You'd think there would be a permanent price drop before it happens. So many indie and retro games I played on xbox360 I could be tempted by for a lower price, e.g. Hell Yeah Wrath of the Dead Rabbit and Assassin's Creed 2, but it probably won't happen
In between houses so doing things like building a new hutch for my ferrets and fixing up any damages so barely any time for gaming but I'll play some of Fill A Pix when the time comes up. Maybe some Red Dead Redemption 2 online as well.
I got the plat in this last week. Great game. I hated it in 2007 but loved it in 2019. I think it was too ahead of its time on ps2 but feels right now that western rpgs and mmos have become so much more popular since when this first came out.
Not much time for gaming this weekend as we are working on the house we bought and have the keys for but I'll try to fit in some hollow knight and red dead online when I can.
Final Fantasy 12. Filling the bestiary. When it is almost done there will be no excuse not to fight Yiazmat and Omega Mark. I'm getting so close to the platinum. I must get it to complete my trio of ps2 final fantasy plats.
Lego Marvel Superheroes 1. Just got all minikits. Now I'm hunting all Stan Lee and gold bricks and character tokens which is never fun. This game clearly shows its age but is enjoyable enough. The last lego game I have to finish before star wars so just getting it out of the way.
I really hope they'll make the stupidity of Luke being butchered and Rey being overpowered as funny as possible. Oh and give us the old way of no voice acting at least as an option.
But I cannot wait. I've been playing through the older lego games to get ready for this and oh man some have not aged well. From team mates being unable to kill enemies unless you do it yourself to constantly respawning enemies that get in the way when you are trying to throw items. It gradually all got better but it started out not so well.
But hey, this looks very promising and could well be the perfect lego game. I have the Han in carbonite steelbook preordered and will definitely book the day off work to play it.
Hopefully the next one will be lego mcu the infinity saga. Lego avengers was good but it's not even half the story. A game featuring all films leading up to the end of phase 3 would be legend, wait for it...
I'm letting my ps plus membership end in June once red dead online and borderlands 3 are done. The current price feels too much but if they increase it to keep up with Microsoft, I won't be getting it again in the future
I just got the final misc trophies on Infamous Second Son so I'm about to start the evil and hardest playthrough. Hopefully it won't be too bad and that will be my 2nd platinum of the year when it's done.
I can't wait for Kena. The gameplay and graphics remind me of launch games from previous generations like StarFox Adventures and Kameo. Although I expect this will be better than both games combined.
And of course Horizon 2, God of War 2 and Ratchet and Clank 2. I may have to get a ps5 this year π
I'm currently doing the dlc and survivor playthrough on shadow of the tomb raider. I feel like if I downloaded it to sell the disc, it would just sit unplayed on the library for a while so I'll stick with the disc.
I wonder what is next. An Assassin's Creed game or Uncharted Lost Legacy perhaps?
Shadow of the Tomb Raider dlc challenge tombs. Passing them on time attack is tough but getting medals on score attack is gonna be even harder. Then I may start the hardest difficulty.
What a disaster. This will be forever remembered much like other cases, e.g. red ring of death, lack of games on 3ds release, ps3 European delay to spring 07, ET and the Atari and console collapse of the 80s.
And the saddest thing is that this could have been avoided so easily.
Why can't there be at least 2 reviews. 1 when the game released and 1 when it is finished. It's 5/10 on pure Xbox is well deserved and I'd like to see something like it here.
Because of the true trophies Xmas challenge I'm playing games I've not touched for months like ni no Kuni 2, mirrors edge catalyst and sleeping dogs. Great games.
And aiming for completed game 250 when I plat darksiders 1 later. Great game but I'm not gonna bother with the sequels. It's great but not that great.
I'm hoping to get this for Xmas. On the switch of course because I loved playing 9 on ds and 8 on 3ds. Playing these games on a handheld has always been more enjoyable so I won't get it on ps4. Plus it probably has a brutal trophy list π€£
I've been so hooked on red dead redemption 2 this week. Did the first 2 chapters when I bought the game a year ago but lost interest. But since playing it this week I've absolutely loved it. Almost done with the story.
As I type, I am sitting through the end credits of Rogue Galaxy so maybe some post-game content. Great game but this isn't the NES era. So hard at times. nearly every chapter forces an unfair solo fight where you are constantly healing with items. And the lack of magic in the game doesn't help. Otherwise it's awesome and the lack of obvious loading times that plagued Dragon Quest 8 on PS2 is heavenly.
After that, maybe a game I've not played for months. Red Dead 2 or the hardest difficulty playthrough of Darksiders 1 perhaps.

Re: Mini Review: Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse (PS4) - A Truly Bizarre Relic from Gamingβs Past
Damn. I played this 10 years ago but never got anywhere near the end. I wonder if this will be patched.
Re: Still Brilliant PS2 RPG Final Fantasy XII Is 15 Years Old Today
@Jimmer-jammer I gotta admit XII reminds me of VIII in places with enemies like the t rexes π
Re: Best PS4 RPGs
I haven't played it but from the amount of love FF7R gets, how can it be so low?

Re: CDPR's Blockbuster RPG Cyberpunk 2077 Now Nearing Three Months Missing from PS Store
They deserve this for releasing a game that clearly wasn't ready. I do wonder if they will give up on the ps4 version and just focus on the ps5 gen.
Re: PS4's Communities Feature to Be Shut Down, Sony Confirms
This is a shame as I only joined one two weeks ago.

Shenmue 3 dlc bought. I guess I better install the disc later so the dlc installs π

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 365
Ff12 aiming to beat more hunts and espers. Maybe my 2nd playthrough of the Witcher 3 after.
Re: Worry No Longer, Kena: Bridge of Spirits Is a $40 Game
As much as I want this game, Β£50 would have been way too high.
I'm so glad it's a much fairer price. Day 1 buy now.
Digital only? Are they insane? This feels like a modern Rare game and deserves a disc release.
I guess I'm not getting it until they release it properly.
Re: Kena: Bridge of Spirits Dated for August on PS5, PS4
I am so hyped for this. 2 days before my birthday too π
Re: Talking Point: What Free March 2021 PS Plus Games Do You Want?
Ubtitled Goose Game and the Ezio Collection will do nicely.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 364
I'm not feeling well so something that takes no effort is all I can do.
Grinding my level for endgame hunts in Final Fantasy 12 is perfect.
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Approaching Two Months Absent from PS Store
Good. Hopefully this will be a lesson to other publishers who think they can get away with this.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 363
Ni No Kuni 2. Beating the story and more platinum trophy grinding.
Re: Stardew Valley's Massive Update 1.5 Is Out Now on PS4, Adds Local Co-Op, New Locations, Quests, More
Any new trophies?

Red dead 2 online and completing another Axiom Verge playthrough. Maybe start lego marvel 1

I imagine it will follow up from 7. I guess I should play that game asap but I'm just too scared π€£
Re: PS Store Sells Yakuza Series for Peanuts, But You've Got to Be Quick
This is tempting but as I got Shenmue 3 for Christmas, I feel like I should play that first, and then pick these up on the next sale.
Re: New PS Store Sale Includes Loads of Super Cheap PS4 Games
As I got the platinum in Infamous Second Son last week, I was happy to see First Light on sale so I bought that.
Re: Soapbox: 2021 Is the Year to Tackle Your Backlog, Because So Many Games Are Going to Be Delayed
Fine with me. I still have so much to get through, I'm not even interested in a ps5.
Wii downloads, one GBA game as well as PS4 and Switch backlog. There's just no need for a new console.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 359
RDR2 online to get the real deal trophy and then working on level 50.
Then some more Owlboy. Great game but why no map? Coin collecting will be horrible
Re: Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 Update Adds Sonic the Hedgehog and Much More
Excellent. I got the plat in puyo Tetris 1 in the summer. It's a great game but I think I'll save this for after i get Tetris effect.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 353
I just beat the epilogue on red dead redemption 2. What an ending.
Now I'll return to Darksiders 1 and continue with the pretty fun download, One Night Stand.
Re: Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age (PS4) - One of the Best JRPGs Ever Made Just Got Even Better
I'm hoping to get this for Xmas. On the switch of course because I loved playing 9 on ds and 8 on 3ds. Playing these games on a handheld has always been more enjoyable so I won't get it on ps4. Plus it probably has a brutal trophy list π€£

Another reason why I'm not renewing my ps plus in May. Once I get those red dead 2 trophies of course .

I've been saying it all year but I really hope we'll get the Ezio Collection. Surely one AC game can't be far off with Valhalla being out.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 350
Cat Quest 2 and Ni No Kuni 2
