This is the first one I bought since COD 2 on PC back in the day. Opposed to a lot of people here, I quite like the WW2 theme. As a teenager I was quite obsessed with everything WW2, thanks to my dad who was into model building. Seeing the trailers reminded me of the pictures in the many books he had about the war.
Took a break from Mass Effect to play Tales of Arise. What a wonderful game. Hate to see the DLC packs, though. +5 lvls, +10 lvls, 100.000 Gald, items to make the game easier, ... I mean, come on. What do we play JRPG's for, then?
Belgium just got kicked out of Euro 2020, so I'll try to comfort myself with some more Mass Effect 2. Great game by both teams, but a well deserved win for Italy.
@RaZieLDaNtE Oh, how I would love to see Raziel again! Wonderful games. I couldn't resist and started playing ME2 instead of GOT. I'll save that one for this summer .
@RaZieLDaNtE Oh whaw, your alias makes me think about one of my favourite games of all time, being Soul Reaver on the Dreamcast .
Thanks for the tip. Installing Ghost of Tsushima as we speak. We're really blessed with all these wonderful games. If only I had the time to play them all...
Just finished Ratchet & Clank RA. Guess Mass Effect 2 will be next, or maybe I'll finally start Ghost of Tsushima, or the FF7 Remake expansion, or RE Village, or Yakuza, or ...
7/10 as well. Too short for a premium priced game, and the platinum is a joke. Collect 5 gold bolts, fully upgrade a weapon, ... really? I really enjoyed my time with it and it looks and plays amazing, but it's over far too soon.
Aiming for the platinum in Rift Apart before I start with ME2. I picked up Ghost of Tsushima this week as well. Tempting, but I'll try to finish the ME trilogy first.
Just got the platinum trophy in ME1 last night, started playing Rift Apart and couldn't put it down. 12 year old me wouldn't believe he / I'd be playing this 30 years later. Incredible how video games have evolved. I'll try to squeeze some FF7RR and ME2 in as well.
I'll also be playing my new bass. And then there's Belgium vs. Russia (Euro 2020) , and Belgium vs. Greece (women's basketball, preparation for Euro 2021).
@Shepherd_Tallon Yeah, we can't complain about the amount of high quality titles coming our way, but man, it's just impossible to keep up! I don't understand how people can possibly cope with a service such as Game Pass Ultimate. Call me old school, but I like to absorb a game like a good book or a nice meal. Rushing through a title to be able to start with the next just feels wrong to me.
On my way to the (very easy) platinum in the original Mass Effect. You basically earn every trophy by playing the game, which is kinda sad, really. Can't wait to replay ME2, though, and I'm glad I finally got to experience the first game in the series.
Just reached chapter 40 in TLOU2 yesterday, so I'm finishing this one tomorrow! I'm really in for something more relaxed to play next; my heart can't take much more of this .
Finished God of War early this week, and played the first few hours of TLOU2 just yesterday. This is going to be one hefty ride, it seems. I'm really impressed so far!
Just finished Sackboy this week. God of War will be next, hopefully this weekend. Really enjoying the story so far, but gameplay is surprisingly linear after what I've read about the game.
@Col_McCafferty Thanks for the advice. I have a few busy weeks ahead of me, so I'll think I'll go for Sackboy. Seems like a game that can be enjoyed in short bursts.
Just got the platinum in Horizon (at last...) and I can't choose between Sackboy, God of War, The Last of Us II, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Demon's Souls. Tough choice.
@SilenceCZ Ah, nice! Yeah, Microsoft really upped their game since Xbox 360. Their procedure used to be somewhat of a hassle with the OG Xbox, but they got their act together and now have the fastest repair / replacement service of the Big Three here in Belgium as well.
@SilenceCZ I hear you on the day one nonsense. I've bought my systems on launch day since the SNES days, and the only one failing on me ever was a PS3 after 7 years...
In my twenties I've worked at a major games retail chain here in Belgium quite a few years during the PS2 and PS3 era, and we never noticed such phenomenon. Also, in my experience Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft always were very helpful and professional about replacing or repairing hardware. These lawsuits are just ridiculous and unnecessary.
Just picked up Sackboy: A Big Adventure for PS5, together with Super Mario 3D World on Switch. I'll be playing both with the wife and kid. Couch multiplayer is so much fun!
I'm also catching up on some PS4 gems I missed. God of War is next.

Wrapping up the last loyalty missions in ME2. What a wonderful game and a great remaster!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 385
@TraCuz- Well, I'm a big Elder Scrolls and Fallout fan, but I don't know if I'm going to fork out 500 € just to be able to play Bethesda games...
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 385
Zelda Skyward Sword HD and Mass Effect 2 for me. Switch & PS5/4 are the perfect gaming combo.
Re: PS5 Stock: When and Where to Buy PlayStation 5 in July 2021
Lots of PS5's in the wild now here in Belgium. We're getting there...
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 383
Belgium just got kicked out of Euro 2020, so I'll try to comfort myself with some more Mass Effect 2. Great game by both teams, but a well deserved win for Italy.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 381
@fR_eeBritney Glad you liked ME3! I honestly never understood the negativity as well. Brilliant conclusion to an incredible trilogy!

Re: Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Pre-Load Is Available Now on PS5
@Waffles12415 Yep, RE 8 seems like another perfect title to play in between two longer games.
Re: Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Pre-Load Is Available Now on PS5
@Shepherd_Tallon Didn't even have a chance to start RE Village yet. Sometimes I miss the SNES days. Fewer games and even less money .
Re: Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Pre-Load Is Available Now on PS5
Too many great games! Really struggling to keep up. This will be the perfect game to play between ME 1 and 2. Can't wait!
Re: Tales of Arise PS5 Details Shared, New Screenshots Revealed
Oh, yes! I've been dying for a decent JRPG on the PS5. Can't wait!
Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Games for June 2021?
Super happy! I'm a huge Virtua Fighter fan. Still play the Sega Saturn versions once in a while.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 378
Mass Effect is all but finished. Great game. I would love to start Mass Effect 2 tomorrow, but the NBA playoffs are ruining my gaming schedule .
Re: PS Plus June 2021 PS5, PS4 Games Announced
Oh yes! Virtua Fighter is one of my favourite series EVER! Great month!

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 376
Playing the original Mass Effect for the first time. Having a fantastic time!
Re: Poll: Did You Buy Mass Effect Legendary Edition?
Played 2 and 3 yo death, but never got the chance to play the first game. Installing as we speak!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 375
Finally have some time to play after a few brutal working weeks... Just got RE Village, so that will be the main dish this weekend.
Re: Mass Effect Legendary Edition Graphics Comparison Shows Some Massive Improvements
Looks like a solid upgrade. Played 2 and 3 to death, but this will be my first dance with the original. Can't wait!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 370

Re: Poll: Rate Your Favourite PS3 Games
Late to the party. Busy weeks...
Had a great time scrolling through the loooong list .
For what it's worth: here's my top 10 (no particular order):
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 368

Sackboy all the way this weekend!

Re: Talking Point: Did Sony's State of Play Livestream Meet Your Expectations?
I don't get all the negativity. People are so hard to please these days. What did you all expect, really?

@Jimmy_VNC82 Same here! The absence of the NBA app is the one thing that doesn't make this machine perfect .
Re: How Well Do You Know These PlayStation Couples This Valentine's Day?
Wow. 9/10. I got really lucky on 4 of the 5 answers I had to guess.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 363
Just picked up Sackboy: A Big Adventure for PS5, together with Super Mario 3D World on Switch. I'll be playing both with the wife and kid. Couch multiplayer is so much fun!
I'm also catching up on some PS4 gems I missed. God of War is next.
