I think Sony communicates in steps. They've also only announced 90 out of 400 games. And by no means all 360 retro games. So they probably still have some surprises up their sleeve. It is the press that is always moaning and destroying everything because they can't get their scoops. Patience is a virtue. But journalism does not know patience. And Sony knows that and smiles in her fist.

Where does it say Sony is buying Square Enix then? No news to find for me. Or am I overlooking something? and nothing has yet been announced about a mega acquisition by Sony. So Square Enix won't be the candidate I'm guessing.

But if they had said this sooner, everyone would have started stacking like crazy. they should never have blessed that with ps now you automatically get ps premium. Because everyone takes advantage of that. And now Sony is suddenly the bad guy? upside down world this.

If they had announced in advance that this would happen, the problems would only have been greater. But I'm curious when Microsoft will close that loophole. If they have 30 million subscribers? @IonMagi what's wrong with that then? because people can't benefit for 10 years? If you want to use something, you just pay for it, that's how it works in the adult world. and then you don't have to moan about Sony. Sony is a company that wants and has to make money. can you also stack 10 years with the rent of your house? or your energy bill? or your telephone subscriptions? would be nice but don't think it is economically good.

@zimbogamer good for you. especially because it can't be cheap.with your mentality the whole game industry will die all gamepass brings are day one indie games and people pretend it's the greatest service ever. it's a crappy service that hasn't shown much to date. but yes everything for € 100 for 3 years is of course nice. quantity for quality.

That's logical right? what's the use otherwise. the current generation is just whining about everything. and everything has to be as cheap as possible. this is not customer unfriendly. this is called doing business. Sony has to earn some money from the new service. so if half the world is going to hit for 10 years, it makes sense that they would stop this. Yeah all those great first Day indie games are unbelievable indeed. And those 2 Xbox exclusives that are already out there. The rest won't come until 2023, but gamepass is great.

Europe is the biggest Playstation market there is with most Playstations in the wild. I think they begin small and end with the biggest continent. Something with server overload? The same goes for Japan, also a big market. has nothing to do with first or last as some babies here think. this is more of a technical thing.

@Luigia @Luigia must be youre internet connection. Because here in the Netherlands we no problem streaming.everyone always says that it is up to Sony. But I'm thinking more of the internet provider.

Same here, I think the Netherlands takes a top position in the world for faster internet. But we are a small country so i think it,s easier to make this possible. but I also like streaming. No problem with speed and lags in the Netherlands.

There's nothing wrong with it. Sony doesn't need Day one releases. These games cost 100 milion to make. Microsoft doens't invest that kinna money in games. And then there's that "glitch" for gamepass I bett that from those 25 million users more than 50% used that glitch. And that makes gamepass verder atractive to buy. Case for now its almost a steal for that money.And There's youre gamepass succes.

Great service! Ps plus stays as it is for the same price. If you want more pay a little more.and I have ps now Until 2023 and I read somewhere that I Will get the premium plus. Sounds like a good deal. Thanks Sony!

Perhaps its a glitch in the matrix, and she said something thats supposed to be said in 6 months or so. Or I believe that Sony will anounce something big very soon.

@arra1213 Glad im not the only one Who reads it like that. Since gp arrived everyone cries about game prices. You should see my ticket when i fill up my car with gasoline. I could but 2,5 games for 1 fill. Thats way more painfull than buying a Playstation game. I think a lot of visitors of this site including the staff weren,t born in the 80,'s. (S)nes games and n64 games were always that expensive. Switch games are also €60. And you never hear anyone complain. Weird.

@Robocod There not Take2 owned, Take2 is the publisher.Supermassive games is a stand alone studio. That said. No problem to pay €70 for a game. I earn more than enough. But i always wait for games (except Sony games) to go in sale. But then again my salary is fine and my wife earns the same. But if you live alone it is a bit harder i quess. Dont know the average salary in the uk tough. But i remember Until Dawn was €59 in 2015. So does everyone game on this site gets a price tag in the title now?

Money? Sony Earns from selling Bungie. And can also choose to keep some things exclusive. Bungie continues to make multiplatform games and Sony earns from it.

Sony is still the biggest T-Rex in Gaming out there i case you didn't noticed. With over a 100 million userbase that is getting stonger every Day. Gamepass on the other hand ony has 25 million users. And that's not gonna change in a long run. You guys really need to stop bashing Sony like that. You cant compare Sony with Microsoft. The core business Sony is in isnt suitable to be able to keep so much money in hand. Margin on electronics is simply much lower than on Licenses that half the world has to use
But Sony is far from a little boy. But everyone has their own thing. And it's really not that Microsoft has infinite pockets of money lying around. And certainly not for Xbox. Because I don't think xbox makes a profit to this day unlike playstation.
