I power down, my kids use rest mode.

If it took longer to boot I'd probably rest mode too, but as it's quicker than my tv, never felt in a rush to get going.

2nd was much better than the first and the co-op mode was fun.

An "It Takes Two" style Knack 3 with dualsense integration could be great.

I have 10 seasons of battle pass v bucks saved up to blow on something just like this.

Enjoyed DiscJam a lot until the player base died and queues took forever, be interesting to see if this can hold up longer term.

Pretty sure (and have been for ages) that Factions is not going to be a DLC (paid or free) and be whole new stand alone game set in tlou world.

They're spending too much time and have too big a team working on it for it not to be.

Playing nothing. Finished TLOU2 Monday night /Tuesday morning and promised myself a week off. I'm too old to be binging 24 hours of gaming over a weekend.

The game left me completely emotionally drained. Can't get it out of my head though. Might have to dive straight back in after some reflection.

When compared to other forms of entertainment; £10 for a trip to the cinema, £15 for a bluray, £25 for a football ticket, £40+ for a music concert, spending £50 on a 15 hour game seems like a bargain.

I'd rather get a 10 hour long Uncharted sequel every 3 year, than a 25 hours one 5 years apart.

I too struggle through longer games, I've got Control, Spiderman, God of War and HZD unfinished because they seem to drag quite a bit.

That said, I did just complete TLOU2 in a weekend. Worth every penny.

100%. Platinum'd last week, slow walk through, no skipped cut scenes.

I bought a Ps4, my first games console since the n64, to play this game after reading about it. (I'm 36).

4 years and 10 playthroughs later, I platinum'd this past weekend. Nothing else I've played comes close. Though my teenager would say otherwise.

Adjustable font sizes are a must, no reason why it shouldn't be compulsory. Not just subtitles either, even with a big TV reading settings menus and HUDs can be annoyingly difficult.

I think we'll not get too much detail until after TLOU2 has been released.

I'm expecting a TLOU world set multiplayer stand alone game called "Factions".

I both want to watch and not watch at all. Conflicted.

I do wonder if they'll drop The Last of Us as a ps plus title at some point before part 2 comes out. Boost the multiplayer and flog a few more dlc packs.

HYPED is an understatement, I honestly don't care about anything else PlayStation related. Not the PS5, not Death Stranding, not even the new purple dualshock.

I'm getting so excited I could pee. Only upcoming game I have any interest in.

@Callmegil no reason for them to be, purely my own thinking. I've been working on the assumption, that 'if' tlou2 was to release in 2019, then it'd be November, with DS now 99% confirmed to have that date, that almost guarantees tlou is a 2020 release.

RDR2; when I stopped bothering with side quests or trophy tasks and stuck to the main story missions.

@Boucho11 I've 'heard' about & been aware of plenty of them, what I wrote was that I haven't 'played' any of them.

Just checked through the last 18 months of PS Plus games and can honestly say I haven't played any of the free games other than Trials Fusion (June 2018), plan to play both of these, so a great month for me.

Edith Fitch has been on my list for ages, so I'd be happy with that, and Overcooked would be good to play with my kids, so (potentially) a good month for me.

First Fortnite event I remembered to log in for and thought it was great fun, my two kids and my wife (who hates Fortnite) thought it was brilliant.

I'm old enough to have read 36 of these books to my kid, who is now old enough to think this game is beneath him.

A shame it's poo, as the source material (which is also not great) has potential.
