@WiiWareWave Pro yes but it needs to support PS5 and Xbox series S/X if they want to stick to this gen.

I can understand the need for profitability but they need to avoid a repeat of Cyberpunk's release. If the game is not coming out by about 2028 then it really should be a next gen only game unless UE5 scales down really well.

@bindiana To be fair this studio only has 5 people so they don't want to overstretch themselves.

Thanks for posting this. I've had my eye on since it released on Xbox so I'm glad that a Playstation version in the works.

Personally I was hoping for the Helgast to be a faction rather then just some cosmetics.

This is why I never took the Sony censorship stories seriously in the first place because it was mostly crass sex appeal.

@twitchy_emu92 I think that's why we're seeing games getting ported to more platforms now because budgets keep going up but the console market (at least for PlayStation and Nintendo) plateau around the 110 to the 130 million mark.

@Kingy I think 1.4 will conclude the whole story with Sacrifice and the whole coverup. But maybe the story with Fairy and the other AIs will be the next arc.

My top 2 are Astro Bot and FF7 Rebirth.

Rebirth was hugely ambitious and does fall a bit short in the technical department. But I felt like I was on an epic journey with a party and that's been a rare thing for me.

Having said that, one of the reasons why I wanted a PlayStation AllStars sequel was because I thought that would be the perfect platform that's a celebration of PlayStation's lineage, in the same way Smash Bros was for Nintendo.
But then came Astro Bot, and somehow Team Asobi managed to scratch that nostalgia itch without losing what makes Astro special. Over that launch weekend I didn't want to stop playing but at the same time I didn't want to finish it too quickly. Just pure platforming joy.

Usually those type of announcements are more glorified job ADs tbh.

It'll be interesting to see how it does cos Xbox have barely marketed the game, which seems to be par for the course with their game pass titles.

I do find it a bit strange that the reviews barely mention any action set-pieces considering the IP, seems like most of game is stealth and puzzle solving.

I got my PS1 in Christmas 97, which was a couple of years after the system came out in the UK. I originally wanted a Sega Saturn because my older brother had one. But weirdly he put me off it because he said and I quote "stop copying me".
Anyway for whatever reason I gravitated towards PlayStation, I think partly because of games like Crash Bandicoot and Tekken were proving popular. Plus the commercials they had here were very memorable such as the "second life" advert.

Christmas 1997 was when my Playstation journey began.
I had little idea of how integral the platform would become to my source of entertainment throughout the years.

Why on earth would Microsoft want them? They have no knowledge on how to handle the anime and manga business, it just smacks that they were interested just so Sony didn't get them.

Pity they didn't find time to bring the Arcane characters back.

I gave it a 7. It's a perfectly serviceable family game. Loved the full commitment to the Lego aesthetic but I wish there was a bit more variety in its levels and interactivity.

@MFTWrecks I don't think it is a controversial opinion. I think many have found it a refreshing change from the more realistic MCU aesthetic.

Just give me Marvel Snap with PlayStation characters and Sony can have my money.

I was actually a bit disappointed when Blood Omen 2 was announced for Plus because like @Nem said, I was hoping for a Blood Omen 2 and Defiance remaster.

@Golem25 Well what do you suggest? Should Sony not try? Horizon is a successful franchise but for some bizarre reason it's success gets scrutinized far more then Sony's other games. No one seems to question Uncharted or God of War so what makes Horizon different?

Would be nice if we stopped using Steam for what's deemed a "success".

It'll be interesting to see what art style they go with cos I can't see it having the same fidelity as the main games for online, just can't see it been doable.

Chumbawamba's Tub Thumping is a song I associate with late 90's English football culture. Never thought in a million years it would appear in anything to do with Horizon.
It's a good job the commercial short because the second verse goes into what alcoholic drinks they drank, which would make things even weirder.

I found it to be an immense disappointment sadly. Graphically it was pretty awful and while yes it was a beta, it's also a marketing tool that's meant to sell you on the game and Capcom looked at it and thought "that'll do"
But the worse part for me was the ridiculous party system, me and my nephew tried for 30 minutes and we couldn't set it up so we could be in the same world outside of camp.
Partying up in a game should be easy by, send invite...friend joins... let's play but for some reason Capcom makes it way more complicated.
So out of frustration I just deleted the game and told my nephew I'm just going to play Horizon instead.
