It's not on the PS4 yet, tends to take them a day or so more for some reason. Not complaining though, as you say, that's some fast work on the patches regardless.
Some fair criticism, the arm cranes were indeed rubbish and I would remove about 90% of the train yard, takes way too long, what a faff. There's a lot to love if you can ignore some areas that last far longer than they should. Wasn't super keen on the ending either but it is what it is.
Looks like fun, count me in for the Vita version. Would be cool if it was cross buy as well, but not getting my hopes up too much on that point, guessing any initiative like that for the Vita is probably finished now.
@kyleforrester87 You're right, I read the whole interview. He was simply explaining about Returnal being pushed back, it felt quite reserved to me considering what he could have said.
I do like a good developer interview, definitely more of that please.
I would enjoy seeing some fun competitions which involve the community here as well, with some small prizes for whoever wins. And not the boring comps where you visit a page, subscribe, retweet, etc. Something fun. Not an easy ask I know. But you did ask!
@BearsEatBeets Heh, trust you to get the Legendary Cache. To be fair, that helmet looks hella awesome, I want it, lol. If that's as good as it looks, I'd say that's worth the price. Where did you order from?
@JamieO
Nice one Jamie, top review as always!
I played the original Turrican on the Atari ST but never had the skill to complete it, always ran out of lives. Soon perished after the vertical scrolling part you mentioned on 3-1. Still loved it of course.
No doubt had I been a better explorer and found more lives, that would have helped a lot!
Fingers crossed we'll see Midnight Resistance on modern consoles one day, you never know! I actually did complete that once.. by the skin of my teeth, haha.
I did get to play Blazing Fury recently, very good.
In regards to trophies, I like their cheaters don't win approach. For me, if a platinum doesn't require any skill, and can be easily cheesed, I don't really see the point in getting it.
I am considering giving Greedfall a go, sounds like quite a few people got on well with the narrative. Hopefully it's less buggy than it was reported to be on release as well.
@gbanas92 Nice soapbox. Does the game have an option for password protected / private games? If so, that could be the way forward, just invite people you know won't cheat and aren't toxic. No doubt there's a few people on this site that would be interested in joining in.
Maybe it's yet to come but I would have expected the site to do a favourite games enjoyed on PS4 article now that the PS5 is out.. One good way to generate discussion on great games.
It looks a bit thrown together to me. The animation and facial expressions really feel off and there's nothing drawing me in. I'm expecting it will be rushed to meet that deadline but no doubt there will be some fun to be had by super fans.
All the souls games have an easy mode, you simply summon help. The assistance given from fellow players tends to make most of the game considerably easier.
So.. what are the odds that Sony would actually accept this code and release it officially? I suspect they'd be too security conscious to take the risk but it would be great to be able to play Bloodborne at 60fps. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
Definitely would have purchased this game on day one, so I'm happy I won't have to pay extra for it. Any news on if there's co-op or PSVR compatibility?
@BowTiesAreCool
They're going for a different audience to be fair. Easiest way to explain it is StarFighter Assault is an arcade game, and SW Squadrons is a simulator, or as close as you can get to one on console. Also worth mentioning this game is designed very much with VR headsets in mind.

Re: Capcom Arcade Stadium (PS4) - Capcom-asters of 32 Arcade Games from 1984 to 2001
Great review! I've enjoyed the two free games in this collection, especially Ghosts n Goblins. I will probably get some more once they're on sale.
Always wonderful to be able to replay a classic on modern consoles.
Re: LittleBigPlanet Servers Disabled Again After Disgruntled Fan Declares #LittleBigVictory
@Arugula
Indeed, but then the word fan is a shortening of fanatic after all. Sadly awful behaviour by so called fans is not so uncommon these days.
Re: Hades Could Finally Be Coming to PlayStation
Really looking forward to this. Supergiant games just get better and better and I know it will be my goty.
Re: Promising FPS Necromunda: Hired Gun Has Our Attention in New PS5, PS4 Gameplay Trailer

Noooooo thank you. Video games, please.
Re: Disco Elysium: The Final Cut Patch 1.5 Is The Game's Third Update in Less Than a Week on PS5, PS4

Re: Talking Point: Would You Buy a PS5 Remake of The Last of Us?
Can they not remake G-Police instead? Or Colony Wars? I don't feel this needs a remake.
Re: Soapbox: My Colleagues Bet On How Far I'd Make It Through Final Fantasy VII Remake

Re: Poll: Rate Your Favourite PS3 Games
@get2sammyb
Xcom Enemy Within is missing. Google states it's an expansion but it was a full retail release (only) on PS3.
Also a few games such as Dead Space wouldn't allow me to give a rating.
Re: Disco Elysium: The Final Cut Out Now on PS5, PS4
@Voltan
Perfect, thanks matey.
Re: Disco Elysium: The Final Cut Out Now on PS5, PS4

Re: Mini Review: The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos (PS4) - Decent DLC that Doesn't Realise Its Potential
A shame that the plot doesn't go anywhere interesting, was quite hopeful after watching the trailer for an interesting and well written twist.

Re: Here's How Sony Put 40,000 Tiny PlayStation Symbols on the PS5 Pad
40,000 is a good number.. and a good year.
In the grim darkness of the far future there is only PlayStation.
Re: Poll: What Other First-Party PS4 Game Needs a PS5 Update?
G-Police all the way.

Happy new year everyone!
Re: Soapbox: I Can't Keep Up with Service Games
I play Fall Guys now and then but there's no pressure at all to unlock anything in that, it's just good simple fun with lots of silly costumes.

Re: Cyber Shadow Brings Pixelated Ninja Action to PS5, PS4 in January 2021
Very cool trailer, had to watch it twice, they certainly nailed the retro feeling, looking forward to reading the pushsquare review for this one.

I suspect this was also to optimise the game for the PS5.
