All remakes and remasters BANNED
3) All live-service projects BANNED
4) HQ will move back to Tokyo
5) ALL 1st party studios will release NEW IP next year
6) Half-Life 3 will be a PS-exclusive and will release NEXT WEEK

@breakneck I am always shocked by the low percentage of players that complete games. Sometimes they barely manage to get past the first hurdle. "complete the tutorial...80% of gamers have achieved this"

@OmegaStriver I will be one of those gamers that move to PC next gen. With PS exclusives now on PC, the overbearing number of remakes and sequels, and every developer's stubborn desire to sacrifice 60Hz for ever higher graphical-fidelity, I no longer have any reason to buy future consoles.

@Max_the_German I loved Metro Exodus. It's not all narrow corridors. There are some large hub areas. It is atmospheric and visually spectacular. Somehow, 4A Games made it run at dynamic 4K / 60Hz with ray-tracing. Note that the HDR config screen is broken. I had to change the HDMI RGB range to "Full" on both my console and TV.

@Kanji-Tatsumi $70 does not include tax. USA stores display pre-tax prices because the tax-rate varies by state. So $70 (pre-tax) is roughly the same as £70 (post-tax)

I believe there are a large number of gamers who don't realise that many PS2 games ran at 60 Hz.

My prediction: 3 remakes, 5 remasters, and 2 sequels !

@LN78 I agree. Playstation now port their games to PC, Microsoft now port their games to Playstation, and games are still running at 30Hz in fidelity mode. I've had enough of consoles. I am moving to PC next generation.
