@PegasusActual93 no but I def felt it was scarier than 2 and I also absolutely missed the quirky twin peaks vibe of AW 1 that 2 just does not have. I remember in AW 1 being so relieved to see the lit up gas station after trekking through the woods or reaching the radio tower where Pat Maine hosted his radio show and 2 never gave me that feeling especially since the variety of levels wasn’t really there especially compared to AW 1.
@torne I really like Alan wake 2 but I don’t see what’s scary about it. Unsettling yes but I don’t find it scary at all matter of fact I hate how they kind of switched genres from alan wake 1 which I actually preferred to AW 2.
Easily a 10 and as a huge Batman fan, because he’s my favorite hero ever that I know absolutely everything about, it kills me to say that. I don’t really jive with marvel besides Wolverine,Daredevil who’s my absolute favorite marvel hero and Spider-Man and this game just captures being spidey hell a hero period better than any other superhero game especially the friendly neighbor Spider-Man part
@MagisterMagi my guy there were plenty of interviews during part ones development talking about how it was the first ND game made without crunch and the game looked way better than the ps4 remaster and it did have a.i. improvements and they did add details to the environments. Once again grow up and have some facts before having an adult conversation
@MagisterMagi actually he has done something about crunch the part 1 remake was made with no crunch and wasn’t a cash grab so grow up and actually have facts when you try to have grown up conversations. The released tlou part 2 three years ago and part one remake like a year ago and triple aaa games especially the kind ND makes take anywhere from 4 to 6 years.
@MagisterMagi yeah druckmann is doing such an awful job it’s not like he has had three hit games in a row and a prestige tv show that’s going to clean up at the Emmy’s lol.
@KundaliniRising333 yeah I’m sure the millions their games sell which always feel like an event when they release while reliably scoring 90 plus on metacritic needs a shakeup
After trying Starfield I have no problem with this. Bethesda’s rpg’s have been left in the past and if Elder Scrolls is just more of the same I’m good.
I’m so hyped for this especially since I didn’t think the console release was going to make this year. Pathfinder 1&2 are amazing games especially the second which imo is a masterpiece and was the best crpg until baldurs gate 3 came out.
Enemies take entirely too many hits and the combat looks like it’s going to let the game down. I do like the detective board and the graphics are pretty damn good
@StylesT that’s what happened to me. I started Starfield early access but once BG 3 early access unlocked for me I haven’t been back. I already wasn’t feeling Starfield which is frankly outdated In unbelievable ways but after playing BG 3 it feels a generation behind
@Intr1n5ic oh it def doesn’t that game is more divisive than I ever thought it would be. I was so hyped when I started it right at 8 on Thursday when it unlocked and the whole time I was playing it I wasn’t getting any sense of awe. I wasn’t getting the feeling I got the first time I played Skyrim and most recently BG 3. I think BGS games are just outdated now and things that cut it back in 2011 don’t fly now. The amount of loading screens to do anything, the comical conversation camera, the absolutely horrid UI and mediocre writing.
@Styledvinny79 same here I usually choose fidelity but in this case there was no noticeable difference besides the frames not being choppy in performance
There’s nothing I can add that the review didn’t already say this game is a masterpiece and vaulted into my top five of all time. I started Starfield the night before this came out for deluxe buyers and that was a mistake. I got ten hours into Starfield with nagging disappointment then once I started BG 3 it made Starfield feel a generation behind and I haven’t touched it since. It’s actually kind of comical that Larian a indie studio was able to have such a dynamic camera during conversations that easily hang with HFW,Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk and then you got Starfield that looks just like Skyrim when talking to it’s dead eyed people and thats just unacceptable. I plan on going back after beating BG 3 but I think by that point starfield is just going to come off worse than it already does
I luckily only go monthly which yes adds up to more over time but at least I’m only spending 17.99 a month and if there’s a month I don’t like I just let that month go
@KaijuKaiser same here I just look at reviews to see what other people think but i know what games I’ll like and buy them. October is absolutely going to bankrupt me lol
This review is on the lower end of the general consensus so far. I’m getting ready to start it up now I’ve been hyped since it was revealed and reviews saying the way the world is laid out is GOW Ragnarok lite has me even more hyped

@MagisterMagi my guy Sony isn’t firing Druckmann or Barlog two of the most prominent, award winning directors out there lol.

Re: Marvel's Spider-Man 2 (PS5) - A Familiar But Fantastic Superhero Sequel
I’m so hyped already have the digital deluxe preinstalled and this game finally broke insomniacs curse and got 91 on metacritic so happy for them.
Re: Mini Review: Scorn (PS5) - A Brilliantly Disgusting Puzzler with Gameplay Woes
Played it through gamepass at launch on Xbox and hated it such a letdown
Re: Preview: Dragon's Dogma 2 Feels Like a Remake of the First Game, in a Good Way
Yeah I’m out then since I felt the first one was a very mediocre game and sometimes downright bad so this seeming like a remake is a no go for me.

Re: Baldur's Gate 3 (PS5) - One of the Greatest RPGs of Our Time
@RS1 I’ve been following the game like the ot on restera for example and most people love Act 3 and it’s the majority’s favorite act after act 1.
Re: Baldur's Gate 3 (PS5) - One of the Greatest RPGs of Our Time
@RS1 lmao no the hell they aren’t so take that conspiracy crap somewhere else

@cburg I can’t usually either so that’s why I just put it on the easiest setting. I’m here to experience the world, story and characters
Re: Baldur's Gate 3 (PS5) - One of the Greatest RPGs of Our Time
@Gitface that’s crazy because BG 2 is so much better than 1 it’s crazy

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Diablo 4?
@The_Pixel_King I understand but they would have to completely close up shop in the UK and that’s MS as a whole not just Xbox and that def isn’t happening. The deal isn’t completely dead but there’s like a one percent chance of the CMA overturning it so it most likely is
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Diablo 4?
@__jamiie please enlighten how they can get around the CMA besides leaving the UK which is not going to happen I’m all ears
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Diablo 4?
@The_Pixel_King but they can’t complete the deal unless the CMA reverses their decision which is looking extremely unlikely
