Tales of Berseria is my personal fave, though Vesperia and the first Xillia are great too. And Arise and it's expansion are superb

@RubyCarbuncle FF16 is also linear as a straight rope ( but I enjoyed it) ....loved the XIII series too, think I'm the only one

A weekend of RPG greatness for me with the life sapping Diablo 4 my GOTY so far in Dragons Dogma 2 and I'm about 6 hrs in on the stunning Granblu Fantasy Relink which has blown me away with its gameplay and stunning art style. Get all over this if you haven't played it guys !

@rusty82 ...Yeah loved the first one too. The 2nd is so cinematic and immersive and the combat is really hefty and visceral. Here's hoping it comes to PS5

Just finished Steel Rising...an enjoyable souls like but way too easy and lightweight with a good story
Gonna do another run through of Hellblade 2 which is fantastic though I fully understand it's criticisms but overall it's a stunner but not quite as good as the first game.
More GT7 which just gets better and better

Started, and I'm gonna stick with Steel Rising on PS5. Very ho hum at the mo, but a more accessible Souls like. The main issue is fighting the same enemies all the time
More Diablo 4 my main drug of choice (well the only one 🤣) think I'll be playing this for years to come !

Started Stranger of Paradise FF Origin but I've dropped it like a hot plate. Utterly awful, not for me
So I'm gonna replay the amazing Stellar Blade to compensate with more of my GOTY so far Dragons Dogma 2 and Forza on XBX

Destiny 2 The Final Shape ..wow. Huge improvement on Lightfall, love the new Transcendance feature. A great mechanic and very strategic. Usual brilliant gunplay.
Also more Diablo 4....the Season Of Loot is a huge game changer. Brilliant.

@CWill97 ...play them all. Origins, DA 2 - Which, btw, has some of the best writing in any videogame. It has its issues but still a great RPG, then treat yourself to Inquisition- one of the best western RPGs. You'll be familiar with the characters and lore for Veilguard then. Enjoy !

Replaying the gob smacking Hellblade 2 on XBX, the first game in a long time I've replayed straightaway. If it comes to PS5, get all over it.
Also the Euro 24 update on FIFA ...it will always be FIFA to me lol, and it's a fun add on, tho England are way too overpowered based on last night's shocker 🤣
Also started Stellar Blade on PS5 and it's wonderful, tho the 3rd boss truly kicks my ass. Fantastic visuals and a true gamers game
If I have time, more of my personal GOTY Dragons Dogma 2, a game I'll never tire of playing

The stunning Hellblade 2 on Xbox. Ignore the haters, this is superb. Combat has a real heft to it, almost like you're actually in combat. Can't recommend it enough.
More Dragons Dogma 2.... I think I'll be playing this game until the end of time. Gonna be my GOTY without doubt

The biggest disappointment of last year. Dull characters, ridiculous side quests - its a game that has you playing as anything BUT Spiderman !
Why are the characters so dull and nice to everyone all the time ?? Peter and Miles are absolute wet lettuces, like Disney high school characters. And why does playing as both Spidermen feel more like I'm playing as a Jedi Knight ?
Those ridiculous open world filler side quests- no, I don't want to follow your grandads inhaler trail for 3 miles, no I have no interest in destroying atoms, yes I'm sick of playing Power Generator Simulater 2. Not to mention playing as a deaf girl tagging graffiti- just let me be Spiderman !!! Plus those annoying Danikasts.....really ?
I still can't believe Insomniac never listened to feedback on the first game that no one wants to play as stealthy Mary Jane ( the DUUULLLEESSTT, plastic character ) so they include more but hey, this time, let's give her a gun.
Overall, the writing and dialogue is terrible - pure PreTeen cringe. Peters voice when he wears the black suit is beyond cringe.
There was an added trophy for finishing New Game Plus ...play it again ? Never in a million years.

@LordFunkalot oh I agree, the last one, MW3, in particular, was pants ! But still a top seller.....the glory days have gone in terms of quality.
And oooh yeah, would love a new SOCOM, brings back great memories 😢😢
