Sometimes businesses people make critical decisions that average people know it's a failure. But they insist on their stupid decisions, mostly due to their inflated ego. Imagine this 3.2b could've been spent on several potentially profitable games with 1st or 3rd party studios...

@Dadou wow Shadow Man maybe the 1st 3D metroidvania before the term existed. I can remember on that time reviewers were blaming it for having to go back and forth to a same lcation duringvthe gameplay but now praising such games! All was great except its utterly stupid ending. Anyway, it has a special place in my heart along with the entire Legacy of Kain series

Raziel and Kain, best characters in video game history imo. I'm still reading about the rich world of Nosgoth after more than 20 years when I first played the original soul reaver back in 1999. Never gets old

My comment may be irrelevant but this article took me to more than two decades back when Enix didn't want to merge with Square for a period of time due to the financial stuff happened and my hopes of Sony to acquire Square back then after successful relationship between the two in the PS1 era. Sigh... it never happened

@MrGilly69 why Sony would support second hand market? They gain nothing by those trades. Here in Australia, we have 3 physical chain stores that run by second hand games and not a penny goes to Sony from them

@Retron example: Okami, best game none played and a sales flop! No, ART doesn't sell, people want fun not art. Also, nowadays advertising is among the top factors to get the average customers hyped to buy the game so that the developers survive for the next project. Just have a look at so many of them lost their jobs because of poor sales

I always say Puppeteer and Tearaway should’ve been or should come to Switch as well. Esp Puppeteer got lost with a poor decision on when an where to release. It's still the most hidden gem imo

We're going back to PS2 era. Buying the ps console for all the games, not just exclusives. Sony was losing the leading role in ps3 era so it shifted towards exclusives, now that period is gone they're happy by gaining 30% from sales of all multiplatforms by just being a best platform!
