Good news, I will be honest I have this game but have yet to try it due to the life sap (in a good way) that is Hell Divers 2, I need to get on it!

Yeah they can be a pain, if you get in the sights of the guns placed on the heads you are pretty much a goner but the turret on top isn't too bad a couple of quasar shots will destroy them. An orbital rail cannon strike and a orbital laser will do the trick to take them down though! Problem is when you come across more than one at a time you need coordination to not waste strategems or they become a real pain.
This game is awesome and I can't get enough!!

Zombies, dual wield guns and VR.......Count me in

Yeah the eruptor is my new primary now, it absolutely wrecks the bots, still doesn't stop me from getting rocket sniped though 😂

Interesting, I will have to try Balatro and Unicorn Overlord at some point. My favourite game so far is HD2 and I didn't even think I was going to pick it up, previewed great so I pre-ordered it and haven't played much else since since - truly brilliant!

Well deserved, it is just consistently the best MP experience out there for me, regular updates keep it fresh too. Looking forward to the new enemy type when they arrive!!

@Northern_munkey It is a great weapon, destroys automatons too. I am working towards the grenade pistol now, that looks awesome!

Yeah I beat it and I beat for a few others too, not that I am great at gaming but I am a petrol head so perhaps that helps as the checklist made perfect sense to me. It was almost 25 years ago so no doubt if I tried it now as an old man I would find it tougher or maybe not who knows!!!

@Northern_munkey They were the halcyon days my friend, I think this was the first game I got which meant I had to get a universal adaptor as it was the NTSC (U.S.) version I got originally. Happy days indeed!

Keeping an eye on this one, love twin stick shooters which this has a look of and reminds me of Smash TV (plus a sword), it probably plays nothing like but it does have those vibes!

@__Seraph I wish I could like your comment multiple times over, I despair at times mate! For the price (and we are in April) I have already gotten value for money, I mean it is like £10 per month or a bit more if you don't shop around. I would like to see some VR games come to the service though even if it is only the premium tier and 1 per month.

@wildcat_kickz Spot on mate, those raids were class and I miss the commentary on the way down for strikes (whether we wanted it or not we've stepped into a war with the Cabal - RIP Lance) and Dinklage was the best Ghost

I have a fond spot for D1 and D2 and would love to go back but each time I do I am just lost I couldn't imagine trying that out as new player, must be a nightmare!

The gun play is still probably the best out there though and I will definitely get D3 if it ever happens.

Ridiculous, as I said yesterday on the other article, as a Star Wars fan it will probably be a day one purchase for me but just the std game no unnecessary extras.

It was Ubisoft who put me off ever getting a season pass again after FC5, I had moved onto other games before the expansions came out and it was a complete waste of money!

Destiny will always have a special place in my heart from the days of D1 but I tapped out of D2 after season of the drifter and when I tried to go back it was just nothing like what I left and I felt a bit lost with the currencies & upgrades etc... It is still on my HD so maybe I will dip back in one day but it is all Helldivers for me now!

I hope it is great for the community though!

Helldivers 2, it's just pure fun even with random's, the community is great and the devs are doing a great job so far supporting it! Looking forward to Pacific Drive once the physical arrives in a couple of weeks and also Stella Blade but can't see either stopping me from more HD2 ✊

Not only is Helldivers my favourite of the year so far but it has rekindled that multiplayer itch which has been lacking since Destiny/Division.
I was and still a predominantly single player gamer but since H2 came out it is pretty much all I have played.
I do have Pacific Drive on pre-order (physical), looking forward to giving that a go if I can stop playing Helldivers for a bit. Really want to try Banishers too!!
Can't argue with those games for just the first 3 months of the year

Really hyped for this. if pre-orders go up afterwards I'll be there.

Enjoyed the EA games, great combat and good characters plus I loved the Division so fingers crossed on this one!!

@Bentleyma Do it mate, my Vita is the go to portable in my life though I am very tempted by a steam Deck but have never PC gamed so unsure! I do love my Evercade though!

More Helldivers to ensure democracy and rid ourselves of the Automatons for good! I am sure that means the Alien race is on the way 🤞✊

Probably some VR with GT7 too.

I did my bit, shame to have lost Tibit but this softens the blow. I get that people prefer the bugs but the bots are awesome when you are coordinated with the rights strats etc.

I wanted o try Immortals out so will get around to it one day but no time soon, the rest are not for me.
I know it won't happen but if they are really going to abandon PSVR2 they may should give us a VR game a month now too.

As the previous weekends, I will be defending Super Earth but this weekend mostly destroying Automotons!

My Indie collection 3 arrived for the Evercade too so a bit of Donut Dodo for me too for nostalgia's sake!

Really enjoyed this game on the PS3, probably why I enjoyed Evil West so much as that also had the B movie vibe! If they drop a physical version I will happily pick it up again!

The front page article had ants as the screen shot but I should have known the 8 legged freaks would feature too, can't watch the trailer and can't buy the game due my arachnophobia but my god does it look real!! Imagine that in VR........ No thank you 😂

@Kidfunkadelic83 Yeah I totally agree, they should all be getting older by now The art style of the new game is excellent though I am not overly fond of Chun Li and those massive thighs 😂
Akuma does look really cool here, almost Viking like, I think Alpha 3 was my favourite version of him but there isn't really a bad one!

Akuma is probably my favourite character, it is such a shame that modern fighting games lock characters behind paywalls (season pass) and as such I will never get to play him

It is just a brilliant game that deserve all the plaudits it gets, great price point & no pay to win, just good fun all round!

Got this one pre-ordered so really chuffed to read it is decent! Contra III or Super Probotector as it was called here in the UK was one of my favourite SNES game of all time, it was tough but fair!

I have run out of superlatives for this game it is just that good and with the announcement of a new warbond coming next week and mechs soon after it will hopefully get better and better!

@Cloud7794 Hi buddy, I agree we shouldn't all be running a meta build and it's clearly what Arrow Head are trying to avoid I just haven't come across squads of the same build, if anything I think the grenade launcher seems most popular (along with the Gen pack).
Having played a few games last night the nerf is not too bad, you can still one shot a bile spewer in unsafe mode and the chargers are now more like 5 -6 shots (with my aim) which seems fair.
The games brilliant as is the community and you are right versatility is very welcome I was just a bit gutted to see 3 of my favourite bits of kit get nerfed first 👍

The railgun was a top tier weapon so why nerf it when you have to earn it!
I find most games have a good mix of weapons, we aren't all running around with rail guns and gen packs I see a lot of grenade launchers and anti tank weapons so seems a shame but maybe it's different on PC!

Like others, not only am I non stop playing I am also thinking about it loads and looking up builds and articles on line daily, just can't get enough.

I am staying away from the Helldivers Reddit though (which is killing me) because if I do that it will be Destiny all over again which I think I lost about 2 years worth of gaming/life to!

Continuing my duty for democracy but I need to finish off Trepang2 so hopefully a bit of that too but man I am finding it hard play anything other than Helldivers of late.

I just love the taste of that Liber-Tea.....

@SonOfClement I think the success of Helldivers proves your point my friend, It helps no one to be locked to one platform, they could at least let multiplayer titles go day and date on PC.
