Final Fantasy franchise -outside the MMO- is not the powerhouse it once was. That have very little to do with the exclusives on PS4 and PS5.

In that generation I had an OG Xbox and Halo was the first game I bought. Didn't finish the campaign but the split screen deathmatch was one of the most fun I had ever so good memories. Will def buy this.

I wouldn't call 57,475 units sold at launch outstanding. But for PS5 standards in Japan it's pretty good. Too bad hardware didn't get any major boost. Feel like PS5 already lost the battle vs handhelds in Japan. Even new Monster Hunter World 2 didn't push near the units first one in PS4 did

I never played games like Goldeneye. So halo split screen mode on OG Xbox was like a revelation for me. It was the most fan I had playing with friends on my 29'' CRT television. Wasn't impressed with single player though, wasn't near as good as something like Half Life.

If you played Fifa 23, it will be pretty similar don't expect miracles. Actually it doesn't look that different from the first Frostbite powered FIFA 10 years ago

Stardew Valley is the game I spent most time with (after World of Warcraft). Its a gem but ok almost everyone got it by now and its pretty heap anyway

Typical remasters are just a resolution/framerate cup bump with some slight touching. This is more like a remake in my book even if gameplay is pretty much the same cause of the graphic changes. I mean FF VIII say its "remastered" but its still the same PS1 game, I have a hard time playing it

Not sold yet. I can live with no Oled but why no nvme in 2025? super microsd will hold games back, also ok new Mario Kart is great but nothing we haven't seen before and its just one game

Persona 4 REcreate. Day 1 purchase.
Persona 1 and 2 would need to be build from the scratch as the gameplay is dated and got no social links and love partners.

P4G was the main reason I bought a PS Vita, loved it but for some reason I was too busy to finish it so I never learned about the twist and the secret ending... I finished P3R in like a week.
Now P4 still on my backlog on PS5, and I will just wait for the remake me thinks. Although I really want Persona 6.

Coming from PC background, I still find awkward aim and shooting in FPS and even Resident Evil games with DualSense. And also you can't really play RTS like Age of Empires without mouse. But keyboard and mouse in front of tv is awkward, in your desk monitor it's ok. Mac

Is dino crisis playable? Dino crisis 2 had the worst camera ever. I kinda liked it only for the resident evil style gameplay back in the day on my pc (terrible port by the way)

Dragon Quest iX will sell over a million. Its makes me sad how much FF has fall from the grace. At least FF is trying every time something different and it's kinda more adult oriented. DQ are all just cute slimefests!

@naruball I don't bring my tablet on travels, but reading pdf on smartphone is perfectly fine. Portal widescreen makes it unfit anyway for pdf

Main problem is that AAA games production cycles are getting out of control. Uncharted 4 was released in 2016, sold 15 million copies and there's still no word about a sequel. Same with Persona 5. Problem isn't only with Sony. Last Grand Theft Auto and Elder Scrolls were released for PS3 and skipped a whole generation (E.S may skip 2). A kid that was 17 when Skyrim was made will be like mid 30s when a proper sequel comes out.

Guess we have to wait until Persona 6 to get our romance fix.
