Finished and platinumed GOTG yesterday. Very fun game with great production values but the gameplay is a bit shallow- well worth a play through though
Carrying on with Halo Infinite which is superb, the best Halo has been in awhile, single and multiplayer and one of my games of the year
Also still trying and failing to speed run my actual game of the year - Deathloop

@theMEGAniggle Guardians is a fun, good game but in my opinion the gameplay is shallower than an evaporated puddle. Worth a blast though for the story

@eagletrippin ...eerrr because its a best games of the year list ?? Madness to exclude games because they're multi platform. My games of the year would include Metroid Dread, Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5 or can I not say that as they're on Xbox and Switch

My Mrs. bought me a Series S so I'm downloading 'Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite as we speak but God knows when I'll be able to boot them up ...maybe tonight when everyone's in bed if I'm not too drunk ( which I will be ) and will trying Back 4 Blood on GamePass too

To sum this game up : it's without doubt the finest brawler in YEARS. Its that good. Utterly love it - its the only fighter I've invested in the Season Pass in, because I love Arcs characters

Battlefield 2042 - enjoying it despite my initial disappointment, really getting into the maps now
Crusader Kings 3 on PC - utterly compelling and addictive in a one more go kind of way

Halo 5 Guardians on XBone - gonna max out the achievements and complete it ready for Halo Infinite. To me, this series still holds up as the some of the best FPS's ever
Granblu Fantasy Versus on PS5, a superb brawler up there with Guilty Gear Strive
Starcraft 2 on PC - my life sapping drug of choice

Well, finally caught Covid so isolating and recovering whilst playing Guardians of The Galaxy, which is just about finished so I'll go for the Platinum.
Also Battlefield 2042 to try and force myself to like it lol and a few online bouts of Gulty Gear Strive to improve my ranking

Battlefield started with no campaign, it was born as an.online shooter ! They only added mediocre 4 hr campaign's to appease new console players. Nobody buys BF for a campaign surely. I think 2042 plays great so far - the criticisms of running for ages then getting shot are the words of someone who clearly doesn't know how to play ( ya know, use squads, vehicles etc etc )

Alongside 'The Citadel' for Mass Effect 3, this is perhaps the best DLC content ever released. And it's genuinely laugh out loud funny

@Mauzuri it's perfectly safe yeah. I use Creation Club stuff plus lots of mods and never had any issues ( apart from PC which has 1000s more mods to conflict )
