It’s been, what, seven years since the last real game? I’ve already tried to move on, and now I feel like my emotions are being played with!!! Now, in my restless dreams, I see that town...SILENT HILL.

At least there’s the upcoming Dead By Daylight DLC to look forward to. That one’s real.

@pip_muzz I think Silent Hill being a PS exclusive would be along the lines of how Bayonetta is now a Nintendo exclusive...there would never have been a sequel if Nintendo didn’t fund it. If Sony wants to foot the bill to develop a Silent Hill sequel, then the game is basically theirs!

Got my eye on this one! Excited about Stormind Games expanding on and refining the groundwork of the first game.

Personally, I reeeally wanna see more interactivity this generation. It's time. Instead of marginally better graphics, I'd rather have all the trees in Horizon 2 be able to get knocked down, or have the ground deform and break apart when creatures run away so you can track them. I wanna see complex A.I. that makes a real simulation of an ecosystem, with creatures getting hungry, killing, and resting in a truly dynamic way.

No Silent Hill = 0/10!

The Xbox Series X was definitely much worse, but this one managed to make me really, really angry, lol. What the heck was up with teasing Silent Hill just to give way to nothing? Frustrating. PS5 isn't anywhere on my radar right now, not that it even has a price or release date. Seems like they're waiting for MS to make a move.

I have fond memories of "dolphin diving" thru upper story windows to kill people on the ground below, and other wacky/dumb plays relived in the game's theatre mode!

I'm hoping for dolphin diving to make a return, and the various weird gadgets from BLOPS 2 thru 4 (Cold War experimental weapons?) to set this apart from MW. I heard this will be indirectly cross-play with MW thru Warzone, so that's a big concern (like if they added dolphin diving, how would Warzone handle that? Some operators dolphin dive and others slide?).

For these kinda life-sim / long AF JRPGs, I think playing it on a portable console is the way to go (which is why I'm just stickin' with my Vita version).

Oh, and hope they fix the wack body proportions everyone has.

I'm not buying another one of these games until they fix the GAMEFACE thing where you can * supposedly * scan your face into the game.

It has NEVER worked once for me and is one of the more infuriating and tedious experiences I've had with a game recently, meticulously going through the process of taking photos, editing them, and uploading them from 3 different computers on different accounts only to get an error message every single time. Tried different photos of different people, different weight classes, men + women, updating the game, turning different things on and off, reinstalling, etc. I wasted lots of hours across weeks, with friends wondering when they can fight as themselves. Never happened in the two games I own (UFC1 and UFC3).

Hope ya like MK11, Sammy! Dunno if you've played MK9 and MKX...the story doesn't give new players any time to catch up! There's a ton of content on offer regardless of what mode you play...I've got over 170+ hours into it and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface!

If you decide to go online, I'd recommend giving a quick look at this website called "Kombat Akademy" run by a retired pro-fighting game person that's got some great beginner strategies for most of the characters. The in-game tutorial mode is also super useful, especially for learning defense (make sure you know how to do a delayed getup, getup roll, and breakaway). Also, it took me about 150 hours before I could start winning most of my matches online (instead of losing most/all of them), so...there's that!

Personally, I'm playing MK11 this weekend, training for EVO ONLINE (which I just registered for), lol. Maybe some goofin' around in MW with friends.

With how violent police forces have been against peaceful protesters, I don't see this ending anytime soon, lol.

Act like a baby, get treated like a baby! Certain people in this country are still 2 years old thinking they can treat other human beings like trash for no reason...grow up! It's funny to see people squirm from simple messages like this.

I've been playing a little of this, and so far it's kinda lackluster! I don't like the super slow movement, weak sounding weapons and unsatisfying weapon kills, and bad graphics. The matches are also super long, and there's never any music, so it's like 20-30 minutes of silence, lol. At least CounterStrike has loud effects and little guitar riffs between rounds.

I've also been known to end up liking games that I initially hate, so we'll see how it goes!

@Nakatomi_Uk There will definitely be more expansions...I think there was a leak listing 8 more character slots, so that would be another Kombat Pack with 5 characters, and then the final DLC story expansion with 3 more characters?

BUT if you get the game now, you can compete in the open global tournament for EVO Online at the end of next month! You could even pick-up just the base game for £20 right now and get to trainin'! Great game, highly recommended.

@themcnoisy Oh yeah, I forgot that it sold extremely well! It definitely deserves it!

But yeah, in the end, it's all relative. I mean...instead of Streets of Rage 4, I could get Metro Exodus and a frozen pizza! Or instead of that, I could get 2 months of PS Now and finally play Control and a bunch of other games.

That's the problem these days...too many deals! It's why I stick to one or two games amidst a giant sea of backloggable games. Too many games out there, it'll drive ya mad if you try and play 'em all! It's all those killer deals and indecision that drove me to get this $40 DLC and only play MK11!

The first expansion of 6 characters was $40...do you think that was a rip-off too? Based on the pricing for the base game, that would be worth $15 tops, eh?

The pricing on this one...3 characters and a 3-4 hour story (that you can watch on YouTube for free) for $40 too. Same thing: based on the price of the base game, that shouldn't be worth more than $15, right?

Despite all of this, I think it's fine. NRS did an incredible job with the quality of the added content that it doesn't feel bad throwing an extra $40 at them every 12 months. And yeah, I'm an MK fanboy, so of course I'm gonna bite! Plus, players have the option starting June 16 to buy all the characters and skin packs separately, so you could just spend $6 if you just wanted Robocop, for example.

Altogether, MK11 isn't special in its pricing. Compared to other fighting games, it's the exact same model. And compared to, say, spending $15 for ONE skin in Fortnite or Modern Warfare, it's almost a deal! Or spending $40 in Overwatch for lootboxes...see how good you feel after that one! Sure, it's no excuse, but let's call some other devs out here, too!

Let us see what's in the battle pass, at least!

There's also the Silent Hill DLC for Dead By Daylight (exact release day TBD)! Otherwise, Desperadoes 3 and Disintegration are definitely being added to my wishlist.

TLOU2 I'm holding out on the PS5 version and enjoying it later in the year when things have (hopefully) simmered down and I can properly give it my full attention!

@Neolit Ah, I didn't know that! Over a year ago, I actually looked into some of the things Trump said and saw that the media framed them out of context so I'm not surprised. Geez, there's so much misinformation out there these days (in general), people can basically just believe whatever they want!

Geez, I never said anyone should burn down the government! I said that the looting seems completely unnecessary because the people being looted have nothing to do with the government/police that protesters are protesting against.

If I recall, it's no so much that Trump praised the white supremacists so much that he didn't condemn them. I know the media has twisted some of his words in the past, but regardless, that's what I remember!

@Gladiator995 Even though blacks are a minority, there are tons of other minorities and even whites who will stand next to them in protest, just like in the 60s! And like I mentioned, it all started out peacefully but now it's off the rails due to police using force. I agree that the looting and arson is excessive, tho. I mean...why burn down some family's business when you could, y'know, attack a government building or something actually relevant to the cause?

The only thing I'm not super excited about is it being a "remake." Honestly, I'd rather see something completely new! At this point, we already had a remake (Shattered Memories), plus there was the movie, so we've already seen 3 different versions of Harry Mason's story. I also just think the original is perfect as-is, so I'm biased! Change my mind, Sony!

I HIGHLY recommend everyone try the "Heroes vs. Villains" mode of SW Battlefront II. It's 4v4 with everyone picking one of the hero characters (Luke, Vader, Boba Fett, Rey, etc). Makes for a very different experience than the Battlefield-y other modes. Plus, it's just plain fun to use the hero characters without any restrictions!

AUUUGH! Gotta get a new PS4, or wait until the PS5! Mine makes too much noise, consarnit!!!

I bought Black Ops 4 but it's the game I've played least since MW3. Felt like a value pack of 3 random games thrown together instead of a cohesive package. The battle royale mode was especially bad, IMHO, since it felt too much like a dirty rip-off of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.

I read in another article it was supposed to be a 2v2 campaign at first, I guess maybe kinda like Titanfall 1's multiplayer "campaign" (if you ever played that game, it was certainly not anything you could call a real campaign, lol).

I've always been intrigued by the "hero" characters of Black Ops 3 and 4 and wish they had their own big story to blast through (in co-op). Oh well.

@playstation1995 Too bad they didn't make the game available earlier for Memorial Day! Woulda been cool to play thru the campaign this weekend. I already have the game, and hope others enjoy it!

This is the one where you can watch watch people open loot boxes, which I always found hilarious. Fun game if you don't mind the lack of automatic weapons slathered in attachments.

So far, all I know about the PS5 is that it looks like a booster seat you put on a toilet to train toddlers, and that Godfall and Observer are examples of what the games will look like.

As far as first impressions go, that is absolutely HORRIBLE, lol. I'm definitely not blown away and out-of-my-mind excited like with the PS4's reveal. Let's see something!

My dudes, did you not read who's developing this? People Can Fly, the developers of Bulletstorm! That's what made me instantly excited!

I'll admit that it looks generic (if you showed me a screenshot, I'd say, "Oh, that's Destiny") but the third-person view is a welcome change (let's see that gear! Unique head, shirt, legs, and shoe pieces) and the gameplay I've seen so far looks like it'll have abilities not seen in any other looter shooter (time-freeze bubble, warping, etc).

I'm pumped!
