Did not look a the video no need to see anything about the game until I play it next year. If it was polished and perfect then the game would be releasing now. The game is 4 months away or longer so they will of course be working on it and patches for day one etc.
Another point not really relevant to the article why do they show any game footage for future games? Its an awards ceremony not an advert for up and coming games. There are enough events throughout the year to show off games. An award ceremoney should just be that. You do not get trailers for movies at the Oscars.
One man does not make a company. You can not judge the output of Konami based on what is released next year you need to be looking 3 or 4 years then judge them. Konami will carry on and produce games. Its always tough when an influencial employee leaves a company but you evolve and move on which is what they are doing.
Its a good start for sure. I got the game for £18 new from Amazon after filling out one of their surveys which gave me some free credit. Looking forward to playing will save it for Christmas. I would not want the franchise to end with this game.
Was initially excited for this offer but for most of those games it should be buy one game get 2 more free. Broken Swords I picked up for $5 canadian dollars so thats about £3. Bot really any good offers there better waiting till the Christmas/New Year Sales
Judging by the reaction to this months games PS Plus (from all over the web) are a really mistreated bunch of gamers who are really down on their luck. People expect so much more for the £3 ish we pay a month for cloud storage of game saves, discounts throughout the year, games on PS3 PS4 Vita and online gaming. Choosing games for PS Plus is an impossible task no matter what games are chosen there will always be unhappy customers. I rarely play any of the PS Plus I either have therm already or working my way through other games. But they are there for a rainy day.
This game is great in so many ways just makes you smile when you play it. But for the life of me I do not understand the decision not to have multi-player so you can create and build qith other users. Creative games like these benfit so much more when like minded players come together and make something truly great.
Got this on PC but will also get in on PS4. My only issue is that the game is not finished its still in alpha/beta on the PC. So we will get a similar situation to 7 days to die where the game keeps evolving on PC but will probably not receive the same level of support on console. If they o support it well thats fine but we will wait and see. The PS4 needs a lot more games like these as long as they run well.
This game must be 3 or more years away not sure why they would reveal any more details. This will suffer the same hype train that games get when they are revealed way too early. It might be one of those games that ends up on PS5 not PS4.
I welcomed communities when they first arrived but some things irritate me about them. Someone posts an image you view it then you have to go all the way back to the top of the message list. Which on a community with 10,000 members with messages is a nightmare. There are no official communities for games only ones which have been created by players. Official communties for games would be a good way to feedback to developers and for them to give out information. I use them to find people to game with but there are a lot of useless communities out there. This is not an app I would use.
This is a great game you will easily spend 30 hours on and never notice where the time has gone. The only concern I have is how well the controls will translate from PC to console.
I thoght Dragon Age Inquisition was a great game. I always love Bioware games so whatever they make I will definatly buy it. Mass Effect Andromida is the only game I am hyped for next year.
I would not say the multi player was a tacked on money grabber there was never any need to buy the packs as you earned a lot of points just from playing mulitplayer. Lots of different characters and skills to unlock. It never cost any extra money to play multi player.
I think PS Plus provides great value even if it was just the cloud saving for games I would be happy. I have made so many savings as well through ps plus discounts.Along with that you have vita and PS3 games. I am only paying £32 a year no one pays the £40 you can always get it discounted down. At the moment from a certain store you can get ps plus sub and £20 psn credit for $49.99. So only works out at £30. I think Ps Plus games should be smaller indie games I would much rather see them supported than big AAA titles.
Absolutly love the multi player on mass effect 3. Played it a lot more than other online games. You could get the galatic readiness fine without playing the multiplayer in Mass Effect 3 as long as you did all the missions correctly.
I thought Cyber Monday was a day when there were the most sales online not really a day of actual discounts so thats probably why you are not finding many deals.
There is a flash sale on on the PSN store until December 1st on EU but for some reason they are not advertising it on the store webage. If you go to hotukdeals and search under ps4 someone has posted all the prices.
Not sure the game was rushed out for "sony profit". I always expected this game to evolve over time and think this is a very positive move forward. This game was on my radar then off but now its back on again. Not a game I would want to pay £40 for but certainly one I will get in the sales.
Gamers build up hype for a game. Games almost always change in terms of graphics and gameplay from what is first shown.
I think this game can evolve into something better than when it was released. The problem is no one trusts the Sean and the players have long deserted this game. I have not played it but I do enjoy base building so will probably pick it up at some stage.
I was excited when you mentioned Monkey Island and Broken Sword two of my favourite series of games. The point and click with strong good story and puzzles is something that has got lost over the years. I will pick this up just not straight away.
I would rather have games sooner than waiting. If a games good I buy it. Does not matter when its released now or 6 months time.
From a Business and revenue point of view it can alter when games are released. If the financial year ends december 31st then they want heavier weight of releases towards the end of the year. If it ends on March 31st then they want better figures before the new financial year starts. The Christmas period sells a lot of games people have a lot less money come january/febuary they are paying off credit cards etc.
There is not really anything that Sony of making that I am interested in next year. That might change.
Tesco have a good offer on guitar hero live for £19.99 There is also £10 off 2 games but can only find a few games with that offer tagged so not that useful.
@minerwilly yeah I just saw happy days I also have a £7 voucher as well so even cheaper.
@nathanSF Curry's have always been dubious with their sales. Increasing the price in a few stores for 28 days and then discounting down to the sale price.
Argos prices vary quite a lot over the year with sales. I do find that the sale prices if you catch them right are decent though.
Black Friday has some bargains in relation to certain products. But I do not think technology is one of them. You get good offers on on products that are not that good in the first place ie TV's
@anguspuss I think the Game stores vary the store near me is decent with good staff and the manager is always friendly and chatty even giving me free promotional items. Prices are too high and I also think they should price match the online Game prices which would help. They are good for trading in for the fact they price match and beat CEX by a £1 for trading in games/consoles etc.
I like having a store in the high street where you can look at games and ask questions. Supermarkets have a few games but they are clueless when you ask them anything. Game does need to adapt but it would be a shame if they stopped because all you would be left with is online retailers like amazon/simply games etc
If people are not wanting to pay full price or reasonable price for games then sequels will not get made and there will be a lot less variety in the games we are able to get for the console.
I will buy some games over Black friday but the games I really wanted I already got day one. Some people will always wait for games to be discounted others will be new and and day one. That will never change. Its just now there are more discount offers quicker than ever before.
Get rid of black Friday and Halloween they have no place here.
If anyone is interested John Lewis seem to be price matching most deals on games. You need to fill out a form but you can order even if they are out of stock. They will be price matching Titanfall 2 HMV price of £20 well if thats a real deal will find out tomorrow.
As for PS Pro deals people seem to be getting cheap ones off amazon do not think they are new but might have scratches on them and selling for about £250. Check out hotukdeals for one of the posts there he explains how to get them.
Morrisons are selling some PS4 games cheap tomorrow so check out in store. Watch dogs 2 is £32 in tesco at the moment.
Game has Infinite warfare and the remaster for £50. Looks like Infinite Warfare is dropping like a stone in price might end up like Battleborn. Never seen so many bad reviews for the mulitplayer on a call of duty game.
I am looking out for Overwatch £25 will be my biting point for that game. Apart from that not much else I want. Decent sale on Steam for PC games as well.
There are certanly deals to be had but think some of them will sell out really quick.
Pretty much all the prices you linked can be fond cheaper at other places. Check Hotukdeals PS4 and you will find a lot of deals its updated constantly.
Battlefront is worth it without the season pass. People tend to play the season pass bits when they first come out and then stop playing. But the base game maps are still getting good numbers of players. Its a steal at that price.
Some great deals. If you are not in the US just set up a Canadian account they tend to have the best deals. Because for the cheaper games they just use the same price in $ as USA. Also if your buying credit from certain websites they do not charge extra for canadian PSN cards. But with US cards they tend to add on an extra fee.
This is a great game and better in a lot of ways than Watch Dogs. I do hope sales pick up I got it day one and have no regrets. I would like this series to get more sequels in the future. If people wait till it discounts down or get it 2nd hand later on then the chances of a sequel are very slim. People critise Ubisoft for their games but they really listened to feedback after the first game so should be congratulated for that.
There is a lack of variety in ceratin genres and over abundance in others. if I like a game and there are 4 or 5 out in month will get them all. But then it might be 6 months before I get another game. I always pre-order games like the extras you get and often paying less for the game.
I buy day one because I want to spport the developer and get them maxiumum money for the game. I diasgree that games do not provide value in terms of performance or money on day one. Also for small games companies they cannot always afford to wait for the revenue.
I liked Uncharted 4 and thought the game looked good. But I downgraded my view of the game from a 10 to an 8. I played it once and have had not desire to pick it up again.
Agree with a lot of points from the previous post. I enjoyed the first game a lot for many different reasons. I think Ubisoft listened to the feedback from the first game I remember getting emails asking how it could be improved and they took this info on and created a better game in every way. it will not be everyones taste just like all games. But for me I am very happy with the reslts the visals are really good as well.
Loved the first game and spent far more time on it than I did with GTAV. I was going to wait for this game but ended up buying it yesterday. I know there is a lot of hate out there for Ubisoft games but they are one of my few goto companies for games becase I know I will enjoy them,

How much of that is actually true? Thats one side of the story there is so much bad blood blood between him and konami
