@ButterySmooth30FPS It hasn't aged very well. Was playing the arcade at PRGE last fall and we were saying out loud. "Was PJ always this broken?" Lol! Still a nice addition though. Online Power Stone 2 & CvS2 are the stars. Can't wait.

I agree that TLoU 2 pales in comparison to the original story. I thought the prologue of TLoU 2 (which we're seeing now) was engaging. I also though the last chapter riveting. The middle section of the game is what had the problems to me. I am curious to see how they change or flesh out the TV adaptation from the source material. Do you think they can fix the issues of the games story/presentation over the next one or two seasons? The therapy session was a nice addition for instance.

@roe @johncalmc Agreed. Something just seemed off. I had a few gripes, but the biggest was this. I remember the surprise of getting control of this new girl Abby in game and thinking What the heck? Who is this & why am I playing as her? They should have kept that surprise. Opening up with Abby & gang saying they are going after Joel was a mistake. The pacing of the game was better IMO. I cant fault them for wanting to try something new though. I will be watching every Sunday. No way they finish the story in 7 episodes though without a lot of compromises.

1. As some one that has done Judo for over 20 years. Those guys 3 times her size let your wife knock them over. If they want to stop her from throwing/tripping them they 100% would. Bad argument considering even in the scene the guy & Jessie stated he was obviously holding back. Common sense...

@GamingFan4Lyf False. Sony wanted cross play in the PS360 gen and Microsoft held out. Then when PS4 trounced The XBO Microsoft begged for cross play. Nintendo didn't open a cross play bubble quickly. They just got into it with the Switch. Also saying that Nintendo started cross save with the Super game boy is disingenuous. The Super Game Boy was literally Game Boy internal on a cart. So it wasn't cross saving anything. You were playing on a SNES but saving on Game Boy internals.

Just got the Platinum a month ago with no issues. Still have not tried out the extra mode. Probably never will. Miss the old ND

I got the platinum in the original, but I'll drop $10 for this update. The new mode looks great.

I will never pay $70 for a nintendo game. I'll continue to buy used. I bought TotK new for $56 through that random Amazon price drop they a had a few weeks after launch. Got most of their 1st party games through Gamestop B2G1 free sales. Comes out around $34 each.

@cedarhyped and you sound wildly insecure & defensive. If you're so happy with the direct just go back to the echo chamber with the rest of them. You literally created a PS account to complian. You haven't added anything to the community. A lot of people think the reveal was mid. You need to look outside of the echo chamber to see it though kiddo.

Fantastic Monster Hunter Wilds Sales. Over 10 million confirmed sales is crazy. When Shadows drops to $20-30 in the next couple of months I'll give it a try.

I appreciate Capcom's transparency with everything happening in Monster Hunter Wilds, even sales numbers. I support developers like that. Continued success is deserved.

@Areus I put well over 100 hrs into GTA 5 and have never touch multiplayer so I cant agree. Even though GTA online was extremely popular and got crazy amounts of continued support. Let's not pretend that the single player campaign wasn't bursting with content.

@Nem For sure. We agree about it being successful. While 146 million Switch's sold is really good. Remember during the DS generation Nintendo also had this little thing called the Wii on the market. Wii & DS sold over 260 million units. Even though Nintendo consolidated their handheld & home divisions. The very successful Switch never got close to their peak numbers.

@Nem Nintendo handhelds are successful for sure, but there has historically been a big drop off between each them. The biggest being the loss of over 50% of users between DS & 3DS. While 76 mill is a great number. That's a huge drop off in customers.

Game Boy/GBC: 118 million
Game Boy Advance: 82 million
DS: 154 million
3DS: 76 million

It'll be interesting to see if the new Switch will break this trend.

Just saw the movie. It was great. The Sonic movies have so much heart. Looking forward to the next one.

@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare I dunno about that. Most people I know that have kids have Playstations or Xbox S for their kids. The average person just isn't dealing with a PC. Why do you think there have been multiple Fortnite bundles on PS. Those aren't for adults. Lol! Also remember that beef Epic had with Sony because Sony has crazy fortnite numbers and revenue and epic backended a storefront to get that cash. Plus CoD & GTA still pull crazy numbers on PS. Kids and Teens are a big part of that.

@Ralizah Whats impressive is during its run the PS2 (160 mil) outsold the both consoles Nintendo had on the market GBA (81 mil) & GC (21 mil) by a large margin. While the Switch has done very well at over 140 mill, but its a noticeable drop from Nintendo's best gen even while consolidating its home & portable consoles. Also considering their Portables always outsold the home consoles by a large margin. 259 million sold with the Wii (105 mill) & DS (154 mil) was crazy. Plus like others have said. Adding Switch lite sale to that total is kinda BS since it can't you know...Switch.

I'm playing through Trip's story and I like it. Superstars is a solid 7 for me. The only issue was the last boss in the regular campaign. Worth the $20 I paid for it. I skipped Mario Wonder because I think 2D Mario games post SNES are boring.

Naughty dog should post the trailer on Bluesky. They will get a perfect reception there. All the negative comments will be deleted. Honestly I'm fine with the push back. Oof! Definitely not buying that. Graphics look high quality. Everything else looks awful. When they release more info and gameplay then I'll give it a fair shake. Debut trailer was so unappealing to me.

@Matroska Final Fantasy 16 still sold over 3 million in a week on PS5 only. Dragon Quest 3 HD shipped (not sold) 2 million including digital sales in 3 weeks all platforms (PS5, NS & PC) comparing steam numbers is a odd & disingenuous way to throw shade at FF 16.

Bluesky seems to be where only one side of the political spectrum can say what they want to say true or make believe. X seems to be where anyone can say anything true or make believe, but lies can be checked with community notes. I don't have social media, but bluesky seems quite pathetic. Like the Miiverse of social media. An echo chamber, circle jerk where any criticism isn't allowed.
