Recently replayed Innocence on PS5. The game was even better the second time around and I'm excited to see how Amicia has matured.

Sound and looks like Visage, which was amazing(ly scary).

If this is even half as frightening as Visage, then count me in!

I would say that RE4 was able to toe the line between action and horror successfully, so it makes it a lot easier for Capcom to lean into the horror more with the remake.

RE5 on the other hand went full action, so it would be more difficult for them to remake the game (and introduce more horror) without it feeling like a totally, 100% different game.

@GamingFan4Lyf It would be interesting to see if it would even be possible to remake 5 and 6.

If they did, they would have to totally change the tone and gameplay loop. I liked RE5, but it was just a third person shooter at best. RE6 was the only RE I hated and couldn't bring myself to finish.

Guys and gals, do not sleep on Tormented Souls. Plays just like classic Resident Evil, difficulty and all, but very scary and atmospheric!

Yikes, if this is Xbox exclusive I may as well just jump off a bridge...

DLC for RE Village would be nice and showing us some more of Pragmata.

I just want a release date for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, A Plague Tale Requiem, and the new Dark Pictures entry.

A couple new reveals would be enough for me, but I think the Xbox showcase will also have some multiplatform announcements as well.

We need more space horror games like this, Dead Space, and Alien Isolation.

The Callisto Protocol is my MOST anticipated game of this year. Merry Christmas to me.

I really don’t get the hate for full remakes of old titles.

If a game was good when it was released but looks/plays very dated then why shouldn’t these companies introduce these games to a whole new generation of gamers?

I’m 28, but I’ll be the first to admit there’s a lot of older titles I didn’t get to play that I’m glad were given a full remake for me to experience (Resident Evil 2, for example).

Obviously PSVR2 announcements, but aside from that:

I second this. I hope PS Studios explores different genres in regards to any new IPs from here on out. Returnal was a good first step. But let’s see a FPS game, a survival horror game, a metroidvania, a stealth game, etc.

I don't care what anyone says... Hello Games has more than redeemed themselves with all these free updates and support that they didn't have to do.

I haven't played NMS in years, but I'm thinking of jumping back in just to see how much it's changed.

One of my most anticipated games.

This is awesome. This gen, so far, has been awesome for horror games between Visage, Tormented Souls, RE Village, etc.

And there's so much planned for the genre as well: Dead Space remake, The Callisto Protocol, Alan Wake 2, etc.

Alan Wake 2 is in my top 5 most anticipated games of the generation.

I’m so curious to see what Pragmata is all about. Very happy with Capcom’s output these last several years.

Playing Crash Bandicoot 4 right now and loving it, so I'm pumped for this as well! Definitely releasing a lot sooner than I thought.

Why is Fatal Frame even on this list if it’s “not a good game”.

Also, Visage definitely deserves to be on this list.

I have a severe case of open-world fatigue.

This is great news, even though I thought the trailer looked amazing anyway.

You can count on Ubisoft for three things these days:

1. Half-assed live services that won't be supported a year later
2. Bland open world games
3. Shovelware that no one asked for

There's no one I trust less to support a live service game than Ubisoft.

Square is really killing it these days.

And by killing it, I mean themselves.

I'm in the minority camp-- I love the animations and the fact that Aloy talks to herself adds realism to me.

But, on the same note, I'm glad there's a choice for people who don't prefer the animations.

Pretty underwhelming Q2, not that we don't have a lot in our backlogs.

GTA V released when I was in my teens and GTA VI will (presumably) release when I'm in my 30s.

That's wild.
