Re: Review: Dissidia Final Fantasy NT (PS4)

I got the game for $30 pretty much right off the bat, so for what I paid, I feel there's enough going right to overlook some of the issues I have with the game (that being the almost mandatory 3v3). Solid cast, though a few odd people thrown out. I was hoping Gabranth would be in it, and he still might be in Wave 2 DLC, but for now it's good enough.

Also holy jeez those Exdeath buffs to speed are wicked.

Gabranth definitely needs to return, and I wouldn't mind if Zack and Genesis made it in, too (or at least Alt costumes for Cloud and Sephiroth, respectively!).
Also, any Crystal Chronicles fans out there? I desperately yearn for either Alhanalem or Amidatelion to join the fight! Gimme my birb-armors!

@ToddlerNaruto Current job was good, then was bad for about 5 months when they moved me to a new department, but now it's good again because I'm back to my original department. Also, I can talk (mostly) properly again which be good, and I'll be moving back up home soon-ish, so that is also good!

I had a similar problem when I worked at Target, and when I brought it up to the HR Rep I was unaware that the person who was doing that to me and the HR Rep were best buddies. I ended up being demoted, got a pay cut, and they cut my hours in more then half. It was the exact definition of retaliation which Target claims they would never do, and not a single person would help me with it. Big companies will always try to cover themselves even if they're in the wrong, it seems.

@KitsuneNight 2 is still probably my favorite for the lone reason of character variety. 3 was pretty good and at one point I was so good at it I could just juggle enemies without them having a chance to fight back (not so much anymore), but this one is just... Odd..
The music is a huge issue for me, and the game suffers all around because of HORRID sound design. When you start a match, you have to wait like 3 seconds before you can actually fight and there's no music or sounds at ALL. I thought my game was defective at first, but no... It's like that on purpose!

Re: Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite Fixes Chun-Li's Face

@KitsuneNight It's usually the AI being unfairly difficult with perfect combos and impossible reaction times (like most VS game bosses in the arcade days).
The controls are fine for me, but the attacks all have a slight delay behind them because it shows them winding up and attacking. Kind of realistic, but not the most fun in practice.

@KitsuneNight Heh, I really don't get why people think it's SO bad. I mean sure, even as a fan I can admit it's not great. Probably pretty mediocre, but I've played worse for sure. Plus it's the only Star Wars game that I'm aware of that has Jodo Kast in it (his story is pretty funny IMO), basically a bootleg Boba Fett with plastic armor. XD

Re: Rumour: Super Street Fighter V Will Finish the Game for Free

Well we know Blanka is in the sidelines of Season 2 waiting to be released, but I secretly hope that Hakan makes the roster too. SF5 is a good game, but it's a shoddy, empty mess at the same time.
While I doubt Capcom would do this, I'd love to eat my words and have them prove me wrong.

Re: Job Simulator Studio Snapped Up by Google

@get2sammyb It's very much a 360 degree adventure. A lot of things you couldn't access just by having a 270 degree field to play with. I think the challenge to bring it down, and hurdles that it would have to cross would make it a lot less likely to be ported over. I wouldn't say it's impossible, but more unlikely then I would like to admit.
Of course, they DID do a great job bringing Job Simulator from a 360 to 270, so it's not outside the realm of plausibility. I wouldn't mind if the PS4 got a little... Schwiftier, if you catch my drift~

@get2sammyb I actually already ordered this game for $35. I was quite shocked to get it for that price during launch week. O_O
