@__jamiie lol no that is just factually wrong and the CMA already did do something they blocked it. So unless MS leaves the UK which isn’t happening it’s dead and only console warriors think otherwise
I voted 9 it’s a really fun game but if you try to do everything it really overstays it’s welcome with the hundreds of mostly mmo from early 2000 filler sidequests and the dungeons are entirely too long. They should have ended with a boss after completing one objective but no you usually have to do two or three before reaching the boss and playing solo it’s just so mind numbing and boring to where I’m running past most enemies.
@Matroska how was exploration rewarding there was f**k all to find or do? The game had combat and the pawn system going for it that’s it everything else was mediocre or bad so I really hope they come with some massive improvements
@Loamy oh I’m happy for the fans even though I’m not interested in it I just what people to have fun playing games. I did like the combat of the first and the companion system was pretty neat but that was about it. The setting was one of the most generic open world settings ever, the voice acting was laughable, the main quest was real bad and so were the sidequest and I didn’t think exploring was rewarding or fun especially with the good awful fast travel system. If Capcom can improve some of that I’ll buy the game day one but the first trailer really didn’t make me hopeful but I’ll wait till more is revealed to make a final judgement
@Loamy really I didn’t think the trailer was anything special and its views have been among the lowest of the showcase. To be fair the first dragons dogma is utterly mediocre so I don’t think the sequel is for me
@nocdaes which is fine but the Spider-Man games are known for their great stories especially the first one that a lot of critics and fans thought was one of the best spidey stories in years.
@Kanji-Tatsumi I just don’t get why it really matters. Who cares that on the main screen there’s an advertisement for another game from the same publisher. It’s like complaining my 4K blu rays have trailers for other movies.
@ppitchfork maybe not there’s only so much time a day to game I have both systems and I barely touch my Xbox because of time. Hell I even buy indies or games that come to gamepass day one on my ps5 because of the dualsense, trophies, friends and digital library
For once I actually don’t think this is pr fluff especially since it’s so defeatist. He knows the acti deal is dead so there would be no reason to be this downbeat he’s just speaking honestly
@Krysus agreed it took me 18 hours to do everything besides aerial north because it’s glitched on me and explore the whole map and I loved it the whole way through. Seyka was an awesome new character who I hope shows up in 3 and that amusement park mission was just 👌
@KundaliniRising333 hold on Aloy supposedly doesn’t have a personality lol. You cite reviews when the vast majority of reviews praise Aloy as a character as well as the game as a whole and almost every review mentioned that FW was better than Zero Dawn in almost every way. Guerilla def put the work in to address criticisms from Zero Dawn and now Burning Shores even addressed some of the few criticisms from FW. The games are great which is why they review extremely high, get nominated for goty awards at all major award shows and sell extremely well. Aloy has tons of cosplayers and has shown up in other companies games because she is very popular and people love her.
Easily a 9 the amount of new mechanics they added is awesome and a sweet little preview for horizon 3 which I’m dying for already. HFW with BS cemented it has my second favorite open world game ever behind RDR 2.
@LeeHarveyOzgod love the series and I just can’t agree with you about the story. It’s one of the most unique stories in games it’s so pro environmental and anti tech/capitalism as well as having tons of humanity I love it. It also besides the Mass Effect series has my favorite cultures with the tribes met so far being so unique and cool with awesome histories of how they came to be with unique twists on the old world shaping them to be what they are in the game.
@zupertramp man sounds like bad luck I fee for you because I’ve never had any of those problems except some pop in when flying. It topped digital foundry’s tech list last year for a reason it’s insanely good looking and runs great. Maybe delete and reinstall it to see if that maybe helps.
@WallyWest first off lol at sidequests in elden ring being better besides the one you mentioned they are ultra forgettable,it doesn’t have endless camps there’s like six main big camps and a dozen or so smaller ones throughout the gigantic map that all have have a quest line attached and a pay off at the end unlike the dozens upon dozens of copy and paste mines, bandit camps and mini dungeons of Elden Ring, they have five towers if you want to call them that but their actually moving huge talknecks that are also puzzles to solve to climb, once again the icons can all be turned off or you can pick and choose which ones are active not to mention 75 percent of them are fast travel camps or machine icons so you can farm the machine parts you need, it doesn’t have endless collectibles there’s like 49 or 50 which is nothing compared to an AC game, rdr 2,Ghostwire Tokyo etc and how is there a fake sense between stealth or combat they are both essential and viable. You don’t love the series that’s fine but it’s comical when someone tries to say it’s a Ubisoft game when it’s the furthest thing from it. I just love how professional reviewers who play every open world game loves FW and not one that I personally read said anything about it’s open world sucking or being Ubisoft like quite the opposite a lot of reviewers called it one of the best open world games of the last few years which I agree with.
@WallyWest ok so explain what you mean by that I’m interested in how they copied Ubisoft. Those games aren’t dying that’s just lol worthy FW reviewed and sold extremely well. The majority of open world games are using the same template FW does and they sell because people like/love them.
@WallyWest lol I said sidequests not side content so really please tell me what open world game had better sidequests that month I’ll wait. It’s not like it’s some outrageous statement go read many of the reviews for the game that stated the same thing
@KundaliniRising333 the Ubisoft complaint is so played out and not even used correctly anymore it’s crazy some people still try to use it. The sidequests were some of the best sidequests in a open world game since Witcher 3,the bandit camps were kept to an absolute minimum not to mention had a nice sidequest line to them with a payoff at the end,the collectibles were very few compared to other open world games especially Ubisoft ones not to mention most added cool little things to the world, some sidequests changed parts of the world which was awesome, you can take all icons off or pick and choose which ones show, the cauldrons were actually proper dungeons with fun puzzles to solve and the combat and machines are just sublime. I really like the AC and Far Cry series actually got the plat in quite a few different titles from both series and FW is nothing even remotely like them.
@WallyWest lol yes almost anything could be reduced or made worse to make it run on ps4 but the Horus fight would be exponentially worse trying to do it on ps4
Of course ND quality still exists what kind of dumb question is that lol. No one in a few weeks is going to care about a busted pc port of tlou part one not to mention console players who already don’t care which is the main audience for ND. It’s not like this was the next big ND game that came out after years of hype and was busted for console and pc players and reviewed terribly. ND track record is still spotless imo one belated, busted pc port isn’t going to change that
Is this game out now because I’m in a cyberpunk/sci-fi phase right now and this sounds awesome. I just got a game called Disjunction off the psn spring sale for six dollars and it’s awesome. A great mix of MGS stealth and Hotline Miami combat with a well written cyberpunk story and great atmosphere
The internet is so weird and as internet people like to say cringe. Like the majority of twitter post about this probably have never played the game or even heard of it but they want to feel included so they post about it.
@rjejr I wasn’t making an absolute statement like that just saying the majority of time expansions don’t get hyped like that. When Burning Shores got announced there was hype and once reviews come out there will be hype again but there’s not going to be articles or anything like that especially since there hasn’t been any updates since it’s announcement.
@Total_Weirdo that isn’t to hide loading it’s been debunked by numerous developers and it sucks that misinformation got started by whoever on the internet and now it’s keeps getting parroted

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Diablo 4?
@__jamiie why would it because unless the CMA change their mind which looks very unlikely that deal is dead as dead gets

@Pat_trick MK 11 looks great but go back and play it my guy this looks way better
Re: Mortal Kombat 1's Breathtaking First PS5 Footage Stains Summer Game Fest
@Matroska that’s what makes MK so popular because their story modes blow other fighters out of the water so it brings in the casuals
