Re: Worry No Longer, Kena: Bridge of Spirits Is a $40 Game

As much as I want this game, Β£50 would have been way too high.

I'm so glad it's a much fairer price. Day 1 buy now.

Digital only? Are they insane? This feels like a modern Rare game and deserves a disc release.

I guess I'm not getting it until they release it properly.

I really hope they'll make the stupidity of Luke being butchered and Rey being overpowered as funny as possible. Oh and give us the old way of no voice acting at least as an option.

But I cannot wait. I've been playing through the older lego games to get ready for this and oh man some have not aged well. From team mates being unable to kill enemies unless you do it yourself to constantly respawning enemies that get in the way when you are trying to throw items. It gradually all got better but it started out not so well.

But hey, this looks very promising and could well be the perfect lego game. I have the Han in carbonite steelbook preordered and will definitely book the day off work to play it.

Hopefully the next one will be lego mcu the infinity saga. Lego avengers was good but it's not even half the story. A game featuring all films leading up to the end of phase 3 would be legend, wait for it...

I'm currently doing the dlc and survivor playthrough on shadow of the tomb raider. I feel like if I downloaded it to sell the disc, it would just sit unplayed on the library for a while so I'll stick with the disc.

I wonder what is next. An Assassin's Creed game or Uncharted Lost Legacy perhaps?

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 354

Because of the true trophies Xmas challenge I'm playing games I've not touched for months like ni no Kuni 2, mirrors edge catalyst and sleeping dogs. Great games.

And aiming for completed game 250 when I plat darksiders 1 later. Great game but I'm not gonna bother with the sequels. It's great but not that great.

As I type, I am sitting through the end credits of Rogue Galaxy so maybe some post-game content. Great game but this isn't the NES era. So hard at times. nearly every chapter forces an unfair solo fight where you are constantly healing with items. And the lack of magic in the game doesn't help. Otherwise it's awesome and the lack of obvious loading times that plagued Dragon Quest 8 on PS2 is heavenly.

After that, maybe a game I've not played for months. Red Dead 2 or the hardest difficulty playthrough of Darksiders 1 perhaps.
