Re: Sony Subsidiary Aniplex Is Publishing the New Game from Danganronpa's Devs, But It's Skipping PS5

HotGoomba

Aniplex is a division of Sony that's very separated from PlayStation and SIE, so they probably just don't care, and it doesn't seem like there's any mandatory rules about launching all "Sony" games on PlayStation first, so that definitely is why a game like this and Ghostbusters VR (from Sony Pictures) don't immediately come to PlayStation.

Still strange to see of course, it's like if a Nintendo subsidiary like Monolith Soft published some game for another company then released it first on Xbox, or to a lesser extent, if the Microsoft Office team published a f--king Scott Pilgrim game or something only on PlayStation, idk.

@Bez87 I guess they wanted people to try out the pre-pre-alpha so we could get a pre-pre-preview of the game before it pre-pre-launches and to see what pre-pre-features they should premove from the game to give people a chance to see what they've been pre-pre-working on.

Or at least I'm pre-pre-pretty sure that's the case.

Re: Poll: Was Summer Game Fest 2024 Great or a Letdown?

I honestly kinda liked it. Somewhat. It wasn't a masterpiece, but I really don't know what everyone else was expecting. I had absolutely no expectations, I didn't try to keep up with the live time, and I left satisfied.

Again, this is Geoff we're talking about, guys. Lower your expectations by ten billion.

I did fast forward a lot though. Yet I loved the indie games shown off.

Side note, I really need to get into Fallout. I know about the discourse that Fallout 1, 2, 3, New Vegas, 4, and 76 fans have against each other, but I do not care honestly. I just want to try out all the games for myself and determine if I like them or not. I'm also looking forward to watching this show like five years from now because of this fun little thing called procrastination.

@pirlega If you think it's worth your time and energy to type out a comment complaining about the skin color and ethnicity of a video game character within an otherwise critically acclaimed game, you should probably find other things to complain about.

Then again I'm wasting time replying to you, so I'm admittedly not much better. I guess we should all worry about actually important things rather than bitch about pixels on a screen. Good day.
