@TrickyDicky99 It's not like VR has never has struggles before, and there are still plenty of upcoming games. Or you could look for smaller VR games if you really are desperate for content. Hell, with the PSVR2, all that means is more games.

And again with the indies. Like half of the best VR games are from indie developers and small development teams. Gaming is more than just Ubisoft, EA, and Meta.

@TrickyDicky99 The Valve Index is over a thousand dollars, is critically acclaimed, is used by many PC VR users, still requires a beefy PC which could equate to about $1000 minimum, blah blah blah, I can go on.

Meanwhile the PSVR2 is $550, has superior specs, only needs a $400-500 console, doesn't need as much as a setup as the Index, isn't really that much expensive than a Quest 2 and likely Quest 3, and is like $950-1050 with the PS5, which is cheaper than most PCs.

At worst, the PSVR2 will have a bit of a slow start, and even then it'll probably initially sell better than most products VR enthusiasts like us would get.

It's not even that much more expensive than the starting price of a PSVR1, since for $150 more, you get better tracking, simpler setup, much better visuals, and controllers that don't suck. And if the PSVR1 went down in price, the PSVR2 will go down in price.

It's not dead on arrival, and it'll probably get the same quality titles as Quest and PC.

Also, really? What was with the knock on indie titles? Some of the best VR games are from smaller studios, and some of the worst are from big publishers.

I WAS playing some Bonelab on my recently acquired PC but after some crashes and preformance issues I realized that my NVMe SSD was effed up, and since it's a used Alienware PC that has a finished warranty, so now I have to get a new SSD in order to play any further VR games withoit giving myself epilepsy.

I'm also playing Kirby.

Also I just remembered that I haven't finished Guardians on my PS5 yet I should get to that.

The secret ending is that a collaboration between Shrek and Dead Space is teased.

I'll get this when it's $20 in a Walmart bargain bin in 2035.

@KaijuKaiser I think the worst part of this deal is that it devalues the talented studios they DO own, like the Forza guys, Double Fine, Obsidian, Id Software, I could go on.

It just shows that instead of building stronger teams and supporting the developers they already own, they're just gonna buy big companies in order to look like a threat to Sony.

Dammit, now I have between getting a Quest 3 and a PSVR2 this year.

I actually really like the artstyle. The characters could look a bit better though.

I've played Season One but not Season Two. Since it's out on more platforms, I should probably get to buying it. Not 100% for sure if I'll get it on PlayStation though, this game screams portability to me.

@Korgon The Silkworm and Superfly are actually aome good examples of VR working well for Spider-Man. Heard similsr praide with Swarm, but that's pretty different from Spider-Man overall and I haven't played in on my Quest 2 yet.

Got it today, I'm unfortunately busy completing other games and plan on playing Lego Star Wars before Stray. I do hope to play the funny cat game before the end of the year.

And yes, I am horrible at managing what games I'm playing.
