@SerJosh97 lol glad you love it. You missed my point. I don't like level scaling as it wrecks rpg emersion for me. My example was eso. I do like the game. I'm just sad they level scaled most things. Should a rat be able to go toe to toe with someone who beat a dragon? I get the idea that it does make every area playable, just not for me.
@thefourfoldroot1 I agree on the level scaling ruining rpgs. Case in point for me was ESO. I played it about 6 months after release then quit for awhile came back a couple years later and nearly died from a creature just outside the city walls. Why would something that only scavenges near towns level equal to me, a dungeon seeking, world traveling adventurer. Hopefully this isn't the case for Hogwarts.
Sound is very good. will probably buy day one if decent reviews. On the verge of pre-ordering, mostly for the extra quest. I rarely do pre-orders, but I dont see any cyberpunk like issues setting off my radar.
@Scarko haha nice. You are the first to notice or comment on my avatar at least that I recall. Was a great show. Too bad the movie addition never made it out of development.
Will pick up deaths door, maybe kena. I highly recommend dragons dogma for those who still haven't tried it. At that price its a must buy for any even remotely interested.
@theheadofabroom interesting. I don't know how I missed it all this time, especially since I enjoy simulation games. I remember playing the original Sim city at a friend's long ago and realizing he had left the room and was playing outside for over and hour while I played on his cpu lol
@LiamCroft nice to see that you haven't watched or read the series either, so I should have a similar experience. I will definitely pick this up most likely on a small sale. Thanks for the review
@AK4tywill I have to get back to finishing Death stranding. Only about 20 hours in then jumped to something else for awhile. Loved the sound track. Sad to hear of Low Roars lead vocalist passing.
1. Sims 4. (Thanks to my daughter playing on my ps4) 2. Star Wars Battlefront 2 3. Elden Ring 4. Pathfinder Wraith of the Righteous 5. Slay the Spire
The most surprising for me was Slay the Spire. I didn't realize how much I liked deck building games. It gives me hope for Midnight Sun's when it goes on a 35%to 50% sale.
@whitejessegpfc I enjoyed Returnal. I wouldn't say that made it easier adding coop just another way to take on the game. I am very bad at hard games so much so that for souls games I usually have to way over lvl my stats to beat many areas. Returnal I feel rewards greed to a point and like most rogue likes you just need those good drops to happen once to beat a level.
I'm excited for those who haven't played Fallen Order. As a big Stars Wars nerd, that game hit the sweet spot at least until the remake of KOTOR comes out. Fallout 76 will be my first download and see how close to fallout 4 it is. I did like the building mechanics. Lots and lots of turrets in my future.
Interested, however I'm not sure about the ui choice. It looks like a constant screen tear. I think I would get used to it, but initially it is jarring.
I really like the art style. I don't think ill get the game, as Im not much of jrpg fan anymore, but I may watch some videos of people playing it for a bit.
@Tyrii I have been playing Pathfinder wotr and the previous kingmaker. The controls work really well.
I'm looking forward to this. I played the pen and paper 40k once and I liked the lore. Owlcat does have a few technical issues with there games, but they support it with continuous fixes.
Sometimes it's just too much talking, I'm looking at you Plague Tale Requiem. I'm all for hint options or even press R3 for a hint, but having the puzzle all but solved can be annoying.
Only a third through and left for other games, but I will be back. Loved the sound track. Low Roar has become a permanent stay on my Playlist. Sadly Low Roars front man, ryan karazija, has past away recently. His melodic voice with great writing will be missed.
@Ward_ting play the extra games and when finished the new games should be on sale. Might be hard if you have FOMO and your friends are playing the new games. Great way to save money though, usually my route.
Curious why games breaking street dates have different rules than books. If a retailer breaks a street date on a book, most of the time if another retailer can prove it, then they in turn can sell the item early.
Looks fun. I'm not a big fan of the pallet choice. It could just be the level of course. It reminded me alot of fallout 3 Era, where many games used the brown pallet tone.

Re: Marvel's Avengers Support Officially Ends in September, Three Years After Release
Tried for a couple hours and already got too repetitive for me. It's unfortunate as I am a marvel comic fan.

Re: The Last Sarkorians is the Next Major DLC for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous
@ShadowofSparta azata sounds fun. Currently on the angel path myself. Very slowly. Need to jump back in and this dlc announcement just did the trick.
I will pick this dlc up just have to at least finish a play through first.

Re: Mad FPS Atomic Heart Alters Visuals to Hit 60fps on PS5

Re: Reminder: Last Chance to See Your PlayStation Wrap-Up for 2022
Top 5 for me:
1. Sims 4. (Thanks to my daughter playing on my ps4)
2. Star Wars Battlefront 2
3. Elden Ring
4. Pathfinder Wraith of the Righteous
5. Slay the Spire

Re: New Boss Fight the Focus of More Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Gameplay
Super excited for this. Nioh 2 was my second favorite souls game only being topped by elden ring. This boss fight looks intense.

Re: Game of the Year: John's Top 5 PS5, PS4 Games of 2022
Great list. Almost the same as mine. I wouldswap last of us for Pathfinder WOTR.
Re: Game of the Year: Robert's Top 5 PS5, PS4 Games of 2022
Elden Ring not even on the list. Took some guts to leave that great game off the board. Might have to jump in on these trails series on the cheap.
Re: Game of the Year: Khayl's Top 5 PS5, PS4 Games of 2022
Bannerlords has been on my radar. This pushed it to a purchase, just not yet as I have to finish too many games atm.

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion?
True, I grew up on original so missed the spoilers a bit
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion?
@Cyberpsycho from what I gather, this game takes place before 7 so it makes sense to play it now.
Re: Poll: What Is Your PS5, PS4 Game of the Year 2022?
Like to add a write in: Pathfinder Wraith of the Righteous. 4 points. Have not finished so can't give it a 5.
Re: Open the Book on More Hogwarts Legacy PS5, PS4 Gameplay This Week

Maybe Steelrising. The rest still too high for those I don't already own.
Re: Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord (PS5) - Long Live the King
Great review. Is this mostly single player or online or both? If it is viable to play mostly single. I'm in.
Re: Embracer Group Has 234 Games Planned to Launch by March 2026
I recall reading their ceo stated they will make games to make money not necessarily the best games. We will see what that means on quality.

Hoping for fall 2023 release. Its very quiet on the news front though.
