Very nice. Will definitely be helpful moving forward. Just added it to my browser bookmarks. Thank you.
Just had a look at Darksiders III, a great game for anyone interested, but unfortunately it did not get the FPS improvement I was hoping for. Still hope it gets a patch to achieve this down the road. It will be a great improvement on a great game.
Love, love Nioh. My favorite new franchise of last generation. In fact, i might seriously double dip and buy the collection to support the franchise and hopefully convince Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja to continue the series ever so further.
@ThaBEN Yes, this franchise is part of the "souls" genre of games. Though it does have differences, the biggest one in my opinion being the combat and overall speed. Nioh's combat is vastly superior to that of any Dark Souls, and it is also faster. Excellent games and you sould definitely give them a try if you have not.
@AhmadSumadi I would be interested to find out who, if anyone, has the rights to the title. I know the studio that developed the game is no more, but I wonder if Sony has the rights to the title.
I still have my PS3 copy and you know what, i will do a playthrough this year for the first time in a long time.
I still have my copy brand new and sealed. Bought it years ago and left it on the shelve. It is part of my backlog but my backlog has been shrinking recently, which is good, because I will play this game sooner rather than later.
@Nepp67 I honestly think they have an agreement with Sony. They are a corporation, and I am sure they know how business works. They just have a unique way of making announcements, which can be hilarious.
Good luck to them. They definitely have earned some form of sympathy from the core gaming audience, or at least I like to believe so, for their past actions. Also, they are communicating which is crucial at this point in time. Hopefully everything gets resolved.
We should all wait for the dedicated PS5 version. A real shame, but they should of canceled the console versions (pre-PS5) and focused on the PC version.
Of course that is a ludicrous statement I have made since they would be neglecting a gigantic user install base but, I feel the game would of been better for it.
I am currently playing Matterfall on my PS4 Pro, made by the same development team. It is really fun. I am just ashamed I did not buy it when it was originally released to make sure the developers received the message that there is definitely a market out there for games like Matterfall.
I also have Nex Macchina but have yet to play it. But I will after Matterfall.
I definitely want to support this development studio with Returnal but I have no PS5, and do not plan on getting one until late 2021 or the year 2022. Hoping the games does well for them.
@DualshockInfinit The one they are debuting at the game awards is the one that was Japan exclusive, with the younger protagonist and I believe his sister.
The one I own is with the older protagonist and his daughter.
Hi have this game on PS3, part of my backlog. Infact it is still sealed.......lol. Need to correct that, and now that I have finished Enslaved Odyssey to the West, I will make Nier my next PS3 game to take off my backlog.
Still use it regularly, yes. I have a massive backlog of PS3 games I need to get to. Infact, today I started Enslaved Odyssey to the West, which I had, brand new and sealed for years. Looking forward to it since it is described as a hidden gem by many.
Same for me. When I buy a PS5, I will buy a disc-based PS5, just to play my entire PS4 library, which is primarily physical. I would say my entire PS4 library is 98% physical, bar a few games, and have well over 50 PS4 games.
But I plan on transitioning to digital with the PS5. We shall see how things go in a few years.
Nioh is my favorite experience from the PlayStation IV era. This was the game that helped me understand the "souls' genre, and I have been addicted to it since.
I also own Nioh II since launch and still have it sealed because I am trying to cut down my backlog, so I have yet to play it.
Great time to experience these games for those who have yet to experience them, I highly recommend them.
The combat system is superior to any of the pioneering Souls games, since it is faster and more intuitive, at least in my honest opinion.
My favorite studio from Bethesda, love the Dishonored franchise, it is bloody brilliant.
It is a well known as sad fact that a lot of Arkane games were critical successes, but not commercial successes unfortunately. Which is a shame since a lot of gamers are missing out on some gems.
I am definitely looking forward to this one since like was said in the article, could be the swan song for the studio on Sony platforms. I will wish them well, however.
Definitely a sensitive subject, especially while reading the comments. People are not happy and I definitely understand, more important things in life that £70 can buy. I will refrain from commenting myself and just say I will reluctantly accept this for now as see how it goes but I, like many, do have my limits.
Not getting a PS5 at launch unfortunately, but if I were, I would of bought Demon's Souls, Godfall, and Destruction All-Stars (to support the Liverpool and UK based developer), but since that will be free come February, Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition will take its place.
Have fun to everyone lucky and fortunate enough to enjoy the console in launch. Enjoy.
Very colorful game which is great to see. Colorful games used to be the norm, now they are a rarity, what happened?
Excited for it as well. I know it looks generic but if it does the generic things well, should be a fun game regardless of unoriginality. Oh, and like many, I love Greek mythology.
Great player. Also seems very humble. Would of loved to have seen him in Liverpool red but I am glad he has had a great career in the Bundesliga (which is my second favorite league to follow after the Premier League).
All the best for the PS5 in its early years as well as for its early adopters.
Looks great. I hope it live up to the expectations I have of it and it does well for the developers involved. I hope it surprises a few doubters as well since I know many are still unsure about the game, which is fair. Hoping for the best.
Never have tried this Ubi "ecosystem," nor have I ever tried the EA "ecosystem." But this certainly intrigues me from the standpoint of if, and when, more third party publishers will do these "ecosystem" type maneuvers. I can name a few publishers that have the history, catalog, and name recognition, to intent and make an "ecosystem" of their own. The future of gaming is going to be intriguing.
@MarcG420 Yes, I know that and in the grand scheme of things it is no big deal. It is just that the vast majority of the time the PS3 store frezzes. Not sure if it is just me with the problem but I do not think I am. It was far easier and simpler to buy games or dlc from the web, which is what I would do.
I do disagree with your second point however. I do not think Sony should ever shut down the PS3 store. People still play on said console and will continue to do so for the immediate future, particularly those without the means to upgrade or those in countries where the cost to upgrade is too steep. I do not think it is hard for Sony to maintain the PS3 store front. So a complete shutdown of it should never be in question.
I like the look of it. What I do not like was the exclusion of PS3 games. I still play the console, as do so many others. Not a worthy sacrifice in my opinion.
@KingPev Really enjoying it. I love the series, the first two were great games, in the action-adventure genre. I was expecting Darksiders III to be similar, but was unexpectedly surprised to be playing a Souls-like game.
The whole series is amazing and unfortunately overlooked. They should receive more praise.
Will try Darksiders Genesis once I am done with III.
@jimmydx Thanks for the information. I went to the Square Enix store and bought the so-called complete edition. It was advertised as perfect for people starting the game since it includes all expansions (at least the ones released up until today I presume).
Now I will upgrade by internet connection a bit, and start playing it on my PS4 Pro before eventually transitioning to the PS5 when I get it in the future.
I have been wondering if it was too late to get into this game. Is the community still active? Will Square Enix continue to support it, etc.? Have heard great things about it but I hardly play MMO's but like many, I love the Final Fantasy franchise.
With this news, I am happy to say a copy of this will now be sold. My only question is, which one do I get? There seems to be quite a few releases. Time to do some investigating.
If this is the case, I hope they update the store for the PS3 since it crashes quite often it is frustrating. Maybe just releasing an update to prevent this from happening would be more than enough.
@LiamCroft Mine as well. I hope, maybe, that there will be an option to choose your default color preference. Green would be my choice if that were the case
I am really looking forward to this game. If I was able to secure a launch PS5, this and Demon's Souls were going to be my game purchases but alas, it was not meant to be.
I hope it does well and meets or surpasses people's expectations because I know there are some who are still not entirely convinced about the game. Good luck to it.

@AdamNovice Actually, to be more precise, that text was from Deathloop, put as you have rightfully said, in the wrong trailer.

When I saw the word Folklore i jumped thinking a remaster might be coming. Alas not meant to be. A PS3 classic by my estimations Folklore is.

Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.05 Out Now on PS5, PS4, Promises Improved Stability, Main Quest Bug Fixes, Better Enemy AI, and More
17.5 GB for a patch.........crazy the state of modern gaming, and that we allow it to be as so.

Re: UK Sales Charts: Cyberpunk 2077 the Second Biggest Launch of 2020, Sells Best on PS5, PS4
I am personally waiting to buy a PS5, which will then allow me to buy the PS5 non-backwards compatible version of the game.
That said, if I had a capable PC, that would be my first choice on were to buy and play the game.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 354
Code Vein for me.
