I can image game hostage negotiations going like this, "ok Spiderman as you get out of the car don't walk over to the Xbox car too fast. Wait for Starfield to cross at the same time. Good luck buddy"
@lightningbolt79 I disagree. For me, the lack of loading screens is amazing. I love flying everywhere. I don't lose the immersion as I take off and land on different planets. As a kid I dreamed of games like No Mans Sky. It is fantastic. I do think it was rough st the beginning though, but with all the amazing FREE updates it has really grown into something special. Not that loading screens are bad, I just prefer none. I would play Starfield for sure if it came to ps5
@viktorcode ahh. I heard some horror stories with randoms from some YouTubers I follow. Maybe that was more of an anomaly then. Ill look into it some more. Thank you.
Fantastic selection. I still have yet to play outer worlds. Looking forward to that. Ac Valhalla was fun, but a bit long foe my tastes. Lego Worlds is my favorite lego game. Spent hours with that game. Fun time when my daughter was younger as well. The 2 rogue games look fun too. Perfect amount of games to hold me over until Dragons Dogma 2
My guess is they will port some games over to test the sales, but wishful thinking for many of them. I hope im wrong though. @OmegaStriver I disagree on the innovation front. Before Xbox, ps still had quality games. I do think however higher prices may come to be without more competition. If Microsoft limits there crossover games though it shouldn't matter much.
I'm a fan even if only somewhat true. The more access to games for all the better. Xbox to Sony or Sony to Xbox. Many gamers can only afford one gaming system and miss out on some great games. I think releasing a game 1 to 2 years after it's out in its current system to another system makes monetary sense.
@Sanquine I was thinking the same thing with Rise of Ronin. Although Team Ninja has never been known for top graphics. Their combat however looks amazing.
I'm intrigued. I will watch a few play through when it comes out. If the levels look fun I'm in. I did enjoy Code vein, however like many of these souls likes the enemy types didnt change much. The levels did though which helped.
Had a great time with eso long ago. The best single player mmo to date I believe. Then...lvl scaling came along. Killed the game for me. Glad others are still enjoying it though.
Interesting class and a bold move to not have any damage abilities. I think I would need at least one big damage ability even if it's only against a certain type of enemy or at least a small DoT. I do think this will make for good twitch or youtube videos though.
@KundaliniRising333 I see what you mean, but even a slight upgrade to a great game will have me purchase it. I understand your thoughts though. I'm seing it too. I was thinking wow still janky and only half polished from the first one.
Maybe the winner will be Avatar. I'm playing that now and I'm loving it. Not mentioned at all for any top awards, but it is quite fun and beautiful to look at. Of course my number 1 is BG3 and to see it as #2 is a bit of a shock considering it's impact on the genre. However all the games listed are great.
Started plague tale awhile back, but wasn't in the mood for the stealthy game to finish it at the time. Does anyone know if you need to play the first to enjoy the second?
Sad to see No Mans Sky not win again for ongoing award. That game is so good now and to get all of that for free for nearly 10 years in insane. Hats off to them. Now only if my expedition save didn't get corrupted.
@Hyena_socks Space Redwall with darker undertones of Animal Farm sounds great. Might get close to Redwall in Hello games new game Light No Fire as well.
I remember how exciting it was to drive around a town top down view and that was, Who Framed Roger Rabbit on Nintendo. Amazing how far technology and game design has come.
DD dark arisen is one of my favorite games of all time. Definitely worth a play through. The graphics don't hold up very well and the traversal can be a bit rough, but everything else is fantastic. The pawn system is unique and fun. Magic actually takes time to cast which makes it seem more real for me. And when you go out at night without a torch it is pitch black, not that blue tint and still be able to see night, just black. I could keep talking about this game, but for free I definitely recommend you give it a shot.
May try a few of the others, but nothing to make me leave NMS at the moment.
From reviews the game seems to be slower paced than the original. Almost closer to a walking Sim. Maybe that's due to what they couldn't show. Sadly this may keep me from the game as my patience for these makes me drop it faster.
Sadly even with this control scheme it seems to complicated for me. It is cool that you can do all these complicated moves, however im too old and dont jave enough time for all of that. I need to find an old school hockey like those from the late 90s. I did pick up Legend Bowl and it's perfect for me. Maybe they will make a hockey game next.
Big fan of Souls likes, but Lies of P looks unimpressive to me. Maybe it's the Layout as the combat looks decent and the reviews are great. It's just everytime I watch a video I'm not itching to buy it. Lord's of the Fallen on the other hand will be my next pick-up. I love Souls games that you get lost in and then suddenly you open a door and your back at the bonfire. I'll play Lies of P on a deep sale or psplus.
Since the latest hot fix, I'm now having split screen issues. Whenever my daughter listens to my conversation, when done, her side camera follows me. She then has to talk to someone to kick it back to her.

Add bots and I'll buy. Looks fun, but I'm mostly a solo player.
Re: Dragon's Dogma 2 Will Have an Uncapped Frame Rate on PS5
Not to bothered by it. As long as it doesn't dip to low too often.

Im sure it wil be good lno matter what game world. Even if it takes half a step back from bg3 quality. The Divinity games were some of the best.

@QualityGeezer it's one of my favorite games. A little dated, but amazing none the less. I would play it if you have the time.

@QualityGeezer it's a parallel world so no need to finish the first

@Bentleyma yikes! Now that's torture.
Re: Daredevil Pays Rent, Skewering Marvel's Spider-Man 2 DLC Theory

Re: Another Baldur's Gate 3 Patch, Another 1000+ Fixes on PS5
Still enjoying it. Slowly progressing through act 3. Playing a few other games in between.

@Arkantos2990 @Brydontk thanks for the feedback. Ill see if my daughter is interested and if the reviews hold up, I may pick up the new one.

Can you play solo in this or previous game? If so, is it fun? Can you couch co-op? If yes to 2 of 3 of these, I may jump on board.

An odd game from the looks of it, but may have just enough for me to buy on a sale.
Re: Warhammer RTS Realms of Ruin PS5 Gets Final Faction Focus Trailer
Seems like a total war lite. I think it might have legs if it comes straight to gamepass or psplus, but otherwise it may get lost in the shuffle.
Re: It's True! Lies of P Sales Surpass One Million Units
@Constable_What thanks for the heads up. Think ill wait for a sale then maybe pick up Spiderman 2 instead.
Re: It's True! Lies of P Sales Surpass One Million Units

About to start spell force 3 after I finish bg3. Depending how I like that I may follow up with this.
