I can confidently say that the update has fixed my issue with my system shutting itself down presumably from overheating. I regularly clean my system and it has never had obstructive airflow. I also entered a ticket with square and shortly after the patch came out they responded to the ticket saying some crashing issues have been addressed with the most current patch. Seems to have definitely addressed my issue.
There are just way to many games coming out and not enough time. I love stealth so if I hear they actually did a good job at pulling it off I'll get it down the road when it's under 20. It does look a lot better then I thought it would at least.
"Small, non-adjustable text" is all I needed to hear . I've been cursed with horrible vision. There are so many good games I can't play because of the text size. I do appreciate when reviews mention this.
Playing Octopath 2 but kind of burning out. The battle system is fun but it's just getting very repetitive. I'll give it some more time but if I'm not feeling it I'll find something in my ginormous backlog.
The fact they said the main quest is 35 hours and main + side quests and extras is around 70 ish means there will probably be more than enough to do to keep busy.
Finished Hogwarts Legacy... put about 75 hours into it loved it. Don't know if I'll ever replay it though. Now I'm playing Octopath 2. I like the tweaks they made with the battle system but otherwise feels like a copy/paste of the first one.
I was attempting to but it's the only game that shuts down my ps5 entirely. I chalked it up to it only happening on the demo at first but nope, it's happening on the main game as well. It's clean and not even hot to the touch. I'll probably just dl and play the ps4 version on the ps5 and see if it's happening there too.
A lot of my friends are playing P4 Golden since it just got rereleased so I decided to power up my Vita for the first time in a few years. Well, the game crashes when I launch it and I've tried everything. I broke down and bought it on my PS5 so this will keep me busy for weeks.
I was about to type almost the identical comment. I can see playing only 4 hours actually turning a lot of people off since it's a bit of a slog/boring until like the 10-15 hour mark when it opens up and gets amazing.
It's not a great game. Spent about 20 hours and couldn't hang. And that's fine. It's not because of the woke reviewers. It's literally because it's just not a great game.
I'm just hardcore casually playing some Slay the Spire and Marvel Snap until Witcher 3 PS5 update comes out. I recently beat GoWR and I don't have the brain power to hop into a huge endeavor. Also going to be watching lots of World Cup. Super stoked for Witcher 3. It will be my first play through ever.
@ScepticDK nope it's a standalone game. But if you have the time and resources to play the first one I recommend it! The stories can be a little disjointed and meh but the job system and battle system are top notch imo.

Yoshi P confirmed it and said he wants people to pet Torgal to see his cute expressions.
Re: Poll: What Was Your Favourite PS5, PS4 Game in February 2023?
Definitely HL. So bummed they are not planning on releasing DLC. Octopath 2 is decent but I've lost some motivation to continue it.

I'm playing Chained Echoes and loving it. It's definitely a modern old school JRPG done right.
Re: Poll: Share Your First Thoughts on The Last of Us TV Series
Damn, they nailed it in my opinion. The changes they made still fit the overall narrative. The casting seems spot on too. Can't wait til next Sunday!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 458
Still tackling my first Witcher 3 play through and I see no end in sight. This game is massive.
Re: Ys X: Nordics Announced for PS5, PS4, First Screenshots Shared
@Cyberpsycho totally agree. VIII was my first Ys game and I loved it! I was so stoked for IX and man, what a let down.

I hope they can pull this off. I'm still a bit skeptical so I'll wait for feedback but it's definitely looking better than I thought.

Good on Santa Monica for once again doing a AAA release the right way and not forcing us consumers to be some unpaid QA peeps.

Lol. So bad it's good maybe? Regardless of the ad it's not going to get me anymore hyped then I already am! Review 'embargo lifts tomorrow!
Re: God of War Ragnarok's PS5, PS4 Squeeze Gaps Spark Insight into Hidden Loading Screens
Squeeze throughs have never even remotely been an issue for me. I'm just so used to them by now I dgaf whether or not it is to hide load screens.
Re: Poll: Do You Care About 60fps on PS5?
At the moment I don't but I can understand why it would be an expectation in a few years since most people will be on next gen.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 449
Replaying Horizon FW on new game plus. Crazy how much I forgot since beating it in early March.
