@lixei32 Exactly. I never had any doubt that this wouldn't be a good game, I just thought that the zombies tropes made it seem a little generic, but it's looking amazing now.

I hope this game plays different than MK X because I liked MK9 more than X.

@Knuckles-Fajita According to list of Xbox One X enhanced titles, it won't even be 4K on the One X so probably not on the Pro either. It will have support for HDR though.

Looks great, especially the lighting and weather effects. This kind of gives me Left 4 Dead vibes (albeit 3rd person). Can't wait for April!

4K HDR? 60 fps?

Ultimately what will determine on how much interest I have in Days Gone will depend on if it's a survival horror game or if it's just an action game with zombies...

Man of Medan was confirmed to support HDR on Supermassive's Facebook!

Kingdom Hearts III, Metro Exodus, Resident Evil 2, Sekiro Shadows Die Twice, The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan, Mortal Kombat 11, Days Gone, Twin Mirror, Control, and RAGE 2 are all my most anticipated.

Enough of these crappy mobile games...

@Paranoimia Agreed 100%. Everyone is always looking for the next best thing, but we have so many games already lined up for the first 3 months of this year. PS5 can release in 2021 for all I care, cause this year will be packed!

There's a lot of Nintendo and Switch bashing going on here. Kind of makes me ashamed to be a PS fan...

@MadAussieBloke I'll admit, compared to the previous two games, Shadow was very same-y. It wasn't bad, but lacked the punch the first two had.

Don't forget (or do) Agony. Honestly, that was an all around terrible game. Buggy as hell, boring, little to no actual gameplay, crappy stealth mechanics, etc. Unfortunately I pre-ordered the game and then resold it a few days after I got it.

It was my first time watching the awards. I thought the show was good. The Outer Worlds was probably my favorite reveal. Definitely a game I'll be getting.

I think 2019 will bring us Concrete Genie in quarter one, Days Gone in the spring, MediEvil in the fall, and Ghost of Tsushima for the holiday. Death Stranding, Dreams, and TLOU2 will be 2020.

Hopefully Sony acquires Quantic Dream, Supermassive, and Insomniac before MS does...

I don't think they've lost momentum at all. What exclusives do we have to look forward to? Days Gone, Dreams, Concrete Genie, Last of Us Part II, Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima, and MediEvil. My guess is PS5 will release in late 2020. So that's 7 major first party games over a two year period...nothing to whine/worry about. Plus, I've no doubt that there will be a few PSVR titles thrown in there as well. Not to mention A TON of third party games from now til then.

We've seen all they have left in store for the last couple years of the console, but it will be ONE HELL of a farewell for PS4. There's NO reason to complain.

@Octane I agree with you 100%. As someone who still prefers physical over digital, I like the fact that all my games stand out on the shelf.

Got my PS4 December 2017, so I was pretty late to the party. However, over the past year I've played Uncharted 4, Horizon Zero Dawn, Until Dawn, Resident Evil 7, and 50+ other titles. I also upgraded from a 26" 720p TV to a 43" 4K UHD TV with HDR, and my oh my, what a difference. I'm excited to see what 2019 and 2020 have in store for the PS4.

@manu0 Agreed. I can't find any solid confirmation there is HDR support for Spyro. Thier website says nothing.

@Bonbonetti I agree, Call of Cthulhu is a pretty great game. Definitely not for everyone, though.

Does it actually have HDR support? Because I have not seen any confirmation of this anywhere else.

@KidBoruto Because honestly HDR is a game changer. Games look so much better with HDR support. I just got a 4K HDR TV earlier this year and I don't know if I could go back after seeing games on it.

Unfortunately it won't be PS4 Pro enhanced or support HDR...

Every game from here on out should have HDR.
