I still can't believe they've got the cheek to even release a PS5 "Pro". Calling it "launch" as well... This whole thing seems like a huge joke.

I don't even have a PS5 but i bought a physical copy as soon as I heard it was going offline. It'll be staying sealed and going away for a few years. I don't normally do this kind of thing but wish me luck!

from my own point of view, there isn't a single reason to upgrade. There are barely any exclusives and i don't care about the few that there are.

@frabbit I always wondered why Wii U streaming to the gamepad was flawless but PS4 streaming to Vita or elsewhere was pretty poor

I'll probably get this anyway. I assume they'll patch it at some point, and even if they don't, it's a turn-based RPG. Who needs frame rate?

It's also the only legit way to play this game in Europe, so there's that too.

Remember the PS vita store actually had sales? Those were the days. I got persona 4 golden for about £6. Also remember getting the likes of Killzone Mercenary and Tearaway for quite cheap.

I definitely feel like games become "worthless" as soon as they appear on PS Plus. I have so many unplayed Plus games in my library - because I haven't paid for them I don't have a sense that I "need" to play them, and I usually end up playing games I've actually bought instead. PS Plus also puts me off buying games which are on sale sometimes, because I am wary that they will just appear on Plus in a few months anyway. I do have a bit of sympathy with indie devs due to the sheer amount of content available for next to nothing.

I feel bad for Switch owners but it's also quite hilarious.

@Bonbonetti I think you're missing the point somewhat. 7/10 is not a bad score by any means but with a game like anthem which has had a huge budget, years of development, and a big marketing push, EA will really be looking for it to get 9s and 10s

Is anyone else like me and just adds these free games to the library every month but never actually gets round to downloading and playing any? My backlog of games that I've actually bought is already too big!

I think you only need 3 outcomes:

• Recommended,
• Worth a punt if you're interested in this particular genre, or
• Avoid (i.e. the game is rubbish)

It's hard to shake the feeling that Sumo Digital want to make an awesome racer (like Transformed) but are being told by Sega "you have to do it this way" (i.e. Sonic characters only, team-based gameplay that no-one asked for)

@KratosMD The option to use the left stick is there, although I recommend playing with the D-pad anyway. Moving Ryo around with the analogue stick just wouldn't feel right to me!

It's ridiculous that people would send him death threats. Completely reprehensible and vile behaviour. However, he did tell bare-faced lies (not "mistakes") ahead of the game's release, so he's not above criticism. At least they're trying to make amends with all the free updates.

As soon as I heard that it was some sort of weird team-based driving game where you didn't actually race, my hype completely died. I'd been considering a purchase until then.

If they want to tell the stories of what heroines did in the war, that's great. But it's not sexist to point out that women did not fight on the front line in WW2.

They probably said that about the PS4 as well. I'm not convinced. Average user's internet (mine included) is nowhere near good enough.

If anyone is sad enough (like me) to care about their trophy stats, they can be viewed at PSNProfiles (.com) but I totally agree that it would be cool to see other stats such as how long you've played each game. Nintendo consoles track playtime and it's pretty nice (albeit pointless) to know which games you've spent the longest time on.

I want to know who's buying 3DS and Wii U consoles now that the Switch has been out for a year!

I'm getting this for a family member's Christmas present. Should probably get them some store credit as well so they can download more songs. The ability to use your phone as a mic sounds great because it means we won't have to have microphones lying around forever more!

honestly, UC4 is one of the worst Uncharted games imo.
There is not enough action.

I'd make it:

2 > 1 > 3 > 4

Meanwhile, the story of Uncharted 3 is a bit of a mess and it feels like they came up with the levels first, and the story second.

Regardless, Uncharted 2 is the undisputed king.

I had a shot of Superhot VR. it was incredible!

If this game was going to have Dreamcast-level graphics and animations I wouldn't mind. Bit unfair to hold it up to AAA standards when it's a Kickstarter project for a sequel to a 15 year old game. I have faith in Yu Suzuki.
