Im excited. Many games i wanted to play but haven't bought for various reasons. Starting with Spiderman Miles Morales, Death Stranding directors cut and the South Park games, just to name a few
From what I hear the games not that great. Watched a few videos and read a few reviews, including here of course. Its a hard pass. So the cost doesn't matter for me. Hope those that love it bought it early.
@colonelkilgore Dragons Dogma is a great game. The pawn system was unique and fun. Also the ability to climb on monsters was fantastic. It is older so it has its hick-ups, but one of my favorite games. If you are one to watch videos on games, check Lemoneatingcow. I believe it was on youtube. He does a great job of explaining the game and great things to do. Lol just talking about it is making me reinstall it now.
First Fifa since ps1 days. Simple enough at least to start with the basics. Have to figure out how to do corner kicks though. I did pick up the fre pack, but doubt ill even open it.
Only positive for me with a possible buyout would be that we still can get the games vs Microsoft locking us out. Like I have been saying though I would still let it go to all platforms just a few years down the road.
@lolwhatno is mirage still a good character? His special saved my butt many times. The last new character when I played was the fast guy with trampolines. Any of the characters since then that you recommend?
@mucc I doubt Microsoft would be using their strategy if they are losing that much. However, if you have proof of that I would happily accept it. I do agree that buying up gaming companies is a bad play for consumers. At the very least I would hope they would only lock games for a few years to make the most money on their systems then make money on selling to other systems a few year down the road. For example I would gladly accept Starfield on my PS5 3 to 5 years from release. Microsoft makes money and can say play it here first for a few years. Wishful thinking I'm sure.
I did not read all of the comments so this may be a repeat statement. I understand that stacking seems like gaming the system however there seems to be a lawsuit in waiting here. For example, I go to a store and buy a gift for cousin John doe for Christmas the Subscription card that states with this you get one year of said subscription. However when you try and redeem it even a few weeks from now they value will not be for one year. Even if they claim the value you get now is more, it does not state that on the card, unless the fine print on the back has some legal jargon that protects Sony from lawsuits from making changes.Either way quite a big cluster F.
@Scob you seem very knowledgeable on this subject so I'll direct this question to you. When my psplus sub runs out at the end of May and I'll get premium in mid June due to my Now subscription, do you know if my psplus games from the past will be gone because of the 2 week absence?
@get2sammyb so in my Scenario, my psplus runs out at the end of May but my Psnow goes through next March. Will I need to get a couple months of psplus or just having Now get me premium?
Pleasantly surprised at this list. It will be my first fifa since ps1. The others I have wanted to try as well. I thought it would be a weak month with what is changing next month.
@Robinsad That was a big reason I like Divinity Original Sin 2. You could make your character OR chose from a great cast that had quite interesting storylines. The fact that yo< could do both was a great option to have.
This is great news as No Mans Sky has just gotten better and better. You also can't shrug at all the free updates. Looking forward to what they bring out next. (just not too early)
@LN78 I strongly second DoS2 or the first as well. The second is more refined. Fantastic game. Thinking about makes we want to play it again. Hopefully the studios new game Baulders Gate comes out of early access on PC and eventually makes its way to consoles as well
@Mgene15 nice. How do you like MLB 22? Baseball starting makes me want to pick it up. I was going to skip a year. I might just go with super mega baseball though as I have PSNOW for a year. Problem for for me with the show, is I can never seem to get the right camera angle for seeing pitch location for batting. Any suggestions?
I think big for Sony would be Fromsoftware. I dont know if they could afford something like,ea, ubi, or square. In the end I just hope if they do get anyone they keep it open for all platforms, even if its a year delay for some. I really dislike the exclusivity of the big 3. If the game is fun let it be playable for all.
Do we know how long the games will stay on the service? I don't have much time to game and if a game leaves the service too fast I'll have to many unfinished games and it won't worth the price.

@lolwhatno hmm might have to check it out now thanks for the info
Re: Everything You Need to Know About Apex Legends Newcomer, Newcastle
I haven't played since it first came out. Is it still playable for a noob or will many insta-deaths make downloading it again pointless.
Re: Final PS Now Game Lineup Revealed, Leaves Much to Be Desired
Looks like a solid lineup to me. Not sure why Liam panned it, unless he is joking then good on you sir.
Re: More Bosses, Weapons in Free Eldest Souls Expansion
Will hope for a ps premium add. Looks fun.
Side question: As a new psnow subscriber, why don't they announce psnow games ahead like they do psplus?

Re: Poll: What's Your PS5, PS4 Game of the Year So Far?
I voted for CK3 as I know it won't get much love on this site. It is tied with Elden Ring for first for me.

Awesome. Such a great game. The first time climbing biome 4, I believe, the louder and louder the pipes boomed. So memorable.

Played the tutorial for about an hour. A lot to wrap your head around, but I'm slowly getting the hang of it. Quite fun. I'm so glad it came to ps5.
Re: PS Plus, PS Now Merged Service Revealed, Goes Live in June
@themightyant ahh. Ok. I'll wait and see then.
My sub. Runs out at the end of may. I usually get psplus deals then but maybe not now as the new services start in June. I might have to let it lapse.
Re: PS Plus, PS Now Merged Service Revealed, Goes Live in June

Re: Rumour: PS Plus PS5, PS4 Games for April 2022 Leaked Early
Maybe Slay the Spire. A bit weak month, but that ok. Still have plenty in Elden Ring and later today CK3.
Re: Talking Point: What PS Plus Games for PS5, PS4 in April 2022 Do You Want?
@MrGilly69 if you don't mind isometric view. Divinity original sin 1 and 2. Turn based, but a truly awesome rpg. And Elden Ring of course.
Re: PSVR2 Is Playable at GDC and Is Already Blowing Minds
