As others have said, it still doesnt feel like this generation has got off the ground properly so speaking of an upgrade feels poorly timed. Does that mean with the pro we will be getting 4K and 60fps on every game (that isnt cross gen of course) like what was touted for the normal bog standard PS5?
My first taste of this series was Gtyzor (as it was called in the UK) on the ZX Spectrum. Got the Contra Collection on the Switch and of course the entries with the SNES games with NSO. I guess I was a little surprised at the price point of this entry. Without thinking I was expecting this to be closer to the £25 mark when I first heard it.
My Extra Sub is up this month and I have downgraded to Essential. Just wasnt getting the use of it. Either games I alreaady had or games I didn't have interest in. Anything I am truly interested in, in the selection I will just buy I think.
However, I wish it was easier to see what games in your library are part of Essential (Monthly Games) and those included as part of a higher tier. They appear to all be lumped into the filter of PS Plus.
@Titntin Thanks for that. Seems a fair price. I had already renewed by Extra partly on the basis of this game but just thought it strange there was no mention of price until it actually launched.
Hogwarts Legacy. I hope its as good as it looks. I haven't pre-ordered yet as physical deluxe went quick so will wait on reviews to be absolutely sure and then grab on 6th. I have this slight worry that it just looks too good to be true despite all the gameplay trailers and reveals and previews backing up the fact it looks fantastic...
I did a upgrade to Extra and my renewal is up in February. Didn't pay much to upgrade for the short period of time but I will cancel and revert to Essential on renewal. Just haven't got the use out of it to justify the cost as I have GP on Xbox. I am glad people are seeing the value in the service though. Hopefully new subs with this offer will drive it forward more and I wouldn't say know to dipping back again in the future.
Pass for me. The games that interest me I already own and I can't see the value currently for me personally based on whats left. That said I hope people that do upgrade get the value out of it. Although it sounds like there are a few problems with the upgrade process and being charged. Also, I have seen a few incorrect labels which only adds to any confusion especially with a tiered system.
I have Game Pass but that doesn't mean I wouldn't get this in the future but just not yet. For me it will be what is added going forwards with new stuff...
7 and by far my best score. Not many guesses - they were all wrong. The Rampage question and the fact I knew it made me smile. Took me back a few years...
I really need to play this through again. First and only time I played it, I think it was two sittings, but the finish I was virtually in tears. Such an experience from such a simple concept. The connection with a stranger you couldn't fully communicate with sharing the same world and together trying to reach the end... just breathtaking at times. I totally get that its not everyones cup of tea mind...
Pre-ordered the Anniversary Edition on the day it became available. I am so pumped for this. I am not brilliant at driving games but decent enough to enjoy them. Always loved the idea of slowly building up from the lower rank of cars to the better tiers. Oil changes, car washes and maintenance on a car along with the more detailed tuning all add to the connection you have with the car I think.
I don't usually go for difficult games. I have Demons Souls on PS5 and while I enjoyed it, I didn't get too far; well I am still battling away now and then. I just love the atmosphere and being there in the environment. I am in two minds with this. Its not a huge price compared to other PS5 games, GT7 is around the corner but the idea of the open world and exploring and maybe avoiding or picking your encounters has me intrigued.... Its does look absolutely amazing.
The reason I got a PS1 after playing this round a mates house. Just blown away by it. I still have the original disc in the double case that some PS1 games came in. Fond memories and if I try I can see still hear her screams when she fell from the tower in St Francis' Folly level and the fact it was that high she actually stopped screaming before the bone crunching landing at the bottom!
I am having issues where my Cold War (digital) and Avengers (disc) game data corrupts when they update; basically they don't update and then when I launch the games they are corrupted. Completed a Factory Reset a couple of days ago and am waiting patiently for the next update to see if thats fixed it. Maybe this update will help...

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Astro Bot?
Who voted it as abysmal? No matter how good a game is theres always one.... or in this case more than one.

Should imagine I will pick it up but not yet...

Re: Tchia (PS5) - Unique Island Adventure Is a Joyful, Creative Playground
I know it's on PS Extra but out of curiosity does anyone know the price? Just checked the store and it still only allows WishList and Follow.
Re: Resident Evil 4 (PS5) - A True Masterpiece Made Even Better
@Marquez Me too, I have not played a RE game since the first one on PS1.
I would love to get into these games and was tempted with RE2 remake on sale but sadly survival and horror are a combination that doesn't work for me!

Is it known when the update goes live? In the UK and just tried my disk and checked update and nothing popped about any update?
UPDATE: It is now live
Re: Best PSP Games
Just dug out my PSP 1000 and am looking to try and pick up some games so this is a handy list.
